I have been DYING for this book…seriously. I read the first 2 in just over a day then had to WAIT!!! However, it was well worth it!!!

Ella has irritated me at times over the first two books…stubborn, a little whiny, and can’t seem to truly “let go” when she should. This book really shows her true colors.

Porter…*sigh* … I loved him from the start. Every woman deserves a Porter! Hot, loving, tender, and alpha all at the same time…mmmmmm. I fell a little more in love with him reading this book, just sayin!

After all Porter and Ella have been through this should be the happiest time of their lives. Finally they are together and anticipating moving in to the house Porter is building for them. When Ella finally becomes pregnant is the happiest moment of their lives. Unfortunately, troubles from the past leech their way in to his happily ever after. Ella has had so many difficulties with guild and depression related to the death of her ex at her hands after he kidnapped her that Porter is already overly protective. When the kid who shot her is finally captured and she is expected to identify him and testify it is trying on them both.

Unexpected medical issues on top of the pending trial and insight into how her ex managed to embezzle so much money from her business takes a toll on everyone…will they be able to overcome yet more obstacles or will it destroy them? Will Ella find her inner lioness and overcome her fears and guilt or will these events truly be her undoing?

I am not telling…you will have to one-click yourself to find out.

HEA:

Never Giving Up is the third book in the Never series. It is the final book that follows Ella and Porter. They have been through a lot and are now starting a family. There is one more conflict standing in the way of their happily ever after.

At the beginning of this series I thought it was ok. Ella and Porter had a nice relationship, not considering that they got together so fast. Then the second book got repetitive with Kyle harassing Ella and her wanting to leave to protect everybody. And with Porter being his normal perfect self. And I was over Kyle and his randomly being this crazy murderous guy. Never Giving Up was my least favorite of the three books. I still liked Ella and Porter together but other aspects weren’t as good.

The second book ended at a good spot. So I was curious as to what would happen in this one. I didn’t know what they could do for conflict. As it turns out it went in the same direction as the second one. The villain in this book was a leap for me. The villain was . The cops caught someone who gave up that person for a lessor jail sentence. While looking for him they let Ella and Porter know. Thus begins the worry that Ella would be hurt. The cops’ theory as to why she would be hurt is that IT was all pointless in my opinion and grasping at straws to have conflict in the story.

That conflict ended fairly quickly so there needed to be another one. That came in the form of This was also pointless to me. All of the “conflict” just dragged on.

Another issue that I had was that when Ella had her baby she became lost in her role as mother. She shouldn’t lose herself just add another role. And while Ella got lost in motherhood Porter just got lost. There were less from his point of view, he had to go back to work so he was around less than Ella, and the story at times made it seem like Porter loved their baby less than Ella. That was what I didn’t like, that Ella somehow cared more because she was a mother and that Porter didn’t because he was just the dad.

Porter was a great guy as per usual. He was attentive to Ella and very sweet with their baby when he was there. He was almost too perfect. Nobody is that amazing all the time. Ella had more weaknesses than Porter. There should have been a better balance of vulnerabilities.

Never Giving Up would work better as a side novella book. There just wasn’t enough there to justify being a full novel. But this was a decent filler series. I don’t think I would have read it if I didn’t get the box set for free on my kindle. I think the series continues with other characters from these books. Ella and Porter had a nice relationship but I will not be continuing with this series.

This is the third novel in the Never Series and I could not wait to get back to Ella and Porter's story! Porter is on my list for top book boyfriend and he will be staying there. Ella is sweet and funny and together they are an amazing couple. Porter and Ella know exactly what they are thinking from one look, one movement.

Porter and Ella have been through so much in their one year together, much more than one couple should. They are now married and ready to move one with their lives but there is still one thing in the way to make Ella feel safe. One man that flipped their lives upside down was gone but there was still one on the run and until he was behind bars Ella would be looking over her shoulder. Will they find the mystery man in the black hoodie?

Porter is building their dream home and they are ready to fill it up with babies and they are ready to start that journey. Porter is of course being the very loving protective husband and will do everything and anything for Ella but sometimes it's too much for her. She needs to feel that she could do things on her own. To be strong. For herself and for her future family. Porter and Ella have one last big hurdle before they live happily ever after. The great thing about them is they don't ever give up even when it's the hardest thing in the world to go through.

I love Anie and her novels. I know that I will be on a emotional roller coaster. Her writing is beautiful and makes you want go into the book and hug the characters. I can't wait to see what is next...

Quotes:

"How many of my breakdowns are you going to hold me through?" She asked dejectedly.
"All of them." I said.

"Don't question my devotion, Ella. Don't think twice about the fact that every other woman pales in comparison to you."

"Yeah, well thanks for being a good son and driving a total stranger home in a rain storm."

