She’s always dreamed of a soft life.

They’re determined to provide it for her.

Lucy Andersson-Spring’s twenty-ninth birthday comes with a side helping of a quarter-life crisis. She loves her community, her sewing shop, and her secret social media account featuring Starlight Grove’s cat mayor, but maybe she needs to be more ambitious, more self-sufficient. At least, that’s what the alphas she dated last year kept saying . . . before they cheated on her.

Lucy is determined this year will be a fresh start, but her quest to leave her romantic dreams behind keeps being thwarted. First, a disastrous camping trip leaves her stranded with Wilder, the reserved fire chief. Then, a grumpy businessman named King bursts into her shop with a desperate proposal. And then there’s Leo, the cute florist who brings her bouquets, but never the dinner invitation she hopes for.

Like Lucy, these guys are facing crossroads in their lives, but when their hesitancy in wooing the stunning omega leaves her feeling rejected all over again, they realize they can’t live without her. Determined to win her over, they embark on a journey of self-discovery, complete with a meddlesome cat, mischievous bunny, and bizarrely specific horoscopes, to become a pack worthy of her.

A Pack for Spring is as poignant as it is playful, with themes of found family, self-acceptance, and scorching hot spice, of course! It is a standalone MMFM why choose small town romance. It is part of the Cozyverse shared universe, bringing you cozy omegaverse full of heart, heat, and humor.

Review of advance copy received from Netgalley
January 20, 2026
Once again Emilia Emerson has written an Omegaverse I could not put down! Lucy and her guys built their pack around love and acceptance, which is one of the things I loved most about this book.
I loved the diversity of this pack not just in nationalities (which was interesting and made for fun terms of endearment), but also in upbringing. It showed a different sort of cohesiveness to the relationship that I really appreciated.

If you know anything about me you know I love Omegaverse books, but there is something special about this series. It has a sense of community to it. I love the girl group who is always there for each other no matter what. The meddling Mayor Felix 🐱 always bouncing around making magic happen. And the gossip of the other members of the town. These books really are just a joy to read every time I pick one up!

I received this book as an ARC from NetGalley and this is my honest review.

4.75!
This book really brought smile to my face.
Omg, I loved it! It was romantic, sweet, cozy and fun.

After numerous rejection from overall life, Lucy is ready for a new adventure with her 29th b’day. Even though she hopes for a pack and HEA, she’s also working on herself.
Lucy is also crushing hard on her new neighbour, a shy beta who is also a florist. But when she hits the first obstacle towards her new life, she meets a grumpy, loner and firefighter🧑‍🚒 Wilder. Then comes the Hot shot CEO and city boy (man) King. Now nothing will be the same.

I loved that, despite the circumstances, Lucy is still such a positive and sweet person. She takes care of others and expect nothing for herself. But when the guys enter her life, they cherish and protect her. I loved their equation with each other. All three were strangers who came together for their omega.

Lucy, Ivy, Summer and Olive are soulmates. I adore their friendship so much. Easton was especially hilarious in this book.

The small town charm was superior and like a good Mayor, Felix is ready to bring some drama to Lucy’s life. That adorable, wonderful Cat is the main hero of this book. His matchmaking skills are out of the world and the schemings— he is a master! I didn’t think it can get any more cuter and then I was introduced to Blossom! She and King made me hoot with laughter.

Overall I enjoyed it immensely.

-Cozy Why choose omegaverse.
-Low angst & Fun.
-SmallTown shenanigans.
-Deep friendships and familial bonds.
-The mayor is a clever scheming CAT.
-Recommended.

I received an advance review copy and I’m leaving this review voluntarily.

Except, fate (and maybe Felix) has other plans, and she finds herself colliding with Wilder, the loner Fire Chief, King, a grumpy businessman with an odd proposal, and Leo, the sweet beta florist next door.

Thoughts:
What am I supposed to do with myself after this incredible book?! My love for the Cozyverse truly has no bounds. I’ve been forced to come to the conclusion that every book in this series is my favorite, and much like these incredible omegas, I shall not be forced to choose. That being said, A Pack for Spring is truly SO special and I feel as though I’ll mentally be in Starlight Grove for weeks after this emotional, hilarious, and kindle melting love story.

From page one I was completely enamored by these characters.
1. Leo immediately stole my heart with his kindness and vulnerability, and has officially been inducted into my Beta Hall of Fame. Don’t let his sweet disposition fool you though, he is so naughty and playful, and panty meltingly dominant. I might be unhealthily obsessed with him. His family’s story also made me so emotional because it reminded me of one of my childhood best friends and her family’s experiences as Lebanese-Iraqi immigrants (Love you, Z).
2. Lucy is genuinely so much fun, but has an incredible amount of depth that I enjoyed exploring. Her insecurities from her former relationship, and complications involving her hormonal condition were really relatable. I loved her creativity and open heart, and I’m so satisfied with her character’s journey to self discovery.
3. King was such a wildcard for Lucy and for me, but holy wow, he’s a great alpha in so many ways, and I can’t lie, I’m so pleased with the Daddy kink representation. I love how King is with Lucy and Leo!
4. Wilder, my sweet baby boi. Where do I even start? I feel like I could write sonnets about my love for him and his character development. He was the only character to make me cry, but holy shit, the tears were earned. His story absolutely wrecked me and I’m obsessed with the way he vacillates between melting for Lucy and being feral for her. I can’t get enough of him or their dynamic.
5. Felix was on a whole different level in this book and I ATE IT UP.
6. Blossom, I’d die for you.

