I want to say I would have finished this is one setting, but I started it too late and responsibilities 🙄 however, this was gold. I’m giving it a 4.9 (I’ll explain the .1 down below.)

This was comedic and spicy and well written. Definitely love the authors style and how they tell a story, only thing I didn’t care for that kind of irked me was sentences like “I will. I am not.” Etc. I’ll and I’m and any variation of things like that flow better for me in dialogue. I know that’s not any reason to lower a rating so that’s why the five stars. It’s a creative choice, just because it bothers me doesn’t mean the dialogue is bad. It was actually quite funny and sharp.

Anyway, back to this. I’d love to see more from this world. It’s intriguing and holds all the attention.

My husband came home mid-spice scene and I ended up telling him about the book and spent a good thirty minutes trying to compose myself 😅🫣 also kind of sad we didn’t get more from Ronan… but I also read a lot of why choose so that’s a me problem.

OH. EM. GEEEEE!!!

This book is truly one of the greatest books I’ve read. From the very first paragraph I was HOOKED! I had all the emotions! I felt rage, sadness, heartbreak. I laughed SO hard, cheered, felt proud and got HOT more than a few times 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️
The FMC is a spunky, smart- mouthed, headstrong woman. She has the worst day anyone could suffer through. After losing her home in a house fire, she’s dreadfully heading to her not to loving parents house when she needs to make a stop. At the stop she hears something that changes her life completely.

MMC and his best friend are everything dark romance girls want, and so much more. They’re delicious. They’re vicious. They’re loving. They’re protective. They check all the boxes.

The writing is incredible, the FMC is a complete bad ass, and a hot MMC with an equally as hot best friend! I couldn’t ask for a better read. The way I was able to immerse myself into this book, I’ve never been able to do it like I did with this one!! 🤍🤍 absolutely loved this book Bree!

I finished this book in one sitting it was so good, it was like a dark romcom & I loved it so much ! Asher was amaaazing & raelyn was the baddest bitch . She shocked me at so many points in the book and I was cheering her on . Cutting dicks off became her thing IYKYK 🤣🤣🤣

Ronan was such a fun added in character & my oh my was that 3 way not the hottest fucking thing. And Rae’s dream come true 😏🤤

Ronan and Mya need to get a book because I can see it 😏🫣 give us more !!!

fun and unexpected

The story starts straight off the intro and keeps developing. Loved this strong FMC and how she dealt with pretty much everything. The two MMCs were charming and the banter was super fun. The spice was nice and intermingled throughout the plot. Great standalone read.

This book is giving Dark Rom Com. Great banter, spicy, touch her and die! They take down human traffickers and some of them definitley get what they deserve. Its giving Lights Out or Ravenous Love Trilogy Vibes and there is a secret spicy scene 😏🔥 I loved every second of this book.

Wow! For your first book Bree, this is written really well. Not to give away spoiler alerts or anything, but some of those scenes were so spicy. I love that she supports his extracurricular activities. 😉 I love that he wants to make all of her fantasies come true. I really liked the storytelling and that this isn’t just a smut book. I really liked the end that she was the one to save the day. And her nickname at the end is pretty funny ( Chopper ) 🔪

This is very much a touch her and you die type of book which are my favorite. This book had me blushing and laughing.

I would say definitely check your trigger warnings, but there’s a really good book and I can’t wait to see what else you have in store!

LOVED this book!! It was a 6 star read, but there is a part in here that made me deeply uncomfortable, and I had to skip over it, then it's brought up a few times, which made me uncomfortable all over again. But, that's just personal preference for me. It does make me iffy about the next couple though. My Bestie and I share everything (like probably to a gross extent) but THAT?!?! Nope!! If she's been there, I won't be. Ever.
Anyway, this is hilarious, perfectly executed, passionate, spicy, and so much fun!!!! The FMC is the hero and she's such a badass. There is NOTHING better than a strong, confident QUEEN that handles business. And a man that loves that about her?? PERFECTION!! Highly recommend to anyone that loves a spicy, dark romcom.
And this is a debut?!?! WHAT?!?! Bree's talent shines like a diamond!!

Abducted Heart is one of those books that pulls you in and refuses to let go.

From the beginning, I felt an immediate connection to the FMC her emotions were written so authentically that it felt personal. Her journey, her struggles, and her resilience made it impossible not to root for her. Bree Jones did an incredible job making her feel real, layered, and emotionally raw.

The story itself is intense, gripping, and completely binge worthy. I kept telling myself “just one more chapter,” and suddenly hours had passed. The tension and emotional depth kept me locked in the entire time, and I honestly couldn’t stop thinking about it even after finishing.

This book perfectly embodies what so many readers on BookTok love emotionally charged, addictive, and unforgettable. If you’re looking for a romance that will hook you, wreck you (in the best way), and stay with you long after the last page, Abducted Heart is absolutely worth the read.

Imagine being a dark romance girly and one day the universe actually fulfills your fantasy. This was Rae's story. She's this fierce firecracker that ends up impressing her captor, Ash. She gave him hell, and he gave her his heart ❤️. Watching him become so protective over her? The “she’s mine” energy had me laid back, kicking my feet. If I could rate the spice level it was DEFINITELY at a 5 🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶 but it didn't take away from the story at all. I felt the emotions, I laughed out loud, and overall this was an AMAZING time that I didn't want to let go of. 🤧Rae mentioned her spirit animal being a phoenix and i wanted to highlight because watching her fight, endure, and rise from everything she went through was touching. Her strength stayed with me. The character development was chef’s kiss, I adored all the main characters, and I lowkey wanted to join their little found family

So, after drowning her sorrows in coffee, she makes a pit stop by a random farm. Naturally, she hears a cry for help and, because she’s a magnet for trouble, she investigates. This leads her to a barn where she finds Asher, a tall, handsome hitman who is basically every book lover's dream.

This dark romance is packed with hilarious, witty dialogue. Rae's internal monologue had me cackling. She’s a "fuck around and find out" kind of woman who doesn't need a man to save her. If you love a fierce heroine and a morally grey hero, you have to read this.
