Men of Medford #4

Stuck with my Mountain Daddies

Rate this book
One night with a hot, tattooed lumberjack… That’ll solve my problems.
Until I find out he’s my best friend’s brother. And she has two more.
Now I’m snowed in with these three flannel-wrapped men. I’m screwed.

Literally.

After a social media disaster nukes my career, my best friend insists I hide out at her family’s remote cabin. Except when I arrive, it’s flooded.

And she forgot to mention one tiny detail…
Her brothers.

Garrett—the grump who growls more than he talks.
Asher—the cocky one I slept with before I knew who he was.
Beckett—the broodiest, who whispers things I didn’t know I needed to hear.

Now I’m stuck in the woods with three mountain men who split firewood by day and make me forget my name at night.

We said it was temporary.
We lied.

Because I’m not just falling for these off-limits brothers.
I’m carrying their twins.

Stuck with my Mountain Daddies is a standalone MFMM why choose romance in the “Men of Medford” series. Get ready for three rough and rugged brothers, rom-com vibes, and a twin surprise pregnancy. No swords cross, but axes swing. Ultra swoony HEA.

Listen... I came for a little escapism and got absolutely steamrolled—in the best way—by flannel, tattoos, and three mountain-sized reasons to never leave a remote cabin again.
Stuck with my Mountain Daddies is the kind of book that makes you want to cancel your weekend plans, pour something strong, and dive into a snowstorm of heat, heart, and holy-hell-did-they-just-do-that.
So here’s me: career in flames (relatable), best friend trying to save me (thanks babe), and a flooded cabin that leads to me being stranded with not one, but THREE of her rugged, off-limits, hotter-than-sin brothers.
Garrett, the growly protector. Asher, the shameless flirt I accidentally slept with (oops?). Beckett, the dark, broody one who sees straight through me. Together? These guys are the human version of a warm fire, rough hands, and whispered promises you didn’t know you needed until they’re tangled in your hair.
And whew—the tension? The heat? Lacey Day did not hold back. This book isn’t just spicy, it’s "burn your flannel off and make you howl at the moon" levels of delicious.
But what hit hardest wasn’t just the steamy scenes (though trust me, they deserve a moment of silence). It was the way these three men loved her. How they made her feel seen when the rest of the world tried to shame her into silence. How they turned one chaotic snowed-in week into something safe, wild, and real.
Also, surprise twins?! Yeah. I squealed. I melted. I already want the sequel.
If you like your mountain men with axes, heart, and enough steam to fog up your Kindle screen, Stuck with my Mountain Daddies is your next one-sitting obsession. Just maybe don’t read it in public unless you’re ready to blush like you’re the one snowed in.

Okay serious question is Medford a real place? Cause they seem to breed their men differently and I’d love directions 🙋‍♀️ for a friend obviously.

This is book 4 in an interconnected series. While it can be read as a standalone it is much better to start at book 1 and get the full experience of what Medford has to offer!

It’s really crappy how one sentence taken out of context and put on the internet can blow up someone’s entire life. That’s what happened to our FMC Riley. Needing to escape she goes to her best friend’s hometown and as always Medford works its voodoo magic and she gets her happy ending.
Well kind of, there’s a lot of angst, drama, secrets and spice before she gets there. I was a little unsure of Riley to begin with, she was frustrated and angry and kind of took that out on the brothers but you do grow to understand and love her character by the end.

On to the Wolfe brothers, think ruggedly handsome lumberjacks.
Bearded, broody and grumpy, exactly how you would imagine a mountain man to be. Garrett with his quiet steadiness is the oldest brother. Asher with his ridiculous, infuriating charm is the middle brother. Then there’s Beckett with his rough edges and silent watchfulness.
Each brother brings something unique to the harem, where one may be weak there are two left to be strong. As brothers they grew up together, live together and work together so it was no surprise that finding love was something they did together as well.

While this book wasn’t my favourite of the series I still really enjoyed reading it.