The romance in A Pack for Spring is the kind that renews your faith in the existence of something as cosmic as true love. Everything was so intimate, so caring, and so feel good, that I’m brimming with happiness. I can’t stop smiling.

As for the physical intimacy, I had to plead for mercy while reading because my brain, body, and kindle needed relief from the absolutely scorching smut in this book. It was thigh clenching good. I wondered if I, too, had gone into heat.

Lastly, I am so, so proud of Emilia and Eliana. I’m still in awe of them and want to express my heartfelt congratulations. It makes me so happy, and appreciative, that this series is the first trad-published why-choose omegaverse!

Omegaverse readers are going to absolutely freaking love this book, and I cannot recommend this series more!!

My favorite in the cozyverse so far! So many unexpected tropes from this pack. Lucy is the sweetest and I love how she stays true to herself by the end. I love a big boy so wilder was by far my favorite but the whole gang was great.

To say I was excited for this book is an understatement so right off the back big thank you to NetGalley & Putnam publishing for providing me with an ARC to read and review. This is my favorite guilty pleasure series I discovered at the tail end of last year and I’ve been waiting very impatiently for it to come out. So as soon as I got that ARC approval email I ran. And you bet I devoured this book in less than 24 hours. Now even with all that said I do have to admit I was a tad bit disappointed in this one compared to the other 2 books in the series. But I swear I still loved every minute of reading it.

So I won’t beat around the bush my biggest issue I had with this book boils down to one thing: MISCOMMUNICATION. Y’all forewarning I hate this trope with a fiery passion and it’s used excessively in this book. The amount of times I was screaming for any of them to pick up a phone or heck just speak your mind was exhausting. So many unnecessary drama points could’ve been avoided if all four of them would’ve gotten their heads out of their butts and been an adult.

But I digress, even with that going on I still enjoyed getting to know our new pack. I actually loved that the boys didn’t know each other going into their relationship with Lucy. So it made meeting these characters more emotional and charming. The spice of course was excellent as always. And mayor Felix is still the best part of the entire series! I can’t wait to see what mischief he gets up to in the next book.

Overall, I 100% recommend the cozyverse series and I can’t wait to check out book 4.

A Pack for Spring✨🌸🪡

I was so excited to get an ARC from Putnam/Netgally! Especially now that cozyverse has gone TRAD💖

Right off the bat I knew I was going to relate with our girl Lucy. And boy did I!

Lucy is an omega who just turned 29! And although she runs a success sewing shop and creates her own custom clothes she feels the pressures of life and her final year in her twenties weighing down on her. She longs to be loved and cherished but has been burned in the past so she struggles to see her true worth beneath all negativity thrown her way.

But Starlight Grove, Mayor Felix the cat more specifically, wasn’t about to let Lucy believe those negative things for too long. Because the fates brings her two possessive alphas and an adoring beta to build a pack with.

Leo- the head over heels beta who has loved Lucy from he opened his flower shop next door. But he held himself back because he was worried his disability made him unworthy of her.

King- big shot CEO who had no intentions of staying around starlight grove until he falls HARD for Lucy and maybe even the cute florist too😉

Wilder- surly fire chief who prefers to stay secluded in his mountain home but can’t resist Lucy after he rescues her from a dangerous situation. Only pull away because he himself might put her at risk.

🌸 MFMM Omegaverse
🌸 slow burn but still spicy
🌸 found family
🌸 she calls him daddy
🌸 primal play

I definitely recommend this book! While it’s wasn’t my favorite of the series but it’s cute and cozy all the same. There were a few pacing issues that got to me and I’m not a huge fan of miscommunication (or lack of communication 😂) but otherwise it was another fantastic read from Emilia!

I LOVED A Pack for Spring! I feel like each book just gets better and blows the prior one out of the water! Emilia's books are always so special to me and this one was even more so. It was so heartfelt, with so many loving and tender moments shared amongst the pack, amongst the friend group, and their families. Leo and his family, especially, were the source of a lot of my crying.

Not only is this book super romantic, it is also absolutely hilarious. There were so many moments that had me belly laughing!! It really put the com in romcom!

Starlight Grove is a special place and I can't wait for others to experience it once A Pack for Spring is out in April!

