"Asides" is a collection of eight short stories written while Young Adult author Heather Frost published the Seers Trilogy and attended college. Readers have asked what else she worked on during those years, so here is a small but eclectic taste—action, romance, humor, drama, horror, suspense, and even a non-fiction piece have been gathered into this book. Also included are two Seers Trilogy extras: a Seers scene from Patrick’s perspective (“The Kiss”) and an exciting, never-before-released prequel from Toni (“The New Partner”).

This is the collection of short stories I promised readers. There's a wide variety of stuff in here!

There is a Seers Trilogy prequel, the longest story included in the collection. Toni Alvarez is the main character, and writing it was extremely fun. If readers were wondering what he was like in the 80s, or how he and Patrick met, this is the story for you!

In addition to the prequel, you'll find stories with a more literary flavor--with plenty of humor, of course, and quirky characters. There is a non-fiction piece about an event in my childhood, and there's even a speculative horror story. Romance, adventure, drama, and humor abound.

These are my favorite short stories that I wrote while I was getting my BS in English, and I am thrilled to be sharing them with you now! Enjoy, and thank you so much for reading, my friends!