I absolutely loved this story from Lacey! This is the fourth book I’ve read from her, and it definitely didn’t disappoint. I can’t wait to see what’s next!

Riley is an online influencer whose world comes crashing down after being sabotaged by a jealous fellow content creator. She leaves the fast-paced life of Los Angeles behind and escapes to the quiet mountain town of Medford, where her best friend lives.

There, she meets three rugged lumberjack brothers—who just so happen to be her best friend’s siblings.

Riley meets Asher on her first night in town at a local bar, and the chemistry between them is instant. The next day, she arrives at Lucy’s cabin—only to find it in complete disarray. Asher checks in on the cabin without realizing the woman from the night before is staying there. Soon after, Riley meets Garrett and Beckett, and as her life continues to unravel, these three men help her find her strength again.

Of course, the woman responsible for destroying Riley’s career isn’t done causing trouble, and the fallout affects the people Riley has come to care about most.

I love how characters from the previous books make appearances—it really makes the town feel alive and connected. Beckett was my favorite character in this book—there’s just something about him!

And BISCUIT—he is my soul animal. I adore that little dude!

I enjoyed this book, though it wasn’t my favorite by the author. That’s purely for personal reasons, and doesn’t have anything to do with the book itself. I was just a little bit on the fence with the three brothers sharing one woman. I mean, I like my brother, but would I want to be in a polyamorous relationship with him? Aside from that, I thought the story overall was fine. I had a bit of a hard time warming up to Riley, though. She was so angry and kept lashing out unfairly. And perhaps it’s because I’m older but I just don’t see the interest in these internet “influencers.” It all seems a bit too vainglorious for me. I’m over 50 and I can’t imagine going back to a time in my life when I worried about other people!s perception of me. No thank you. I really enjoy the author’s writing style and appreciate her way with words, though. And the story had a nice flow. So while it wasn’t my favorite, I will still be looking forward to more books by the author.

The characters in this story were beautifully developed—each with distinct personalities and backstories that came together like puzzle pieces clicking into place. The chemistry between Asher and Riley was instant and electric, while Beckett and Garrett’s connection was more of a slow burn that kept me hooked.

When the four finally gave into their feelings? Holy cow. Whew! 🌶️🥵 That scene was intense in the best way.

Riley’s mom, though—ugh. Completely self-absorbed, more worried about her image than her daughter’s happiness. She was so frustrating!

On the flip side, I loved the women of Medford. Their constant support, kindness, and zero-judgment attitude really stood out. That kind of community is rare and refreshing.

Riley’s journey hit close to home. In a world obsessed with appearances and social media, her struggle to find authenticity and truly live in the moment felt incredibly relatable. She absolutely deserved her happy ending, and I’m so glad she got it.

This one's got snowed-in chaos, steamy lumberjacks, and a reality check colder than a Medford winter

Riley flees to Medford to escape the fallout of being canceled online, hoping her best friend's cabin will offer peace. Instead, she ends up snowed in with her best friend’s three rugged, ridiculously sexy brothers. And let's just say: the flannel wasn't the only thing getting ripped off.

Medford men have no chill, and frankly? I enjoy every moment of it. But beneath the spice lies a tender reminder: "Maybe healing doesn't mean staying untouched. Maybe it means letting yourself go." This book isn't just sexy, it's transformative. Riley's growth hits deep, and the brothers? Equal parts wild and wonderful. Another delicious installment in the Men of Medform series. Emotional, dirty, and full of snowy secrets.

Received this as a free copy via Booksprout. Sharing my unfiltered feels because Medford men don’t miss.🔥

STUCK WITH MY MOUNTAIN DADDIES is Book 4 in the Men of Medford series, and it might be my favorite one. It's a steamy, instalove, OTT, age-gap, opposites-attract, forced-proximity, reverse harem-why choose, girl gets her 3 mountain brothers romance. Riley is a sweet and sassy social media influencer whose career has just imploded. Her bestie tells her to go to her family's mountain cabin to get away, but fails to mention that her 3, ridiculously hot lumberjack brothers will be there. Asher, the charming and cocky one that she slept with prior, not knowing who he was, Garrett, the hunky, grumpy one, and Beckett, the silent brooding one. This one made me laugh and swoon in equal measure. The chemistry was insane and the ending was happy after some drama and angst. I want to know how to find Medford, because there must be something in the water. I loved it.

