📘 Twisted Souls

Some love stories are written in ink.
Theirs is carved into skin.

Alaya Mojica wasn’t looking for forever—just freedom. A fresh start. A quiet place to bury the weight of her past.

Then came Sylas Adams. Beautiful. Brutal. Bound by shadows even darker than her own.

He wasn’t supposed to see her.
She wasn’t supposed to feel this much.
But fate doesn't ask permission before unraveling you.

As secrets surface and loyalties are tested, Alaya finds herself trapped in a love that cuts deeper than betrayal—and bleeds into everything.

Sylas is the chaos she craves.
Malcolm is the calm she never knew she needed.
And between them lies the truth she’s spent her whole life outrunning.

Some souls aren’t just twisted—they’re entangled.
And not everyone survives the knot.

About the author

Ryne Cole

1 book5 followers
Ryne Cole pens stories that don’t whisper—they seduce, sting, and stay. Her writing blends urban grit with poetic heat, threading sensuality through emotional chaos and characters who bleed beautifully on the page.

A Texas native raised on stories and silence, Ryne has been writing since childhood—but it was the encouragement of her best friend, Dia Sensei, that called her back to the page in adulthood.

Her debut novel, Twisted Souls, is a visceral journey through love, betrayal, and desire—equal parts intimate and explosive.

When she’s not writing, Ryne is somewhere quiet with a book in her hand and a poem half-formed in her head. An introvert with a loud imagination, she writes for the readers who feel deeply, love fiercely, and never apologize for either.

This is only the beginning.

This was PHENOMENAL!I mean from beginning to end.The characters are so compelling, they each have their own individual stories and turmoil that carry the narrative seamlessly. Each chapter is written in the potency and poetry of a very lived experience. The emotion of the characters is conveyed with such subtlety you have no choice but to empathize each one.Even within contradiction. The depth of her writing is breathtaking. There’s a particular pacing that makes the narrative feel urgent but not rushed.Detailed but not tedious.Every word, every scene, every character is very intentional.Masterful world building. My only real gripe is that it ended lol

I’m ecstatic for the sequel!😮‍💨😩