Ella and Porter have been through so much and it's time for them to get their happily ever after. Except there is still one thing from the crazyness of the past year left unsolved and until that is figured out Ellas fears are still there.

Mariage and being together are what they deserve after all they have been through and this is their story. They still have troubles and trials and I definitely recomend keeping tissues close by while reading.

Ella has been through so much, but she's stronger than ever and sure of herself and what she wants. And she's not afraid to let others know her opinions either.

Porter is still sweet and caring with a bit of overbearing alpha male thrown in. Watching him care for Ella throughout the series there's been moe than one time I've swooned.

I loved seeing their story find it's true happy ending and am excited that some of the other characters will get their story told next!

Really happy with how this series rounded out. Love the alternating chapter POVs, how the book sped along without dwelling too much at any one point - we cover about a year from start to finish. Still great character chemistry, more so with Ella being more matured and less inclined to run away all the time. Porter is still an amazing book boyfriend, never had I wanted to see a visual of this character so badly! lol This book also had me close to tears, throwing in an unexpected twist, thankfully deviating a bit from the more expected .

I only refrain from giving 5 stars cause there were some scenes which were left out or glossed over ex. their wedding, their vows, their honeymoon, etc. And while I appreciated the pacing, could have spent additional time elaborating on some moments. But solid 4 star read, great end to a memorable trilogy.

Where do I start with this book? First off, if you haven't read the series, do yourself a favor, and pick up the entire series right away. I have read all three books in the series now, and wow! What a whirlwind, roller coaster ride Anie Michaels will put you on.

After a crazy, coincidental night that landed Porter, and Ella a chance meeting, everything has tested their love, and their life that they had perfectly planned out. From a crazy ex-boyfriend stalker, to something that would be a HUGE spoiler, Porter, and Ella really fight for their love throughout the entire Never Series. Never Giving Up closes off their whirlwind romance with a bang. I absolutely loved this series, and will plan on reading it in the years to come.

Ella and Porter have had a lot of life changes. Between commuting back, and forth for the first few months of their relationship, her crazy ex-boyfriend, the thing that I won't mention(!), and expecting their first child, life couldn't be any better for them. When Detective Dillard calls them, explaining that they may have who they're looking for, fear rips through Ella's life once more to the point that she knows the stress is bad for their baby. But until she knows for certain that her life is no longer in danger, she cannot find the peace, and quiet that she knows she needs.

Upon returning to the house that Porter built for Ella, she feels as if Porter has rejected her since having the baby. Porter does his best to reassure Ella that things have not changed, and he's just determined to help out more now that the baby is here, and that Ella has placed most of her focus on their baby. Things take a turn for the worse as the book comes to a close, and its devastating whether you are a mother, or not. The pain that Anie painted between Porter, and Ella was excruciating as their child was rushed off for blood work, and other medical testing.

Overall, Never Giving Up, was a wonderful conclusion to a really well-written, well thought out story line. Anie Michaels really out did herself this round with Porter, and Ella. They easily turned into my favorite couple of the year. I do look forward to revisiting the books at a later date.

First of all this has to be my favorite of the three books. It contains family, passion, drama and a healthy dose of emotions that will have you reaching for the tissue .In this book Ms. Michaels weaves a tale even a cold hearted person will find hard to resist. This is the final story of what has become one of my favorite couples Ella and Porter as they are now newlyweds and on their way to be first time parents. Alone Ella’s and Porters you meet other great characters that help make the even more interesting.
This story from the very beginning draws you into their world as two become three and they learn nothing is never easy and that the trails that we face is never easy especially when it’s out of their control . The couple is learning that even first time parents there are so many unknowns whether it be the pregnancy, childbirth, taking care of newborns or just begin first time parents the trail they go makes them stronger.
As Ms. Michaels gives Ella and Porter their happily ever after it’s done in such a way that you feel that you are going on their journey with them. This book may seem like your typical HEA but you cannot help but question what you would do in their situation that’s how much you get entrapped in the world she creates for this couple .
I definitely recommend this series it heartwarming ,full of drama and to be honest one of the best I have read in a while so many aspects yet they all seem to fit just perfect .Everyone deserve their HEA and I’m happy Ella and Porter got theirs .

"Just when you think you can't fall in love with someone any deeper, you realize there's so much more you have yet to experience with them, and every single day just makes me love you that much more."

I have loved this whole series! I might have loved this one just a tad more. I love how protective Porter is and you can see how much he loves Ella. I think because of all the stuff they have been through, their relationship seems a lot stronger.

Of course a lot with all the happy times, there were plenty of laughs!

"You won't think less of me if I get an epidural?" He laughed a little. "No, Baby, I won't. I think it might save our marriage."

and I think one of my all time favorite lines was this one:

"As far as I could tell, Mattie was possibly the easiest baby to take care of in the history of newborns. The morning passed calmly enough. No real crying or issues, and Mattie did well too."