This is the 4th book in this series and Lucy doesn't disappoint with another men of Medford book. This book can also be read as a stand alone.Riley our fmc is having the worst week ever. She goes viral on social media for all the wrong reasons and her career is basically toast. Her best friend tries to help by sending Riley to her family’s remote cabin in to hide out and relax. When Riley gets there the place is flooded. But her best friends three brothers are there to help.Garret is quiet and grumpy one. He barely talks but always seems to be around.Asher is the confident one and he hooks up with Riley when she first arrived into town.Beckett is mysterious and says things that make her feel seen in ways she didn’t expect. They get snowed in together and feelings start to get real and secrets come out. This book was written well and had wonderful world building.

I absolutely loved this book! This whole series is amazing! The story line was addictive! Riley is such a strong woman who kinda lost herself while she built her brand. When she went to get away and find her footing from the fall out, that's when she discovers herself and what is really important. Asher, Garrett, and Beckett all help her find what she was missing. They all come with some baggage, but they are all really great men. I love how everyone from the town band together to protect Riley from Ava. The characters from the previous books, Sadie, with her men (Samuel, Kai, and Adam) Aurora with (Ethan, Ownen, and Mason, and Lilia with Jaxon, Ryan and Colt. They all showed up for her, along with her best friend Lucy and Nate. This is a really great series, one I will definitely be reading again.

Messy

I really wanted to like this book, but it was just a bit too all over the place for me. There were a lot of inconsistencies with the characters emotions and too many plot holes. It just felt rushed and left me needing more explanation on the story line. I almost dnf’ed multiple times but pushed through just to see if it got better. I think with some proper editing this could have some real potential but it needs a clearer story line. The MFC just felt too emotionally unstable and reactive and honestly if I was the MMC’s I would have dropped her ass. The protagonist character also left a lot to be desired and didn’t really make a lot of sense. I’m still struggling to understand how she randomly showed up when there was no indication that a location was ever shared. Overall good in theory but lacks execution.

This is the first book I’ve read in this series and it didn’t disappoint! A cute, festivite and spicy small town book I read in one sitting. Riley escapes to Medford, where she meets Asher and has a one night stand. Riley was supposed to stay at her best friend, Lucy’s cabin but it had been flooded. So she was rescued by Asher , they realised that Asher is Riley’s best friend’s brother and there’s 2 more of them… Riley ends up staying with the Wolfe brothers and there’s chemistry is there between all of them as well as the tension. They end up being snowed in at the cabin for a few days and give in to the tension! The spicy scenes were good and steamy and it was a good balance of plot!

🌶️ 2.5

-snowed in
-forced proximity
-reverse harem/poly/MFMM
-slow burn
-one night stand
-small town
-accidental pregnancy
-festive
-hot lumberjack MMC’s

It was fine but I’ve discovered that I am not a fan of ‘influencer’ characters, at least not this one. She had such low self esteem that she needed to ‘build herself from nothing. Just her, her phone and the belief that she could actually matter’. When one of the MMCs said it seemed hollow trying to look perfect for strangers she got mad, insulted him because he lived ‘in the middle of nowhere’ and then whined about how tough it was to be judged. “You don’t know what it’s like to be picked apart. To have thousands of people watch you fall, just waiting to pounce. You think it’s fake because you’ve never had to prove yourself to a hollow world that only values you if you’re shiny and smiling.” Why TF is she mad at him when she’s literally admitting that it IS hollow?!? *sigh* she frustrated me.

