When a witch who can’t forget meets a graveyard keeper who can’t remember. Together they discover a love that lingers beyond the grave and a mystery that cannot be buried.
When Shiloh Solair awakens in the graveyard she keeps, clutching a shovel, with no memory of how she got there— she expects to find a headache and laughing ghosts. Instead, she discovers a witch, Lunette Selene, dressed all in white, chanting above her murdered fiancé’s grave.
Together, the two fall into a haunting romance, confronting grief and loss, through steamy encounters and their undeniable attraction.
However, all is not what it seems in Hollows Grove, as the mystery of three recent graves multiplies as the killer is still on the loose.
Can the unlikely pair solve the mystery before one of them becomes the next target? Or will the truth, and their newfound desires, die in a shallow October grave?
Some secrets, and spirits, refuse to stay buried. And sometimes one-sided love is the greatest haunting of all.

This was my first Kat Blackthorne work and I was so pleased. Yay me! I saw the book trailer on TikTok and I loved it so much, I instantly got this novella. I don’t read horror and I am tentative with my choices for dark romance. I have had Switch sitting in my TBR forever because I, for some reason, think it’s gonna be too dark for my little mushy heart. This was actually very sweet. The insta- lust and love was done so well. I completely bought into all of it. This was spooky and fun and SPICY. It’s really cool how much she packed into this little novella. It’s kinda modern, kinda gothic, kinda romantasy, and very mushy. This was the perfect smutty, spooky fall read for me.
p.s. I think Kat and KD are adorable and I wish they were my neighbors.
"A love so strong, so fated, not even death could keep us apart. I crawled from the beyond to find het and I was never letting her go."
A short, sapphic, murder mystery that I read in one go.
In this book you will find: 🖤FF romance 🖤Murder mystery 🖤Witches and ghosts 🖤Cats! 🖤Spice
This story was sweet, spicy and spooky. My favourite things! So while this was a quick read, I really enjoyed it. Kat's writing always makes me either smile or cry my eyeballs out (add in spice for both occasions). This one made me smile.
Wow I loved this so much! I can't believe how much she fit into this book which was a little over a hundred pages. I loved the story and how everything played out.
When Shiloh wakes up on top of a grave she isn't sure what to think. She doesn't remember why she was there or why she was even digging this grave. As she is waking up she sees someone at someone's grave and she can't seem to stop looking at her. She is wearing a wedding dress and she is blown away by her beauty. Lunette can sense that Shiloh is watching her and decides to take her into her house.
Shiloh knows what she wants and she wants Lunette but there is something stopping her even though she also feels things towards her as well. Lunette is a white witch that is able to cast spells, talk to things that are not there.
I loved the mystery that was going on in this. The way things started to slowly piece together was keeping me on the edge of my seat. I needed to know what was going to happen next and what they were going to find out next. The spice was definitely spicing and I LOVED it!

This book was an absolute ride—dark, atmospheric, and dripping with spice. Kat Blackthorne doesn’t just give you romance; she drops you into a world of ghosts, witches, spells, and fog-covered graveyards where every shadow feels alive. The creepy mansion vibes, the haunting cats, and the whisper of the dead made the mystery tense. Just when I thought I had the murderer figured out, another jaw-dropping twist sent me spiraling. It’s a delicious blend of spooky sapphic passion and who-done-it madness that kept me turning pages long after midnight.
Review: If there is always one thing I can count on it's that this author will blow me away with whatever she writes. Although this may be a short story it is mighty and I'm here for it. This story was cute, sweet, and extra spicy. I loved that there was also a mystery element to this as well and apparently, I'm too dense to figure out what was actually right in front of me, so I was of course shocked at the end when it all pieced together.
Thank you so much to the amazing Kat for allowing me to be a part of this ARC team. I seriously loved this story so much and can't wait for others to love it as well.

