A cursed plant, a witch, and a gorgon walk into a bar.
If only their lives were so simple.
When Andromeda inherits a manor house from her late aunt, she’s pleasantly surprised to find it’s the perfect sanctuary for her green witch self. The manor is covered in an ever-green ivy, the backyard was green as far as her eyes could see, and there’s a garden that makes her heart sing. The last thing she expects to find in her new happy place is a woman in the cellar tethered by the roots of the ivy clinging to the outside of her new house. With the help of her best friend, Kira, Andromeda is certain they can break the curse holding the woman prisoner.
But breaking the curse has dire consequences on the paranormal society of their small town when a ripple sends a call sign to the nearby band of hunters who have been itching to put an end to all paranormal beings.
Between blossoming love interests, healing trauma, and learning how to live in modern times, will the ladies be strong enough to fight them off? Or will their life forces wither away like long forgotten plants?
Absolutely enjoyed the plot for this story, there was plenty to build on and explore but for me, the ending felt very rushed and extremely chaotic. The relationship between Andi, Kira, Hedera and the wolves gave a very found family feel. They all had previous family issues so them forming their own family was great. There was lots of spice and aside from the slow burn mentions between Andi and Kira, it was pretty fast burn. I was definitely NOT expecting the chaotic, nail biting ending and was in complete shock with the conclusion of the story. I was given a free copy of this book and am willingly leaving this review. I recommend this book to anyone looking for a fast paced, fast burn, FFMC story.

Wined & Vined is the first book by Gina Hejtmanek that I've read. I truly enjoyed the story. Andi, Kira and Hedera are all amazing women who would do whatever it takes to take care of each other and the rest of their friends. Brent and his pack are so sweet and caring. I definitely recommend reading this book. I myself will be getting a physical copy to add to my library as well as checking out some of Gina's other works.
Looking for Magical October book? Well, you've found it. This book has all the magical beings, spells and romance you need. This is a FFF romance so steer clear if that isn't your thing but if you've got an open mind, then hop in! Andi inherits a home from her aunt and it sends her and her best friends on an adventure in loyalty, love and self acceptance. I feel like the ending wrapped up way too fast and I could have used another chapter to process but the ending was good and I am very thankful I was able to read this one!
This book, although outside my usual genre, was an enjoyable read overall. It took me a while to get into it, but I finished the last half in just one afternoon. The story was intriguing and well-written. The ending felt a bit rushed, but I still enjoyed it and was pleasantly surprised by the unexpected twist! Thank you Gina for the ARC!
Perfect read for October! It included some of my favorite kids of characters, including witches, werewolves, vampires, and more. Every character brought something new to the table and I loved this story of found family. Just wait until you read about all the things the cursed plant can do!
This is the perfect books for some fall witchy vibes! The found family vibes will always be my favorite and you find that here for sure! It’s fast paced and fun and the ending was different than I predicted! The cover art is also adorable!
This one wasn't for me. It started strong but around the halfway point I felt like there was just a little bit too much going on with the plot. The third love interest came in really fast, considering the first two had been dancing around each other for years.
This book was so cute! I love the witches and werewolves! I absolutely loved all the POVs! It was definitely a roller coaster of a ride! I absolutely loved it and the ending was so perfect!!
Good story line, great spice, the main characters were delightful! The pacing seemed a bit off towards the end, felt rushed but nothing was left hanging so that's a plus.
This was actually my second read through of Wined & Vined as I also beta read for Gina Hejtmanek. I absolutely loved this book back then and like a fine wine, it got me even better with age!
The way the story flowed and really brought you into their world blew me away. I loved the LGBTQ inclusivity and the character development was exactly what you’d hope for. There’s romance, mystery, and action all in this amazing story of standing up for what’s right and finding your loves in front of your face.
I highly recommend this book be added to your TBR as I am so jealous of everyone that gets to read it for the first time.