I really enjoyed this story. I loved the struggle Riley had with who she was outside of the influencing world and who the real her was. The tension between everyone and Lucy finding everything out was also very well written and I enjoyed all the guys point of views, not just Riley’s. I think out of Asher, Garrett, and Beckett, my favorite is Beckett. I also enjoyed seeing the other main characters on the series and I can’t wait to read their stories as well. The writing and atmosphere has such a cozy yet comedic vibe to it that is so addicting. I’m thankful that I was gifted a copy and I highly recommend this book to romance readers.

This series just keeps getting better with every new book, just like the previous stories I couldn't put this one down either.
It is funny and heartwarming, hot and steamy but there is also tension which keeps you on your toes wondering what will happen next, this one also has not one but two romances.
Riley, after a career disaster she heads for the hills to hide out with her best friend Lucy in her cabin, but things quickly start to go wrong and Lucy "forgot" to mention to Riley that her three brothers Asher, Beckett and Garrett Wolfe would be there too...
This a must read love story and definitely a must read series.

This was the first book I’ve read by Lacey Day but now that I have read her work I will be finding more books by her. This book is really relevant with all the social media these days. I love how much Riley had to find herself. Her occasional anger and frustration lashing out seemed so realistic to how most people would react. These well developed characters drag you in. The brothers have such distinct personalities. I enjoyed their differences. Asher and Riley already having a connection was great as well. I hated Riley’s mom but I think that was intentionally written that way. This is a great read and I am now a fan of Lacey Day and can’t wait to read more from her.

This was a really good book that I thoroughly enjoyed reading. Riley is an influencer, and when one of her rivals sits about to bring her downfall, she does it in a big way, which leaves Riley, turning to her best friend, Lucy to help her get away from LA and the publicity that arrival had caused. When she arrives at Lucy‘s mountain cabin, the place is flooded and unfit to live in. Lucy calls for her brothers, Garrett, Beckett and Asher to help her. Riley was not prepared for the three men who stole her heart and gave her twins. There’s a lot more involved in the story, but it ends with a happy ever after and lots of loving.

Stuck with my Mountain Daddies is the fourth book in Lacey Day's Men of Medford series. There is seriously something in the water in Medford that there are now four MMFM polyamorous relationships in this small town. Riley goes to Medford, the home of her college best friend Lucy, to lick her wounds after her career as an influencer blows up. Lucy's three brothers and Riley are quickly taken with each other and fall into a poly relationship that they keep secret from Lucy. Like every book in the series there is an unintended pregnancy and some drama. Just once I'd like to see a poly book where safe sex was taken seriously. Other than that it was a very enjoyable, quick read.

Very good story as usual. Love reverse harem. I thought Riley was an ok character at the start, but really grew as the story progressed. Riley, a content creator, whom I think was more into the fame that came with it rather than really trying to make a difference, had her while career knocked out from under her. If it wasn't for her best friend offering up her cabin, she wouldn't have had anywhere to run to hide from her infamy. Due to an accident with the cabin, Riley has to move in with her bff's brothers; Asher, Garrett, and Beckett. Spending time with the three guys and handing around Medford, Riley realizes what she wants to do with her life and who she really wants to live her life with. I love a HEA.

I wouldn’t say the book was horrible, but it just didn’t land for me—despite how much I’ve enjoyed this author’s other series.

Riley, as an influencer, takes us on a deeply emotional journey, and I think that’s part of what made this a tough read for me. The emotions were intense, but at times it felt overwhelming. She lashed out unexpectedly more than once, which pulled me out of the story and made it hard to connect with her choices.

That said, I do love Riley as a character—she’s complex, passionate, and definitely not forgettable. While this book wasn’t quite my favorite, I still appreciate the depth the author gave her.

Hot, sweet, and full of mountain man goodness!

Stuck with My Mountain Daddies was exactly the escape I needed—steamy, heartfelt, and packed with rugged charm. Lacey Day knows how to write protective, possessive men you can’t help but fall for. The setting adds just the right touch of isolation and tension, and the chemistry between the characters is on fire. I loved how the romance developed with warmth and spice, and the heroine had just enough sass to keep the guys on their toes. If you love possessive mountain men and a reverse harem done right, this one’s a total win!.