a graveyard, witches, and ghosts, oh my 🪦👻 this sweet spooky novella felt like a love letter which i absolutely loved 🥺 and somehow also a murder mystery as well? this would be a great read to start spooky season with.
i did feel like the first spicy scene and a few others came out of nowhere, but the spicy was hot 🥵 and you had so much longing from Shiloh. and also, graveyard spice 😏🪦
thank you Kat Blackthorne for an e-ARC of 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐲𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐆𝐢𝐫𝐥𝐬: 𝐀 𝐒𝐩𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐲 𝐋𝐞𝐬𝐛𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐌𝐮𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐌𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐑𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞
This is a spooky, sweet, and spicy sapphic novella that's just in time for the scary season!
Lunette and Shiloh happen upon each other in the Hollow graveyard. Thus starts the tale of murder, mystery, and unexpected love.
Graveyard Girls is a quick read filled with engaging characters and made me feel a bit like I was in a game of Clue (which I love by the way). And I always enjoy an amazing sapphic romance. Plus our FMCs give readers plenty of heat!
I thoroughly enjoyed this story, and while I rarely complain, I do wish it had been drawn out a little more. I loved living in this storyline. The murder mystery vibes, dark, eerie, and moody atmosphere really drew me in. The fated mates energy (I’m a sucker for the trope) was everything, and I loved the deep connection between Lunette and Shiloh. The cats were perfect, and the oddball background characters just made it even more fun trying to figure out who dun it!
“Her proximity to murder was beginning to unsettle me”
Despite the autumnal Vibes being there, this didn’t work for me at all. The gist is there’s a witch and a gravedigger and they’re together, sort of, except the witch loves someone else and the gravedigger has amnesia. Whole thing was rather confusing and bland, and unfortunately the sex scenes were repetitive and dull, so I was disappointed.
Short with spice and some sweetness. The murder mystery part wasn't really a surprise or a mystery, but I enjoyed the engagement between Shiloh and Lunette. Great gothic vibes with WLW.
Too short I want longer. Eat that box yeah 🙌💪. I adore that the author is queer and has a queer partner and the dedication I NEED a wife right now. This would’ve been 4 stars if there was more tension more stakes just more but it was still very gay and very enjoyable.
This little novella had me hooked from page one. It’s darkly romantic, witchy, and just the right mix of sweet and sinister.
Lunette, the lonely white witch with her herd of cats, and Shiloh, the headstrong woman who wakes up in a graveyard with missing memories, make such a fascinating pair. Their chemistry is instant but layered. Playful and cute one moment, lust filled and spicy the next. The tension between them builds alongside a twisty little mystery that isn’t exactly what you think it is at first, and I loved being caught off guard by the reveals!
The mystery itself left me shocked! I went in expecting one kind of story and ended up with something twisty-er, which I really appreciated in such a short format. Moonlit graveyards, shadowy danger, and love where you least expect it. Kat Blackthorne ALWAYS nails the vibes.
The atmosphere is exactly what I want in a fall read: gothic, moonlit, and a little eerie, but still warm with romance. It’s sapphic, gothic, and hella spicy! (and when I say spicy, I mean SPICY) It's the perfect novella to curl up with on a cozy night when you want something dark and romantic without a huge time commitment.

Spice is hot and unashamed. Scenes are explicit, passionate, and fast-burning. No fade to black scenes to be found. Short but steamy enough to fog up the graveyard!

sWitch was my first Kat Blackthorne read, and between both sWitch and this, you can consider me a fan. My only complaint is I wish it were longer, because I want more! This was a great start of fall treat, and I give it ⭐⭐⭐⭐ out of 5 stars!