*arc review*

ever since i read the first book of the cozyverse ive been frothing at the mouth for the next installment. and its just perfect timing to be approved for an arc of a book ive been dying for during a book slump!!
lucy, our crafty sunshine girl who (thinks) she can be a bit too much finds her pack (finally!!)
i really loved reading her story and it’s so real and funny at the same time to read about someone turning 29 and feel like their life is falling apart or they aren’t doing enough bc truly it does feel like that sometimes in your late 20s (i’ve been informed 27 counts as late 20s…)
as for the pack, i really love that each pack is different, not only in personality but designations and history
by far i think this is my favorite pack and one reason is because they didn’t know each other before lucy or become a pack until they all decided they wanted her
other reason??? i love boyfriends and im on board for any pack where they all have their own relationships
anyways!! grumpy firefighter alpha Wilder, who is terrified of being with an omega or a pack bc he’s convinced he will hurt them somehow due to a medical condition (i just want to wrap him up). then there’s King, out of town new york CEO (and alpha) here on business and Leo, my sweet florist beta who has medical issues as well and uses a cane to get around (i’m sorry it’s hot as hell too)
i loved how all of them met and started courting bc truly, what wild stories for king and wilder meeting lucy????
i cannot wait for my revenge queen summer next!!!

overall: 5/5
spice: 4/5

4.5/5🌷 I absolutely loved this book so much! I love this series so much and something that makes the stories stand out is the connection, laughs, and love I feel from these books. I was so excited to get this arc since I knew that it was going to be a perfect book and something I would love. Lucy and her guys were so good to read about and I loved how much character building I was able to see from each character. They each had their characteristics that I love so much and make this book so amazing. I was immediately invested in their personal growth, along with their growth as a pack. This series is definitely one that you can binge because it’s so cozy and has so many great tropes that I love. Also Blossom and Felix are the absolute cutest. I don’t want to say much since it’s not released yet but definitely if you haven’t already start the series and read this one when it comes out in April💞 Definitely would recommend this book and series!

thank you NetGalley and Putnam for gifting me this e-arc in exchange for an honest review.

Thank you to Putnam and NetGalley for this ARC!

I love a good cozy omegaverse! Lucy is a 29 year old omega with no pack. She’s a small town tailor and clothing designer. She’s been told she’s too much as an omega. Leo, a florist with a crush on Lucy, is a beta and doesn’t think she’d be interested in him. When he finally decides to go for it, 2 other alphas are as well.

Lucy met Wilder while she was on a hike. Wilder has some issues as an alpha and doesn’t think he’s safe for an omega. He rejects her due to this. King is a businessman in town that asks Lucy to go to a gala with him. He’s a workaholic and doesn’t think he can have a relationship.

When all 3 men realize they’ve made a mistake, there’s a lot of groveling to get Lucy to be courted by them. They have to figure out how to be a pack and deal with their own issues.

I enjoyed the bunny blossom and of course the town mayor, a cat named Felix 🐈

A cozy read ; quite long book for a plot that was primarily comprised of miscommunication and insta-love.

Lucy is a quirky millennial type running a sewing spot in a small town. Her friend group was very wholesome but overall I found the amount of time spent with side characters to be a bit overwhelming when there was so much left to get to know of our main characters.

All the love interests were good partners after many many many instances of not talking about things that became breakup worthy issues.

Definitely a lot to enjoy about the general low stakes but fell flat in some areas. There were a lot of storylines that we spent a good amount of time becoming invested in for them to go nowhere in the end.

Overall , if cozy omega-verse is your vibe this would work well.

Thank you NetGalley for the arc!

A Pack For Spring by Emilia Emerson

Okay I’m obsessed! I was recommended this series by a friend, got randomly sent the second book by Putnam and honestly just fell in love with this series! I saw that A Pack for Spring was up for request on NetGalley and I knew I absolutely needed to send in a request and the scream I screamed when I was approved!!

Emilia Emerson does an amazing job of crafting characters that have so much emotional depth that you feel like you are friends with the characters by the end of the book! I was in a really bad reading slump when I got approved and then I managed to finish this book in 2 days!!

If you want to read a book with spice, great communication, and a mischievous cat mayor then this one is for you! And while you’re at it check out the rest of the cozyverse series!

This book really hit it out of the park for me - sweet, romantic, HOT - it was just wonderful. I couldn't put it down!

I've been loving this series for a few months now and I know I'll be devastated when it ends. But for right now, I'm enjoying every moment of it.

For her 29th birthday Lucy is no longer looking for love, she's looking to find herself. After a lot of rejection, she's ready to throw in the towel. Fortunately for her, fate won't let her. Between the sweet beta next door, the life saving fireman, and the dominant CEO, Lucy's world is in for some changes. In addition to the wonderful romantic partners, I love the female friendships in this book (and series). These women all love each other deeply and I love seeing them support each other throughout the entire series.

10/10 this was AMAZING

Thank you so much to Putnam and NetGalley for the eARC!

I totally ate this up from beginning to end. The journey lf self acceptance and healing of old wounds and trauma actually had me tearing up at times and the found family of it all just always is a *chefs kiss* from this series! I’m elated and heartbroken that the next book is the final in the series because it means I get a new story and new characters but it also marks the end of an amazing series and world that these authors created. I loved this book so much and recommend this series to anyone looking for a cozy read!

This was exactly what the series name promises- cozy omegaverse.

I think I might have loved Felix, the cat mayor the most (just kidding...kind of). But I loved all of the characters so much, from our grumpy fire chief Wilder, to our sweet flower store owner Leo who has been down bad for Lucy from the start. And King, our CEO who doesn't plan to stay..until he does. And Lucy- our girl who is looking to find her forever.

