Some of these poems really hit, and did not let go. I thank the writer for their words.

Loan writes in a way that captures the overlooked and makes them the star of the show. The poems were amazing but the travel diary where he talks about the little girl in the blue dress was my favorite

While sitting in my room I rip open a package with a book in it. I read, “tales and ink” by Loan Wendling. I got really excited and I didn’t put the book down once I started flipping through the pages, while trying to hold back tears and more emotions.

I truly do love this book.

Bravo for this courage, for this rare alchemy that transforms the personal into the universal, the secret into shared experience. These poems are not just read—they are lived, they resonate long after the last line. A work that lingers, that unsettles, that elevates.

I’ve been looking forward to the print version of Tale and Ink’s work, and here it is. It did not disappoint, read it within an hour, and it evokes fantastic emotions and memories. The “My Words to God” section is one of the best pieces of poetry I’ve had the fortune of reading this year.

"Tales and Ink" by Loan Wendling is a fascination poetry book, and even that is an understatement. I have been following him for a few years now and his work always spoke to me in ways I couldn't speak to myself, reading Loan Wendling's words made me feel less lonely, and more myself. All I want to say to Loan Wendling is, if you ever read this, I hope you know that "Tales and Ink," the book as well as the page has changed the lives of many people around the globe, so please keep on doing what you're doing and keep on changing the world, one day at a time.

I have been trying to read more poetry, but finding authors that I connect with has been difficult. The TikTok algorithm paid off for once, stumbling across the work of Loan Wendling. I read two poems and that was enough for me to buy the book. This is a deeply personal and powerful journey, so much of I instantly connected with. You don't read this work, you feel it.

I love how tales and ink extends his hands through his words and touches a version of us we forgot existed.
