Fire: A Quinn Brothers Story
Contemporary Romance Author Casey Clipper introduces you to her Lunchtime Read Collection. Liam Quinn is in a downward spiral with love ever since his first and only love left him a year ago after his reckless behavior with being a firefighter. He has since pulled every aspect of his life together, except in the love department. When he sees Candace, the girl who broke his heart at the Annual Firefighter's Halloween Party, he knows this may be his only chance to talk to her.
Candace has no desire to lose Liam to his reckless behavior but when she sees that he has changed will she give him a second chance or will the chance of losing him on the job be to great of a risk for her heart?
This was a great quick novella on second chances at love. Candace understood the risks of Liam's job but she didn't want him doing stupid things that could cause his own death or injuries.
I really liked meeting all of the Quinn brothers and I can't wait to learn more about them in this series. Although the book is quick I still found that I liked the characters and believe we will get to know them more and more as the series goes on!

I like the concept of a lunchtime read and Casey Clipper puts together a hot story with a lot of heart, mostly damaged ones. The only problem with short pieces is character development isn't as in depth as I like. The writing is tight and Liam is the poster boy for an alpha male. However, after a year mourning the loss of his true love, he's learned a thing or two about changes needed in his life. Both Liam and Candace are headstrong and brokenhearted from the past year. Liam's determination to win his Candy back is hot but great sex cannot tame the fear that she has of losing him permanently. Can she see that she can't live without him in her life nor can he live without her. I definitely look forward to the other stories about the other Quinn brothers.

I LOVED this book and it was a quick read featuring just one of the five Quinn Brothers. Liam Quinn is a firefighter who took risks and cost him his first and only true love, Candace. However, one year later and at a Christmas party, Liam is trying to invent an excuse to leave early but imagine his surprise when he finds that Candace is there. The love that both Liam and Candace is felt by both of their hearts, Liam lets her know that his daredevil days are over. Both of them realize that they are miserable because they aren't together plus their attraction to each other is still as strong as it once was. I just love happily ever afters and this book was just that plus a very quick lunchtime read.

Great quick read
Oohican see this is gonna be a great quick hot series. Luv Alpha males with a big heart. Add brothers to the mix and u have the perfect recipe. Looking forward to the next book.

This was a very cute short story, it was definitely something I could relate to. I love the Quinn brothers and can't wait to meet them all individually.