This one is a little heavy on the miscommunication but otherwise, it's exactly what the series says- cute and cozy omegaverse.me promises- cozy omegaverse.

This book was very cute and fun. It also had a lot of big emotional moments that had me reaching for my Kleenex, which is the easier way for me to smash the five stars. I love it when a book makes me cry lol. This series is great and I can’t wait to read the next book also!

So cozy and sweet! Characters were well defined and glad the guys worked through their idiocy quickly. Loved that the kink was amped up in this one.

First time they were all together was the only weird spot for me, seemed quick and oh so vanilla. I usually don't like when the MM relationship was pushed off to the side but it really made sense with this storyline!

Thanks to the author for the ARC!

Tropes: Omegaverse, Why Choose, One Night Stand to Something More, Cat Mayor, Small Coastal Town, Big City Guy Small Town Girl, Hurt/Comfort, Healing from Past Relationships, Groveling, Possessive MMCs,

Spice: MFMM, high spice, group activities, going through a heat, primal, DD/LG

FMC
Lucy - Starlight Grove’s resident seamstress and fashion designer; feels like she’s behind on life; believes in signs from the universe; recovering from a toxic breakup; yearns to be loved and adored; incredibly caring and thoughtful; not a morning person

MMCs
Leo - beta florist who used to in ocean rescue; uses a cane due to osteoarthritis in his knee; coming to terms with his chronic condition and new life; has a crush on Lucy but doesn’t think he deserves her; incredibly sweet; close to his family who all immigrated from Iran; grows his own flowers

Wilder - alpha mountain man; firehouse chief who likes his solitude; meets Lucy while she’s sliding down a mountain in the pouring rain; thinks he’s a danger to others because of a medical condition; fiercely protective; yearns for a normal life full of love

King - alpha CEO business man; only in town for a short while; has lived his life to please his parents and now they’re gone; isn’t sure if he’s ready to live for himself or what that even looks like; used to a be an ocean conservationist;

Thoughts
Let me start by saying I have been eagerly anticipating this book since A Pack for Winter released in December 2024, so this has been a long time coming! During that time, I’ve reread and listened to the audio of the first two books countless times (no, seriously, I stopped keeping track because it was embarrassing). But Starlight Grove was my safe space and the world is on fire, so you can’t blame me. This is all to say, I was worried I had built up my expectations too high for this book and that I would be quietly disappointed. I’ve never been happier to be proven wrong, because somehow Emilia Emerson has done it again (and honestly, I should have never doubted her in the first place) and A Pack for Spring is a romantic masterpiece of a story.

Lucy is relatable from page 1 ("I fanned my hands aggressively in front of my face to dry the tears welling up in my eyes. My jaw clenched. This was ridiculous. I was about to turn twenty- nine, not ninety- nine. My life was not over.”) and her story just gets better from there. I fell in love with her so easily, I was 50% of the way through before realizing it was 2 o’clock in the morning and I had to be up for work in 6 hours. You best believe I packed my Kobo and brought it with me!

Except for one MMC that Felix hinted at during the end of A Pack for Winter, I had no idea what to expect for the others, and goodness, I’m fanning myself just remembering the heat between them. Each MMC was so uniquely themselves, it was easy to picture them and keep track of them throughout the story. I was immediately invested in their personal growth, along with their growth as a pack.

Don’t even get me started on the rest of the town! The side characters are always a joy to hear from, the festivals continue to amaze, and Felix will forever reign supreme. The friendship between Olive, Ivy, Summer, and Lucy continued to be the heart of the story, adding just enough to feel their presence without overshadowing Lucy’s journey. The town, the friendships, the love? It doesn’t get better than this.

Some of My Favorite SFW Quotes
-"I’ll hold your hand as you jump. Keep you safe.”
-I’d gotten used to Felix randomly showing up, taste-testing new shipments of roses, and staring judgmentally at any man who came in and didn’t choose the largest size bouquet to purchase.
-“Eh." Marisol shrugged. "Our taxes just fund billionaires and genocide. Good for him for taking a stand for social justice.”
-I want to hear him call me sweetheart for the rest of my life.
-I wanted that again, for her voice to form the soundtrack of my life.
-Nothing in my life could compare to the satisfaction I felt when I made Lucy happy.

🌸 A Pack For Spring 🌸

The next installment in the Cozyverse is here! A Pack for Spring by the ever lovely Emilia Emerson is a continuation of her series with Eliana Lee. Like the rest of the series, A Pack for Spring is also an Omegaverse romance set in the small ocean-side town of Starlight Grove. We are welcomed back by many of the characters from the previous books and our lovely feline mayor, Felix.

Lucy is our main girly in this novel, and while she loves her store Spring in Your Stitch, she wants more in her life than just work. That being said, she hasn’t had the best of luck with relationships in the past. This leads Lucy to have some very heavy insecurities about herself and finding a pack one day. Those same insecurities start to bleed into other parts of her day to day life like her relationships with her parents and her friends. Hoping the new year (her last year of her 20’s) will bring her a fresh start, Lucy starts her year determined to “find” herself. This leads her to Leo, Wilder and King, a beta and two alpha’s that will forever change her life.

