He pulled back to stare at her mouth, but he didn't kiss her. "I don't play games. But I'm also not going to be the guy who you keep blowing off...I want to know that you're not going to disappear every time we have a bad moment...you've been keeping me awake at night since we met, and until now, I honestly didn't know if you felt anything for me. So, yeah. If you're mad at me for not calling? Good."
She'd never been more turned on in her life. Everything he'd said had been fair. He'd accurately called her on her bullshit, and she like that. A lot.
"No kissing this morning." What? Had she heard him correctly? "You want to be kissed, you come and find me later. You come to me."

He dragged a hand through his unkempt black hair. “Am I still drunk, or are you dressed like a rabbit?”
His voice was rough from sleep. Probably not his usual voice. That had to be the reason her tummy did a backflip. “I’m dressed like a rabbit.”
“Okay.” He tilted his head. “Should I be drunk for this?”
“If anyone should be drunk for this, it’s me.”
And that is our meet cute. And what a funny scene it was. Roxy is a struggling actress, and in order to procure some extra money, she takes a job as a singing telegram, and her first job: to sing an ode to a guy’s junk, courtesy of his last one-night stand. And the most embarrassing fact: the guy is unbelievably gorgeous. But Roxy doesn’t have time for some spoiled rich boy, not matter how sexy he is, and hard he chases after her.
Louis McNally celebrated winning his last pro-bono case with a fun night. What he didn’t expect was to be serenaded the next morning by a sexy pink rabbit, one that is witty and sarcastic. Add the fact that she is stunning, and gave him a mind-blowing kiss, and he can’t help but want to get to know her better. But can he convince the skittish Roxy that there is a lot more to him than his trust-fund?
“Stop. No legal talk. I’ve only recently discovered my weakness for it.” Roxy felt herself flush red to her hairline. Admitting weaknesses now? If she kept slipping up around this guy, he was going to run her over like a semitruck.
“I have a weakness for every fucking thing about you, so you’ve still got the advantage. All right?”
I loved the banter between Roxy and Louis, and that Louis tried so hard to show Roxy that he was worth giving a chance. And I really liked how protective he was over her, the way he just wanted to care for her. Their romance was so damn sexy, and wonderful.
Honey gestured toward the kitchen with her spoon. “What else you got in that bag, Mary Poppins?”
Roxy’s curiosity got the best of her, so she hopped up on one of the kitchen stools and reached into the bag. “Three . . . no, four Snickers bars,” she announced. “A bottle of wine. Tylenol. People magazine.” She peered further into the bag. “And Bridesmaids on DVD.”
Abby reached out for the bag. “You may continue mauling our roommate now.”
“It would appear I can be bought, too,” Honey sighed. “Fire up the DVD player.”
I also loved Roxy’s new roommates and Louis’ friends, and the added hilarity and depth they added to the story. The fact that Louis not only had to win over Roxy, but also her new friends, was so funny and adorable.
Without her, he’d never have felt this. He required her. Another person. He’d never expected to feel that way in his life.
I have been a fan of Tessa Bailey for a very long time. Her books are always scorching hot, and this book was no exception. Despite the fact that I’m not a NA fan, this book worked for me. It might not have had the HEA that I always need in my romance novels, but their HFA was pretty perfect. A must read for all romance fans.
