I really enjoyed the storyline. The characters are great. The reason I couldn't give it a 5 was the editing problems. This collection was supposed to be reformatted and re edited. However it is full of words in the wrong place and wrong words in a sentence even the wrong characters names used in a sentence. At times it made reading it difficult. I really enjoyed the story. I actually hope there are more books about the Louisiana pack. I'd love to read Declan, Rhett and especially Shaw's story. I'm new to Vivian Woods books but I'm going to give it another try to see if her other books are better edited.
I enjoyed this series, but i feel like it was building up to a big showdown that never happened. All of the vignettes at the end were pretty neat, too. It was nice to get some background on characters that were mentioned in the full length stories. I did have some issues with the spelling/grammar/awkward word usage (ie, saying 'she' instead of 'he,' 'or' instead of 'on,' and things like that. I had to go back and re-read sentences multiple times before I realized, "oh hey! typo!" and could move on. Overall, pretty interesting and one of the more enjoyable series of this type of book.
Great book! Could use a bit of editing, but I thoroughly enjoyed reading about the Louisiana Shifters I am hoping that there will be more books to tell the stories of some of the other great characters.
