The love story of Hendrix and Monroe isn't your average urban romance about the innocent school girl falling for the big time dope boy. Oh no, Hendrix is far more than that. Monroe is eighteen years old and fresh out of high school. It’s summertime, and she just wants to have fun. So, when she crosses paths with the intriguing and mysterious man called Hendrix she's devoted to making him hers. But there's one problem - he seems to fall off the face of the earth, and no one knows him. How could it be that Hendrix is the boss of a lucrative drug empire, but not a soul knows who he is? Because he's a genius, that's why. Instead of basking in the limelight attached to the drug game, he leaves that to his twin brother, Jimi. But there is much more to Hendrix than meets the eye. Hendrix's private, low key lifestyle becomes a complication for Monroe, who is having a hard time convincing her family and friends that Hendrix exists. A lot is at stake - her mental health and freedom included. How far is Monroe willing to go to prove that the love of her life exists? Will Hendrix be able to show face in order to save the young girl who gave him something he's yearned to have for years? Will Monroe be able to accept Hendrix's truth when it’s presented to her? Or will the whirlwind of events she's faced with send her over the cliff of sanity?

The Coldest Winter Ever was the first urban fiction book she read. It wast then when she took Fanfiction to another level. She perfected her writing skills, and began to write Urban fanfiction. At first, writing was something she did in her spare time. Something that was therapeutic to her. Never in a million years, did she think she would become a published author, although it has always been a dream of hers.
Now, at the age of twenty-eight, she's penned over ten bestselling novels with many more to come.
In addition to writing, She's also CEO and founder of Miss Candice Presents.
Sorry for the confusion but I became quite vested in this story. I was caught up in the story line and just knew Miss Candice would not do me like this! I immediately fell in love with Hendrix and had a strong need, I would even say demand that he be allowed to be and stay among the living! I could tell this was a hard story to write. It was hard read and I was unable to put it down. I just knew what I was thinking was wrong, or that some twist or change in circumstance would be my reward. I was wrong, but still came away feeling having been given a well told story. Please Miss Candice don't do me like that again!
I was hoping Hendrix was a vampire, but no and that made it more sad. Poor Monroe, she had a spiritual gift, but her family thought she was crazy. This was a very interesting perspective. I enjoyed reading this.