Leo is the brother of a close friend, and Lucy has had a crush on him for years, but no matter what she does, Leo doesn’t seem to notice her affection. Or does he? Leo has his own reasons for not taking a risk and asking Lucy out, however when he finally takes his chance, he finds that he isn't the only one vying for her attention. Wilder. Starlight Grove’s Fire Chief who saves Lucy from falling off the side of the mountain when her hiking trip gets interrupted by a storm. Their attraction is fire hot, and Lucy thinks she has finally found an alpha that may want to be with her. Alas when Wilder returns her to her shop, without asking her out or even asking her number, her hopes are once again destroyed. And finally King, the hot-shot CEO from the city who arrives at Spring in Your Stitch for an emergency tux fitting. King convinces Lucy to attend a charity Gala with him and “buy” him from the auction so he won't have to go on a random date with a stranger. Lucy agrees and goes with him, together they spend an amazing night together. 🥵 But again, he leaves Lucy high and dry. When Lucy then invites the guys to a craft night, they ghost her. At this point, Lucy is defeated, her insecurities are feeding into her doubts of ever finding a pack. When the guys finally come to their senses, they have to convince Lucy that they want her and their newly founded Pack as well.

Lucy’s story is one for the books. I freaking loved it! Leo, King and Wilder make the best pack for our Lucy, even if they put her through the ringer. Each of the guys have their own issues to work through before coming to Lucy, and some that have to work through with her and the Pack’s help. That though made the best reading. Leo and Wilder with the medical stuff, King with his job and lets not forget Lucy and her own insecurities. Each let fear guide them, but thankfully they didn’t let fear control them. I wish they did better with their communication, but as far as a slow burn romance goes, I can’t complain. Oh and girly’s, the spice in this one is sppiiiiccccy! ❤️‍🔥There is so much more I want to share, but no spoilers for this girly.

3.25 ⭐️ I don't think I can read any other books by this author...
Thank you so much Net Galley for the eARC!*

This book felt so much more like book 1 than book 2 did, I'm convinced it's because they have the same author. This series is divided into four books, written by two different authors and apparently, I don't enjoy the vibes this author puts into her books. I have only ever read one other Emilia Emerson book, which was book 1 in this series, and pretty much the same issues I had with that one, I have with this one too.

My biggest critique with book one is that the alphas didn't know how to not infantilize their omega. The exact same situations happen right here, leaving me so grossed out every time they felt the need to "teach her" through spankings and very obvious Dom/sub dynamics that just are never discussed or talked about, as if it's just normal or something that should be accepted just like that. It also has one of the worst tropes in the world (imo) which is the Age Gap Daddy trope. barf A guy in his 40s going full on "Behave for Daddy" on a 20-something girl. It raises every single alert, red-flag, however you want to call it. I legit had to stop reading during Lucy and King's first explicit scene because the way he treated her without prior consent or conversation was so incredibly abusive and over the line that it felt like dubious consent at best. It is so ok to enjoy this kind of things, but what is NEVER ok is for you to just start hitting someone while having s*x and then being like "no, you were just being a brat and I had to teach you a lesson on how to behave for Daddy". Legit, that's probably something I could have taken verbatim from this book. It isn't and I won't be posting any real quotes since this is an eARC and the book is not out yet. But, omg, it was so aggravating and ugh. I hate it. Bad BDSM rep a big pet peeve of mine.

My favourite part of this book was Leo. And Blossom, but like duh. Leo's character brought so much heart and soul into this story, and it desperately needed it. Wilder was up there, and I found myself really endeared to him by the end of the story. King, too, but the energy he brings to the smutty scenes is so incredibly off-putting to me that I just can't say I enjoyed him much. Lucy, the FMC, is honestly just ok. She's very stereotypical in every way, and although I can appreciate what the author was trying to do here, the whole hyper-feminine, center of attention but making it everyone else's problem got kind of old fast. Her trouble with her family didn't really sit right with me, as valid as her feelings are.

Overall, the book is not bad if you are looking for an alphahole-packed omegaverse with sunshiny themes that ultimately just about reaches HEA status. But like, at what cost, you know?

Thank you so much to Putnam and NetGalley for an ARC in return for an honest review!

4,5 stars - this series and world just makes me so happy, I lovvvvve it

Returning to Starlight Grove, with its very respectable cat mayor Felix and its loveable human inhabitants, always feels like returning to a safe and warm home. The setting is quirky, fun and filled with acceptance and loving community. The friend group of the female main character also especially stands out as loyal, loving and distinct, without the other girls stealing the spotlight from the focus of this specific book. It’s so perfect for the gentle, honest and patient explorations of mental and physical health, and the journey of finding your place in the world (and what that might look like for you), that Emilia Emerson excels at.

Lucy is SO sweet, and I love how emotional and soft she is. Her journey in the book was so lovely to read, and I love that her softness never had to change. I love seeing characters being given the space to live according to their own ambitions, also when they aren’t necessarily reaching for the highest stars.
And Lucy’s fun dynamic with the animals was such a highlight for me, they really bring such a brightness to the story in the midst of the more emotional parts.

