Good and Evil

Rate this book
A haunting story of choices and consequences, darkness and light, and two men leading two very different lives. One man is a ruthless, calculating businessman who has successfully built up a corporate empire on the backs of those he has trod into the dust to achieve his goals. Unwavering and dedicated in his career, Jack Krantz knows the ins and outs of the business world, but ignores the emptiness in his own heart. He will do anything to reach his definition of success, including swindling his ex-partner and friend, Tyler Emerson, out of his livelihood. Bowed by sorrow and beleaguered with financial worries, as well as caring for his sister in the home they have been threatened to lose, Tyler watches as not only his life crumbles around him, but his old friend is losing his soul.

"For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?"

About the author

Lacey Summers

Ever since she was a young and impressionable girl, Lacey has loved reading and creating stories. Some she told to impress, others still to scare people (also scaring herself). However, many of the stories dancing around her head are born from her deep love of American history and literature. A proud and admittedly obsessed history buff, she builds many of her novel ideas around the American Revolutionary War.
Lacey is married to the most amazing husband in the entire world and lives in Texas.

The story is as old as time but told in a refreshing, yet heart wrenching way. I believe it could be a great resource for the non believer who is searching to know more about salvation and eternal life, while reminding us Christians about our responsibility to pray for the lost and share what we believe. I received this book as a Goodreads First Reads but all opinions are my own.