The Men of Medford books are all so good. They each start off with a heroine "running" from a bad situation to the town of Medford- which in same way or another has called to them.

I personally felt like this book had a bit more emotions than the others before it but I think I just relate a lot with Riley. This book was an easy read, fast paced and made sense. There were no plot holes and everything connected. However, how did Ava found out what she did? The only people who knew where Riley, the men, Lucy and Riley's mom? Hmm, fishy.

And as in the ones before it, there's a little chaotic corgi scene.

Three lumberjack brothers, a snowstorm, and one influencer whose life just went up in flames. I was already hooked before the first shirt hit the floor. Riley’s fall from online grace felt painfully real, and I liked watching her figure out who she is without the filters and hashtags. Asher’s cocky, Garrett’s grumpy, and Beckett’s got that quiet intensity that sneaks up on you. Together? They’re trouble in flannel. The women of Medford are the kind of small-town crew you actually want in your corner, and the spice… yeah, Lacey didn’t hold back. It’s messy, dirty, sweet, and somehow still cozy. Would’ve loved a little less insta-love, but it still hit the spot.

This is the book i was waiting for. I saw an advert on facebook and when i went to get this book i realised that it was a series. So i done what you was meant to be do and read the books in the order.
I did think that they would be stuck in a snow storm for longer. I get where she was coming from as how do you tell your best friend that your in love with her brothers. Not just one but allll 3. And then tell her that yoir pregnant and you dont know which one is the father. I did think that lucy knew there was something going on with all 3.
You dont need to read the series in order but id recommend it. As you get characters from the other books come up and you dont want any spoilers.

So if you’ve read the previous books you’ve already been introduced to these characters and have been patiently waiting for their story. And the wait is worth it. This story is just as good if not better than the rest (depending what type of characters you like) the writing was immaculate, the fmc & mmcs were to die for & all the drama, spice, lol moments, and the hea at the end were just the cherry on top. If you want a short read that will keep you interested then I highly recommend this book.

This was a sweet story of rediscovery and healing. After her life in LA blows up, Riley grasps onto a lifeline from her best friend Lucy. The chance to get away and recharge. She finds herself falling into the arms of Lucy's brothers, Asher the charismatic one, Garrett the protective one, and Bennett the broody one (my favorite. shhh don't tell the others)
On her journey to figure out what's next for her, she finds herself and love.

I like Lacy Day’s writing and this book didn’t disappoint. Like the rest of the books in this series, the story and characters were well developed and the small town of Medford was loveable. There is an entertaining story that accompanied the spice. In this book, I liked her take on social influencers lives and how precarious they are, and the fact that the Wolfe siblings relationships weren’t perfect.

I am really loving Medford. I must admit however that Riley really got on my nerves for a long time. I loved all the guys, especially Beckett. The mean girl was just enough to stir things up but now enough to put me off. All the angst is spread out for I didn’t find it annoying. It ends up being a great story and I love that Lucy and Nate are included in the HEA. I can’t wait for the next book in this series.

Hiding out at her best friends cabin after her career implodes, Riley has a one night stand with her best friends brother! When she finds her self snowed in with him and his two brothers leads to a VERY interesting read! This reverse harem/surprise pregnancy/best friends brother/s romance is a witty read. Trapped Together

When everything comes crashing down Riley takes shelter in her best friend’s cabin but when she is snowed in she never expected find Asher, Beckett and Garrett. This was a tension filled story with explosive chemistry that kept my interest. It was an enjoyable read with steamy moments that kept pace with a near relatable plot.

“Stuck with My Mountain Daddies” by Lacey Day

- This is a funny and emotional story. I received a free copy and am voluntarily sharing my honest thoughts. Riley’s influencer world crashes, landing her in the arms of three rugged Wolfe brothers.

With spice, sass, and healing, she finds love and herself in small-town Medford. The mountain daddies are hot, protective, and full of surprises.