The male main characters in this book were wonderful. I really enjoyed getting to know them all and seeing them learn how to work together as a pack. I wish we had gotten to explore their stories and relationships with each other even more, and the pack as a whole once it formed and settled down. Honestly, this book could’ve easily been double the length and I would’ve devoured it all.
The pack fits so well together, with all their quirks and needs, and I love how they take care of each other and actively put in effort to support each other. They were all also so much kinkier than I expected, which was a delightful spicy surprise amongst all the sweetness!
I do wish we had gotten more detailed descriptions of all the guys early on, just for my own little theatre of the mind, but that was much helped by the art the author posts on her social media (which I am obsessed with and fuels my hype SO much).

I can’t wait to see what this series brings next, or to return to Starlight Grove!

Highly highly recommend for lovers of why choose omegaverse on the sweeter more cutesy side of things, fun and colourful small towns with meddling and diverse inhabitants, adorable scheming animals, mental + physical health rep (including mobility aids), kink, sweet omega FMCs who are learning what they’re worth and MMCs who range from broody protector alphas to sunshiney nourishing betas.

Thank you for this ARC through NegGalley, Putnam and Emilia Emmerson!

I’m a long-time, experienced reader of the Omegaverse. I know firsthand that this subgenre, in whatever format, can have a huge learning curve; yet Emilia Emmerson broke down the genre into interesting, digestible bits right from the start in A Pack for Spring. Omegaverse has so many different forms, nuances, and things each author can choose to use that having a clear explanation of “here is my world” in a traditional setting works incredibly well for readers who may not run into this because they’ve previously read fanfic or are part of the Omegaverse in the Fujoshi community. (Or people in those other communities, but haven’t dipped their toes in yet. Welcome!)

Lucy, our Omega Heroine, discusses some really tough stuff (just because it’s cozy doesn’t mean there are still problems and angst). Emmerson expertly shows the lonely, isolating feeling of grieving the fact that you’re not where you thought you’d be in life by now (29) and how not having the language to express that properly can further these feelings and keep you from healing/creating new dreams. This is so relatable, because I (29) have recently been able to process and grieve the idea that every childhood dream I had previously is going to look different (or not happen at all), and that grief really sucks. I was so pleasantly surprised to see this on the page of something cozy, where I could connect with Lucy while knowing that under the “cozy” subgenre, nothing super terrible would happen to her or trigger me in a way that felt like something I wasn’t expecting.

The other character I connected to the most was Leo (sorry King and Wilder 🤷‍♀️). I’m chronically ill, and I find it difficult for people to write a disabled character without injecting toxic positivity into it or just giving off the idea that you can “push through the pain and it will be fine,” and the author then doesn’t give the character any consequences, completely undermining the reality of the character’s disability. Emerson makes sure that this doesn’t happen with Leo, and I couldn’t be happier. The self-loathing, internalized ableism, is something that a lot of us deal with in the community, so to see an accurate representation of this, while, once again, READING A COZY LOW-ANGST STORY feels amazing.

I’m not going to give away plot points, but I loved every moment of my first Cozyverse book. From Felix’s shenanigans, Harry’s Snickers Salad (which I now have to make, how dare you, it’s not holiday salad season!), the grand theft golf cart, to the unhinged usage of rock climbing harnesses, this book will keep you entertained and give the cozy vibe with a great underlying story throughout.

This is a five-star read from me, and I will probably be shouting from the rooftops about the other Cozyverse books here soon (although I kinda want to read them during each corresponding season so I can really savor the series ☺️).

I received a Pack for Spring as an ARC (Which let’s be real, I groveled for) but I’m very glad I got to read this. I absolutely adore this series. An Omegaverse wouldn’t necessarily be my first choice, but I was introduced to this series when I was asked to moderate a panel. I absolutely love the duality between this very cozy small-town romance and the very sex forward and sex positive Omegaverse.

A Pack for Spring, in particular, had a lot of relationship building, which made it a slower burn than the first two in the series (A Pack for Autum and A Pack for Winter). At the start of the book, no one knew each other (besides a passing acquaintance between Lucy and Leo) and there wasn’t an obvious entry point to quickly create the pack. I think this book was up to the task of pairing Lucy with each of her three guys (Leo, King, and Wilder), creating a coherent pack between the 3 guys and another separate relationship between Leo and King.

I think my big five highlights (this is a little spoiler-y) where as follows:

1. Wilder having to deal with his own medical diagnosis which complicated his relationship with both Lucy and the pack.
2. King and Leo’s relationship above and beyond being packmates. This didn’t hit towards the end, but when it hit, it hit. I would love more of these two together specifically.
3. Lucy’s career trajectory. This did a really good job keeping her in a her beloved small town, while rally validating her career in a really nice subversion to the typical small town hallmark Christmas trope.
4. Felix as Mayor. In each book, Felix seems to be more and more the Mayor than Stanley and I am totally here for this
5. The Horoscopes in the newspaper. My favorite was the prophecy on stealing golf carts.

Finally, from a feminist reads romance take, I really like this Lucy was this very soft, very good girl type that likes sex and doesn’t feel shame around it. I think the duality of these books having this very charming small town and an FMC who literally adopts a tiny bunny but also that she enjoys full on BDSM, really does a good job dismantling purity culture. There is no morality around the act of sex, which allows the books to focus on pleasure and consent. I think these are a really refreshing take on sex and I can’t wait for the next in the series.

