Revolution: Andy Flint Thriller Series - Book Six

THREE WOMEN ARE DEAD.
ONE SECRET COULD BRING DOWN THE PRESIDENT.
When Senator Holly Weaver's daughter dies in a seemingly routine car accident, the FBI has little reason to suspect murder.

But former CIA operative Andy Flint sees something others don't.

Tabatha Weaver was young, successful, and apparently happy. Her death looks like a tragic accident.

Until two of her closest friends die within weeks of her.

A drowning.

A hit-and-run.

Three young women. Three deaths. One connection.

Flint begins digging.

What he discovers leads him into a world of political influence, secret alliances, and carefully orchestrated killings. People who knew Tabatha are dying one by one. Witnesses disappear. An apparent suicide doesn't stand up to scrutiny.

And someone is watching him.

When a professional assassin comes after him, the investigation takes a deadly turn. Flint uncovers evidence of a secret organization with enormous wealth and influence—an organization that has manipulated American politics from the shadows for generations.

But their ultimate objective is far more terrifying than controlling elections.

They intend to overthrow the government.

And their plan is already underway.

With the President in their sights and the nation's security compromised from within, Flint must expose the conspiracy before America's democracy is destroyed from the inside.

But the closer he gets to the truth, the more dangerous the people hunting him become.

Because the most dangerous enemy isn't outside the government.

It's the one hiding inside it.

Revolution is a gripping political espionage thriller packed with murder, assassination, conspiracy, intelligence operations, and relentless action.

If you enjoy CIA thrillers, political conspiracies, secret organizations, and determined heroes who refuse to stop when the evidence says they should, Revolution will keep you turning the pages.

Revolution is the latest (and hopefully not the last) in a series of books centered on Andy Flint, a former CIA agent who is navigating a strange new world outside the agency. Before jumping in, you need to know that the author is from Great Britain and lives in New Zealand. And he writes like someone from Great Britain. He uses phrases that most Americans wouldn’t use, little things like referring to highways on the east coast as The I-95. It’s not distracting, and it does not detract from the story whatsoever. Some of the phrases even lend local flair when the story is occurring outside the U.S. And personally, I think it’s nice to have the author's voice sneak in sometimes, retaining a little bit of themselves while telling the story.

Andy Flint is one of my favorite “Hero’s”. He’s a deeply flawed individual who is doing the best he can to atone for past mistakes, and do the right thing now even though events just keep going sideways on him. Yet, he never gives up, and at the end of the day he’s still standing, maybe not in the spot he was hoping to be, but he’s standing. Flint's mistakes, and his constant struggles combine to make him a really relatable character.

The story really works here. It’s a fantastic next step in Andy Flint’s journey, but Kozmar does a great job of developing his recurring characters in a way that lets you pick up any book in the series and understand what’s happening. You do not have to read the books in order - I didn’t and I don’t think I missed anything by starting “out of order”.

The story moves fast, has plenty of plot twists, and it’s an easy, fun read. I’m already waiting for the next installment. I don’t want to give you any spoilers, but read the book. You’ll thank me later.

REVOLUTION is the sixth instalment in Peter Kozmar’s contemporary, adult ANDY FLINT THRILLER political suspense series focusing on former CIA agent Andrew ‘Andy’ Flint. REVOLUTION can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary.

Told from omniscient third person perspective (Andy) REVOLUTION follows in the wake of the death of a senator’s daughter, and the ensuing deaths of two of her friends. Disgraced former CIA Agent Andy Flint now works as an independent contractor but when FBI agent Jamie Skeptaris, currently on medical leave for his obsession about the case, calls Andy for help with his behind the scenes investigation, the trail of bodies, espionage and political machinations finds Andy and Jamie the targets of an assassin, and the involvement of more than one international spy organization aiming to take control at the top.

The world building follows several paths as Andy begins to uncover a series of deaths that may or may not be related to his original investigation. As the cases are closed, Andy will reopen the files, uncovering a trail of betrayal and corruption that reaches close to the top.

There is a large ensemble cast of questionable, connected and stubborn characters including politicians, law enforcement, victims and friends.

REVOLUTION is a story of betrayal and vengeance, power and control, secrets and lies, espionage and intelligence. The premise is thought-provoking, intriguing and dramatic; the characters are charismatic, determined and dangerous.

I absolutely love these Andy Flint thrillers. They are packed with action and suspense!! From the start of the book until the end of the book it keeps you on the edge of your seat. At the first page I was hooked. The characters are true to life. They are relatable. They are cunning, intelligent and easy to become wrapped up in. If you like crime suspense, a book that keeps you guessing, well then this one is for you. While the book is part of a series, it is also easy to read as a stand alone.

I voluntarily received an arc copy of this book and am voluntarily writing this review

Wow ... wow ... wow! That was a fantastic read. The suspense, drama, intrigue, and cyanide were all present and really started to take hold from Chapter 30 onwards. In fact, when I turned the page labelled "Epilogue," I felt disappointed. Disappointed that there were no additional chapters of fun-packed, end-to-end drama, as this storyline really grabbed me. The descriptive side of you has grown, Peter, over the years, and this book, IMHO, ranks much higher than many leading authors around the world.

Excellent work, Peter! This is your best book by far!

volution is a twisting and turning page turner! If you love to read stories that keep you guessing and on the edge of your seat, this is the book for you. The entire franchise is worth a look but Revolution might just be Kozmars best yet. Can’t recommend this read enough!!!

Once again Andy is on the job doing the best he can. He’s trying to figure out the crime and if anyone can , he’s the one. Full of suspense and danger to keep you trying to guess what happens next. Can’t get enough of Andy and need more books by this amazing author.

Poorly-written slop not worth even the low cost of the book

Don’t read this book. Given the low price, I knew it was a risk to buy but it didn’t even meet my already low expectations. Save yourself 99 cents and choose a better book
