Good start to a new series. Tabitha has come home to help pick up the pieces after the death of brother Mark. Tabby finds her mother’s house in a state of disrepair. The flower shop is also not doing well, as her mom has lost custody a new bigger more complete shop which opened across the street. Tabby worries about the future, and how she can convince her mom to make changes

Meanwhile, a missing piece is Declan, her brother’s best friend. What second chances are in store? How can her mother rebuild after losing a child? Since Tabitha is divorced can she relocate?

My heart broke for Tabby and her mom. It cannot be easy to lose a child suddenly. I cried for their loss upon reading of Mark's passing. This book is about second chances on a lost love, losing a family member, being their for family, and trying to navigate life without a pivotal member of the family. This story promises more tears as Tabby and Declan navigate life back in their old town. Secrets promise to be unveiled and new beginnings explored. A great start to a new story.

The characters were friendly and very kind. They had great fondness of their community. The twists and turns were fun and very interesting. I really enjoyed this book from start to finish.

Love the flower shop vibe. Some sad parts due to a sudden death in the family.