4.5 stars rounded up.

I absolutely love this cozy, small town, omegaverse series!!!!

This one is book 3 but each book can be read as a standalone if you want (but you should definitely read them all!!!)

Being back in Star Grove with all its zany and heartfelt characters was like curling up with a best friend you haven't seen in a few months. My favorite thing with this series is easily the core four girls and each book their connection just grows and grows. I love learning more about each in their own book and getting more into their personalities. Their friendship really is the kind of girl gang I wish I would have had in my 20s! Besides the friendship, the amazing multicultural and disability representation the flows throughout the series is just an absolute dream for me.

A Pack for Spring is Lucy's books and from the moment we met her in A Pack for Autumn, I knew I was going to love her story!!! She's an independent daughter who is trying to meet expectations and pressures (from her parents, from society, life, and herself). Struggling with adhd, a diagnosis that contributes high hormonal levels, and really just trying to find her purpose in life, she is in desperate need for someone (or three) to dote on her hand and foot!

I love that her three guys--Wilder, King, and Leo--weren't a pack before meeting her. Getting to see the connections grow between the guys, both sexual and friendship wise, was a great part of the story. The mix of sunshine and broody/grumpy personalities blended so well and made each of them fit into a perfect puzzle of a pack. I don't think I can pick a favorite but my heart really gravitated towards Leo's green flag friendliness, Wilder's wild love, and King's possessive & dominate nature.

Overall, this is another cozy omegaverse I definitely recommend and one I'll definitely be buying a trophy copy of for my bookshelf! If you love omegaverse, small town romances, slow burns but www.instagram.com/bookishvista attraction, great friendships, mental health rep, disability rep, great multicultural characters, romcom with emotional moments, characters growing their self-love, possessive love, and a cat who is the town mayor and plays cupid, you should definitely check this one out!

My one and only wish, a slightly less slow burn.

Thank you Putnam and Emilia Emerson for the eARC. Forever grateful to be chosen to read one of my most anticipated reads early <3

A Pack for Spring continues the absolutely lovely cozy, omegaverse vibes that Emilia and Eliana have created in this series. I've enjoyed getting to know the omegas and their packs, and I loved everything about Lucy! Getting to visit Starlight Grove is always a treat and I love how much this world has expanded with this one. You get to visit old friends and meet new ones (you can read this as a standalone, but just go ahead and read the other two - you won't regret it!!).

This one has those hurt/comfort vibes and characters who are dealing with issues and are looking to find the place they belong most with the people they love. Lucy, Wilder, King, and Leo were so much fun as characters, gave me all the best emotions, and I was so attached to wanting them to get their happily ever after. The angst and the romance were a perfect blend that had my heart in a hold. And of course, the spice in this one was SPICY!!

We get to experience Lucy building her pack with three individuals who don't (really) know one another and it was an element that kept me engaged and wanting to see how everything played out. However, I do think that there was something missing where in the end it still felt a bit like the pack wasn't as cohesive as it could have been and it almost felt like separate relationships (two and one) versus the entire pack coming together. I think separate relationships are fine in omegaverse (and I enjoy them!) but there still needs to be that element of a full 'pack' and I still didn't get that feeling by the end of the story. The ending also felt a bit rushed and the characters arcs not as explored or fleshed out (I loved loved loved Wilder, but for someone with literally no experience - he came off as someone with a whole lot of experience).

I still loved the book, it's one that I would recommend to my fellow omegaverse lovers - especially when you need those cozy, romantic vibes with lovable characters who can steal your heart.

This is a series I will of course continue to read and I can't wait for the final installment!

I received an eARC of this book, but any reviews are entirely my own. Thank you to Netgalley, Emilia, and Putnam for the copy.

It was a blessing to receive an ARC of this and get to read it early. Lucy has been my favorite since the beginning so getting to finally read her story was amazing. I love all of her guys and the sweetness of this book so much.

I dooo have thoughts I need to talk about:
1.) King (unless I somehow missed it) never gets a full physical description. I think the most we get is that he’s tan and has dark hair.
2.) King and Leo’s relationship doesn’t really meet what their characters are described as IMO. King is one of those big strong alphas who wants to take care of Leo, so honestly King being a bottom when he has the Daddy dynamic with Lucy didn’t make sense. King doesn’t give switch vibes at all and Leo is also such a brat that it would make so much more sense for him to teasingly call King Daddy. King didn’t spank Leo ONCE 😤.
3.) speaking of King, we never really circle back to the BDSM dynamic which I think is a bit of a shame. The submissive side of Lucy and healing her trauma through that feels so important to her story but we kinda just move on.
4.) Wilder’s HA and Lucy’s HO diagnoses are not utilized enough. Wilder (while I don’t want him to hurt Lucy) should’ve had more trouble and I do think he and King should’ve butted heads a LOT more especially given how protective King is as well. Wilder is accepted back a little too easily and the resolution of the HA conflict was a bit lackluster. Wilders POV when he and Lucy were at the cabin after he rescued her was so incredibly unique and interesting, but he never talked about that struggle or worked through it, he was just told by the doctor that well actually it’s fine. We need more Wilder POV.