“Love should be something that inspires her to focus on her life and not on death. Love shouldn’t be spent in graveyards mourning, but in the daylight, living, laughing, and being.”
I loved this sweet and spooky little sapphic story. Our main characters Shiloh and Lunette meet in the local graveyard where Shiloh works. The setting immediately drew me in because I am also a fan of haunting cemeteries and graveyards.
Lunette is a white witch who visits her deceased fiancé’s grave each night to perform a resurrection spell. She wears her wedding dress as she faithfully recites her spell and is quite the sight to behold. She continues to have hope that her spell will eventually work, though her fiancé was murdered three months ago.
Shiloh mysteriously wakes up on the graveyard grounds and is suffering a bit of memory loss. When she meets Lunette she doesn’t hesitate to go home with the enchanting white witch. Lunette allows Shiloh to stay with her while Shiloh sorts out her memories. Even though Lunette is mourning her dead fiancé she can’t deny the chemistry between Shiloh and herself. There were so many spicy scenes in this short little book and they were hot hot hot.
Graveyard Girls is perfect for spooky season and fans of all things spooky. There is a murder mystery, ghosts, cats, romance, spice, and a small town vibe. Kat is such a talented storyteller. This book will definitely be on my list to read again.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - 5 Star Rating Multi First Person POV (Shiloh and Lunette) Spice Level: 🌶️🌶️🌶️
🖤 𝓻𝓮𝓿𝓲𝓮𝔀 🖤 Blackthorne has come out and given up a spicy and sapphic spooky short story just in time for the season. Graveyard Girls gives the reader all the spooky vibes that prepares you for the haunting holiday. From witches, to ghosts, to murder, this book has you gripped until the end, wondering who did it in this murder mystery plot.
Shiloh Solair wakes up one night in the very graveyard she takes care of with no recollection of how she ended up there. She soon discovers she is not alone when she comes across Lunette who is at the cemetery to visit her late fiancé. Lunette understands that Shiloh is vulnerable and persuades her to come with her home for the night.
But when bodies start to develop around town due to a mystery killer, their lives intertwine for the best and the closer they become, the brighter their flame grows for each other. Without spoiling too much, let’s just say their playful behavior becomes more spicy and prominent the further you get in the story. The end has that dark twist that is composed perfectly with the quick-pacing of the plot. The characters are absolutely likable, causing you to want more from this paranormal duo.
The atmosphere is dark and spooky, full of gothic vibes as Lunette and her cats will absolutely grab your heart strings. This sapphic romance novel is a don’t miss and is out just in time for the prominent spooky season.
Great, hauntingly beautiful, sweet and spicy short story with magic, lots of cats and a murder mystery.
I loved this short story! I couldn’t put this book down and devoured it in one sitting.
The chemistry between Shiloh and Lunette was amazing, the spice between them was definitely spicing and they were so cute together. I loved how smitten Shiloh was with Lunette immediately and literally followed her home like a lost puppy.
The twist towards the end took me by surprise and wasn’t something I saw coming. Loved the ending and how the characters got what they deserved.
“Usually, I wouldn’t pry, but how could I not be intrigued by a beautiful woman dressed all in white in the middle of a cemetery in the dead of night?” “You were just almost lobotomized, and you’re flirting with me.” “You’re gonna have to tell me what that means, sweetheart. I don’t speak witch.” “Are you playing some witch trick on me, or are you naturally just impossible to say no to?” “I have no interest in what my life was before you, before this. Stop looking back and look forward with me.”
I received an ARC of this book and I am voluntarily leaving a review. Receiving ARC didn’t affect my opinion of the book.
A quick, adorable, fun, and at times, sexy read. I downed this book in a little over a day since I just couldn't put it down. Absolutely beautiful how Shiloh finds her way into Lunette's life and quickly becomes entranced by her every move. Shiloh gives off a mix of labrador retriever and german shepherd vibes aiming to please while also protect. Lunette is a newfoundland vibe with how loyal and caring she can be, even if she didn't realize her loyalty to her fiance was holding her back. The added mysteries in the story really wrapped everything together nicely. Overall, I was extremely pleased reading Graveyard Girls and can't wait to see what Kat Blackthorne comes up with next!
Favorite Quote: Mostly, I was a guilty mix of relieved that she was single and disappointed that she might be into men and not women. That’s a hell of a fucked up reaction to someone telling you their fiancé died, but it was true, and I never claimed to be a virtuous person. - Shiloh
✨ Graveyard Girls ✨ A spooky sapphic murder mystery romance you won’t see coming.
🌙 Lunette, a white witch, spends her nights at her late fiancée’s grave—wedding dress on, spellbook in hand—trying to bring her back. But when Shiloh wakes on the graveyard grounds with missing memories, she’s drawn straight into Lunette’s world… and her bed.
💀 Expect: 🖤 Creepy mansion vibes 🐈⬛ Haunting cats 👻 Whispers of the dead 🔥 Spicy, hot-hot-hot romance 🔪 Murder, mystery & jaw-dropping twists
This short, steamy gothic tale delivers haunting chills, sizzling chemistry, and an ending that stuns.
Graveyard Girls was such a fun and atmospheric read! I absolutely loved the main character—she’s unique, relatable, and kept me hooked from the very beginning. Her voice and perspective really made the story shine, and I found myself rooting for her the whole way through.
The book delivered the creepy, moody vibes I was hoping for, and it balanced the eerie atmosphere with just the right amount of heart. While there were a few moments where I wished the pacing picked up or certain details went a little deeper, overall it was an engaging and memorable read.
If you love stories with a gothic edge, strong characters, and a touch of the unusual, Graveyard Girls is definitely worth picking up.
The fact that Blackthorne could fit all this in less than 100 pages is amazing.
Shiloh is the type of woman who knows what she wants and will do anything to make Lunette hers and only hers. Lunette is a white witch who takes Shiloh in (like her many, many cats) after waking up in a cemetery and losing parts of her memories. Loved the switch dynamic! These two complimented each other so well!
I loved the vibes throughout: gothic with a touch of moonlight.
If you’re looking for a sweet, short read, make sure this is next in your list!
I received a free arc for an honest review. I absolutely loved this novella. Shiloh wakes up in a grave with her shovel with no memory of how she got there. She sees a beautiful women by the name of Lunette and follows her home. Her only memory she has is that she's the graveyard keeper. Watching the story unfold of the relationship building between Shiloh and Lunette and learning more of the mystery that is going on around them prevented me from being able to put the book down. I ended up finishing it in one day and absolutely loved it. It is a very cute short sapphic story that I think anyone would enjoy. Definitely a favorite of the year!!
Spoiler: no pasa. Puedo decir, sin temor a equivocarme que es una de las peores lecturas de este año. Y eso que la parte LGBTQ era ya de por sí un punto a favor… pero todas las demás incongruencias lo fulminaron.
How do I say everything I want to say about this book without spoiling anything? One word…. SPICY!!!! But in all seriousness this book was such a fun read and it was so cool to see Kat delve into writing something new with the murder mystery component which she did so well! If I had to sum it up in one word though it would be spice for sure because I think she threw about as much of it in here as she could’ve and it was hot as all hell! If you’re looking for a spooky season kickoff read this is perfect! It’s a quick read and I didn’t want it to end but I enjoyed every minute!
If you’re looking for a spooky, sweet and spicy sapphic novella to get you in the mood for this fall of frights then this book is absolutely for you!!
Kat is one of those authors that’s get you hooked from page one and has you reading at every single opportunity and as always she delivered like the halloween queen she is.
I absolutely adore the characters in this book and their dynamic??? the chemistry, the banter, the flirting, it all hits from the first interaction to the final pages.
So if you want to take a sweet and spooky walk into the graveyard, you should haunt these pages 👻