I love Anie Michaels writing and can't wait to read more from her!

Porter freaking Masters

This book is everything you could ever want in a true romance. Porter is the kind of man all women dream about. He's 100% alpha. He is strong and protective and loves with everything in him. Ella has come into her own in this book, finding the strength and courage she never knew she had. Together they are such a great couple. Their love for each other is combustible and soul consuming. Then there's Mattie!!! When a couple as loving and passionate as Porter and Ella have a child, you can feel the love leap off the pages. I enjoyed every written word of this book. Thank you Anie Micheals!

I continue to be impressed by the growth I see in this author with each new book I read. I've loved Ella and Porter's story from the beginning, and this book did a great job of bringing them to a happy place my heart wanted them to get to. It had ups and downs and conflict that I didn't see coming, all without it being over-the-top or farfetched. Good job, Ms. Michaels. You made a very long day of flying much more enjoyable for me. I recommend this book, and I look forward to seeing more great things come from the mind and fingertips of this author.

started out nice and really sweet but then towards the middle she detonates a grenade, just like the other books.

I think because of the drama in books 1 and 2 I couldn't settle and relax as I read book 3. I kept waiting for the traumatic event that would come and sweep away Porter and Ella's happiness.

When they had to rush to the hospital again - seriously my heart was in my throat and I could not read fast enough to make sure everything was ok.

I have loved Ella and Porter's story since book 1 and so glad this actually ended on a positive. I am happy to let the series go with this ending, not sure if i need to read the rest of the series just yet.

I finished this book, but barely. I skipped pages at a time and not once was I confused as to what was happening, mostly because nothing happened. It was basically stating over and over how hot Porter is and how fantastic and many many sex scenes. This trilogy could have been one book and a novella. I think trilogies became a thing and every author did one. The result is a repetitive story that becomes tedious to read.

I loved the conclusion of Porter & Ella's story. I really loved the prior two books and this book was a great addition to it. I LOVED it. It had me interested from start to finish. Great plot, great character building, great characters and very well written. Not a standalone, you really need to read the books in there order to follow along nicely but each book is great so it's no hardship

It may have just been because I was listening to the audiobook, but I just can't take any more of Porter's (over)reactions and tones. I also got tired of all the sex scenes in the books and the lack of significant activities going on.

Ella and Porter’s romance continues with glorious highs and devastating lows but their love and commitment never wanes as they continue to deal with her tumultuous past and the ghosts that haunt them. I loved both characters and was so impressed with Ella’s emotional strength and her commitment to becoming the wife and mother she was always meant to be. I listened to the audiobook version and I enjoyed the narration performances of Aletha George and Nelson Hobbs.

Never Giving Up could not have released soon enough! Anie Michaels has continued Ella and Porter’s journey in this beautifully written and emotionally charged story. This couple has managed to steal a little more of my heart with this book, as they learned to never stop fighting for what they have. In this novel, Anie has managed to capture the bliss of a hard-fought happily ever after, along with both the ferocity of protecting what was so hard to grow and the challenges of starting a life together. I felt every moment of this story in my gut, as it resonated within me on a very basic human level. With each book she writes, Anie Michaels’ growth as a writer becomes more and more evident, allowing her readers to reach a new level of complete escape in her stories.

As always, the secondary characters take me by surprise. They play such small roles in the overall story, but their presence packs a powerful punch. Each interaction between a secondary character and main character reveals a little bit more about the depth and personality of our couple. I was so overwhelmed by the piece of Brittany’s story we were given. Anie made sure her and Ella’s pasts started to come into focus in an unexpected way. How Ella handled things with Brittany spoke volumes about her character and it made me love her even more. I loved the bits and pieces of Kalli that Anie fed us in this book, leaving me hopeful that we will be hearing her story soon.

Anie Michaels skillfully juggles the joy and unconditional love this couple experiences with both the pain of healing from a hurtful past and the electric connection they share. Even though our couple is settling in, we don’t lose that steamy and combustible chemistry that makes these two so utterly fantastic. Never Giving Up has a little bit of everything, including instants of suspense and tear-inducing moments. This story is vibrant, full of life, and at times heart wrenching. It is raw, fun, and completely unique to this couple. Ella and Porter’s adventures are genuine and full of heart, Never Giving Up is poignant, honest, and sexy as hell, leaving me with a huge smile on my face and the need for more of these characters as soon as possible.

I swear this series is SO UNDERRATED!! This series needs to pop off and get the recognition it deserves. I have read the series twice and plan on reading it again soon. I absolutely love all the characters. Each book has the perfect amount of spicy Romance and drama. I recommend The Never series to all my social media book clubs in hopes they add it to their TBR list.
