He promised he wouldn't leave her. He made an oath to carry her home. "Daena worry, Princess, I will get ye free. I promise, I will get ye home, I promise I will keep ye safe…"
But he doesn't know how to work the vessel and everything might be out of his control. She hates him, she might be falling in love with him, and he's the only person in the world, through time, who knows where she is. He is her last chance to get home.Torin and His Oath is the second book in the Torin and the Princess series. It is a contemporary time traveling romance with a dash of history and a bit of SciFi, from the writer of Kaitlyn and the Highlander and the Scottish Duke and the Rules of Time Travel.
Torin and his Oath is the second book in the Torin and the Princess trilogy. Readers should read book 1 first. This second book starts out where the first book left off with Torin and Lexi having been kidnapped and time traveled back to Scotland in the 1500s. Through their troubles we get to know the kind of people Torin and Lexi are. There is excitement, suspense, humorous banter, and evolving feelings. Highly recommend!
Torin and Lexi in 1558 went through battles and rain. They traveled and traveled with little food. The vessel wouldn’t work. Lexi got sick and the vessel finally got them to 2004 and medicine. Torin went home and Lexi missed him. Soon he came back and they hand fasted.
I finished this book yesterday day November 16 2025 it was a little late getting a review due to my illness and my husband who had to be admitted to the hospital for back pain. It was a great story and I truly enjoyed reading it, I love how they finally got together and her getting to meet her bother. Can’t wait to read the next book in the series. I give it a 5 Stars review
But i think i always say that with Diana's books. I've loved them all. I love how she has interwoven all the time travel series she writes. I can't wait to see what Torin and Lexi will get into as an actual couple. Ready for book 3...already. enjoy all.
Once again, Diana Knightley's imagination and creativity deliver a tale of adventure, love and chivalry! Beautiful and heartfelt, her novels have made us fall in love with Scotland and its beautiful landscapes. A must read, it will enchant you.
I just love these characters and seeing them banter and fall in love!! They do remind me a bit of someone else… but the story is wonderful and keeps you on your toes!! Thank you Diana!!
I love Diana Knightley’s books and thus one didn’t disappoint. I was so into it that I was surprised when it said The End. If you like romance, action, and time travel read Diana’s books.
