The Devlin magic can bring your heart’s desire - but at what cost?
Mary Devlin accepted her fate years ago, to serve Slanaitheoir, the powerful demon and lord of the mountain who saved her ancestors from the Irish Famine. Like generations of Devlin witches before her, the hauntingly beautiful woman submitted to His every caress, His every humiliation. But when His lordship threatened her family, Mary broke the agreement with the vengeful demon and now Mary and her progeny must pay the price.
Mary and each succeeding Devlin witch — fiery Orla, fragile Fiona, pragmatic Annie and seductive Rita — will try and best Slanaitheoir in a battle of wills and magic. But the seductive demon can satisfy a witch as no human lover can. Each Devlin witch must decide — when part of her still yearns for His touch and love, can she fight Him and win?

This is the set of all 4 books. This series is very addictive and you won't be able to put it down. I usually don't find myself addicted to paranormal but this series is GOOD. Its steamy, some great witches, a mountain demon and lot's of strong women.
Caroline is shocked when her mother reacts so strangely to her fiance's mother at the wedding rehearsal, but the woman has her reasons for despising Mary. Mary is a Devlin witch, beholden to Slanaitheoir, the demon of Devil's Mountain. Like generations of Devlin witches before her, Mary offers herself as sacrifice to repay the demon for his generosity to the other mountain families and his protection during the Great Famine. Slanaitheoir's protection comes with a terrible price, and Mary has suffered so much loss in her life. When her son, Bobby, begs for her to help he and Caroline conceive a child, Mary must once again sacrifice herself for the happiness of those she loves. But Slanaitheoir is no longer satisfied with Mary and his price this time ripples down to Bobby and Caroline in the most tragic of circumstances. Can Mary stop history from repeating itself upon the generations to follow?
This story will definitely have you burning through the pages. That said, I firmly believe it's misleading to categorize this as a romance. It is not a romance. The editing style is a bit off-putting to a purist like myself, but most readers probably won't notice the things that made me wince. If you're looking for a story that will have you questioning how much you'd sacrifice to protect those you love, this is a great read. If you're hoping for a romance with a sexy devil, this is not that book.
"Slanaitheoir's most beautiful, most cruel. He stood over six feet, his broad shoulders draped in a golden silk tunic. His bright green eyes danced with desire and malice. " (20)
I would like to thank Bernadette Walsh for providing me with a copy of this book.
This book contained 4 books in one, which all interconnect with the same plot line. I loved the first two books, but found the last two book too rushed and missing plot. I found this book very believable and easily to understand.
This book was a medium read, as it took me about two days to read!
I would recommend it to anyone 18+ that is into fantasy.
This series will keep you guessing! There is so much happening throughout with the various branches of the Devlin line. Love how the past Devlin witches are so instrumental in the story. Some much creativity went into the making of this story. A couple of times I had to just keep reading to see how the story tied together but the author did a great job of making it all make sense. Looking forward to checking out more by this author.
This book had my attention throughout the book and had me turning the pages... I'm dont usually like paranormal romance but this one's totally worth it... I kept wondering what would happen next...
