Rate this book
A spunky redheaded heroine, a conniving wolf, a timely woodsman, and a sweet grandmother cross paths once again in this witty rendition of one of Europe's greatest folktales ever told. Art Lande's music adds just the right balance of humor and suspense. Full-color book.

This version of Red Riding Hood is like the traditional story that we have all heard. Little Red is heading to her grandmother's house because she has fallen ill. A pesky wolf gets her to leave the path and the wolf goes to the grandmother's house before Little Red. When Little Red gets there, she notices that the door is open. The wolf ate Grandmother and then eats Little Red. A lumberjack who met Little Red on the path notices that there is an open door to a cottage and goes in to look. He sees the wolf with a huge stomach sleeping. He cuts the wolf open and saves Little Red and her grandmother. They return to Little Red's house and tell her mother everything. The illustrations in this story are awesome but I wish there was something a little more original in the story.

This is the same story that has been told before. Red Riding Hood is bringing treats to her sick grandmother, but strays from the path which leads to her and her grandmother getting eaten by a wolf. Overall, the story was well told and the pictures were great. However, I wish there was a twist. If you are looking for the true traditional story of Red Riding Hood, this is a good book.

This story is just the traditional Red Riding Hood we have all read before. I wish there was a twist to go along with it. Overall, it was a good story and I think children would enjoy it.

"Red Riding Hood" is apart of Rabbit Ears Storybook Classics and is probably the most dramatic one to date. Meg Ryan is the narrator of this story and she brings intensity and humor to this story as she narrates with a tender tone. She brilliantly gives the Wolf a French accent, making the story extremely creative. Art Lande's music is old fashioned yet sweet and tender and he makes the music extremely dramatic when Red visits the wolf in the bed. Laszlo Kubinyi's illustrations are beautiful, especially of Red herself.

"Red Riding Hood" is surely a classic story that children will read over and over again for many years. Although, there are some scary parts in this tale such as the infamous scene with the Wolf dress up as Granny and trying to trick Red into thinking he is her grandmother. Check out the whole Rabbit Ears series, they are full of good celebrity narrators and good music to keep the children entertain.

Red went to visit her sick old grandmother and ran into the wolf. The wolf got Red to pick some wildflowers for Granny then he went and ate her in one bite. He waited for Red and did the same to her when a man came walking through and noticed the open door with a wolf in the bed. He cut open the wolf to find both Red and Granny safe. He filled the wolf full of rocks and Red never walked in the forrest alone again.

This book is about a little girl who is going to deliver food to her sickly grandma. On the way over a wolf spots her and wants to eat her and what is in her basket. He goes to her grandmas house and eats the grandma before she gets there. He acts as the grandma and a woodsman comes along and gets the grandma out of the wolf. They live happily ever after.

This was a very traditional version of little red riding hood. Red is sent to her grandmothers house to go and give goodies. She sees a wolf and does not listen to her mothers requests for her to stay on the path. She veers from it and the typical ending occurs