There are so many things I love about this book. Leo’s character was fleshed out and done so beautifully, as was Lucy’s. I thought I’d be upset when she inevitably didn’t accept the internship but it did make sense why she didn’t. The whole astrology aspect was done really cutely though I feel like some of the horoscopes were inconsistent, where it would imply Lucy is a Taurus and not a Pisces even tho most of the horoscopes were for Pisces.

Overall, I really enjoyed this book and cannot wait for the next one. I got to read Winter and Spring back to back so waiting for Summer is about to feel like torture.

Y'all know I am head over heels in love with the Cozyverse created by @emiliaemersonauthor and @elianaleewrites so when I got approved for the ARC, I freaked out!

I immediately started reading and I am obsessed with Lucy and her pack!

Lucy is a sweet omega who owns a seamstress shop in the small town of Starlight Grove. She just turned 29 and is struggling with feeling lost and lonely. She hasn't had much luck in the love department but that might be about to change!

Leo is a beta with a golden retriever personality and a big crush on the seamstress next door to his florist shop. He is struggling with his new normal after a diagnosis left him with needing to use a mobility aid. Will he finally make his move on the girl next door?

Wilder is a grumpy mountain recluse who also happens to be Starlight Grove's fire chief. When a stormy rescue leads a beautiful omega into his solitary world, his life is flipped upside down. Can he work through his demons in order to finally get the love and pack he always wanted but never thought he could have?

And last but not least, King, also known as Daddy. He's a big city CEO currently working a deal in the small coastal town. Little does he know, his perfect omega and a sexy beta are about to make him rethink everything about his life and what he truly wants.

I adored everything about this story! The romance, the humor, the quirky townspeople, the adorable animals, the friendships, and the emotional moments.

And the SPICE!! Hot damn! This one has some of my absolute favorite kinks including c*ckwarming, primal play, daddy dom and knotting 🥵🔥

If y'all haven't started the Cozyverse, bump it to the top of your TBR!

I just love these cozy Why Choose Omegaverse beauties!

Lucy Andersson-Spring just turned 29, and she's in a bit of a crisis. She feels like she hasn't really achieved all of her big fashion dreams, even though she runs her own successful tailoring business that she loves, in the small town she loves.

She has a big crush on her friend Leo, who owns the flower shop next door to hers. She also gets rescued on an ill-fated camping trip by the grumpy fire captain, Wilder. And, King, a NYC CEO, makes a big impression when he comes in to the shop for a tux, and leaves with Lucy as his date for a charity auction. What's a girl to do with so many options?? Choose them all, of course!

Lucy creates unique and meaningful bonds with all her guys, while the guys work hard to become a pack that's worthy of Lucy. On the way, an attraction becomes clear between Leo & King as well, which just adds to everyone's joy. All 4 of our main characters are working through something in their lives, and they are all coming together at the perfect time.

Helping along the way, are Lucy's 3 fellow Omega besties, who are using their small town newspaper's horoscope section to get the guys to perform tasks around town in Lucy's honor. It makes for some very funny moments, and of course the cat mayor, Felix, is always about, causing trouble. Plus, this time, he has a new bunny sidekick!

I really love the way this series varies between, sweet, steamy, angsty, and heartfelt moments. I got everything I could've wanted out of this story, and I adore this small town, and this group of friends. I'm looking forward to finally getting Summer's story soon!!

I received an advanced copy of this book from the publisher. This review is my personal opinion, voluntarily given.

💖 Ohmylanta y’all! This is hands down my new favorite book in the Cozyverse series! Everything about this omegaverse was SO refreshing!

We have strong women & even stronger friendships. We have a FMC that has curated her own online presence & is running her own business. She’s a little bruised in the relationship department, but so deserving of love. AND we have 3 men that EACH adore her so much.

My favorite thing about this book is how Lucy built a relationship with each guy separately before they eventually move into a courting/pack dynamic. As an omega she needs a pack and I loved watching her bring these 3 very different guys together through pure love!

Lucy struggled with thoughts of never being enough and her guys were ready to prove just how much they needed every part of who she was.

“You are my everything.”

We also get to see two of our guys build a sweet (and SPICY) relationship together.

her. “A little omega, all alone in the forest. Whatever will I do with my prize?”

I can’t pick a favorite guy because I seriously loved each one of them for different reasons! Leo is the sunshine beta, King is the Daddy Dom alpha, and Wilder is the alpha with the biggest protector heart. The dynamics within the pack are phenomenal.

“You’re mine, forever.”
“Forever.”

Lucy’s fellow omegas & the town put the guys through a groveling marathon that had me cracking up. 😆

As always, the star character in the Cozyverse series is Mayor Felix, an adorable & sassy, meddling cat! I loved seeing how he used his feline wiles to push this pack together. We also get a bonus furbaby in this book that is going to absolutely melt your heart! 🐰🍓💖

This book was everything and I can’t wait for more people to read it so we can yap about how much we loved it together! 🥹🫶🏼
