Free Me is a spin off story from Laurelin Paige’s Fixed Trilogy. It can be read as a standalone (It was my first book by her, and I had no trouble following). I listened to the audio edition of this book. The narration was good, and the story… HOT! We had a lot of heat, but just enough emotion, suspense and drama to make it a good story too.
Gwen hasn’t had an easy life growing up. Now that she’s older and independent, she makes her own choices and does what she wants. She manages a club, stays single and she’s okay with that. She doesn’t really believe in love… Then she meets JC at her club. A like minded guy who isn’t interested in a relationship, but sex. Just sex. With her. They have an arrangement of sorts. They have rules. The more time they spend together, the easier those rules start to break and Gwen’s walls start to fall.
So what do you do when you’ve promised not to get involved. Promise not to feel for someone… then you do. You start to fall for them. It’s not an easy place for Gwen to be. On top of dealing with her feelings, she’s also dealing with a ton of family drama and trying to find out the secrets JC is obviously hiding from her.
I really loved Gwen’s character- and her sister and brother were great too. JC is a hard one for me. There were times I really did love him, but then… seriously? That ending was just jaw dropping. I couldn’t believe that something like that would happen. It wasn’t even the secrets revealed (which was a part of the story I thought worked well), but what happened… I can’t even go there. All I can say is book 2 can’t come soon enough! I need to know what happens with these two!
If you’re looking for a book with lots of steam, mystery and some romance, this was one I enjoyed. I’m anxious for the next one, thats for sure!

I don't even know where to start with this book. My emotions and thoughts are a big jumbled mess!! Laurelin Paige NEVER ceases to amaze me. There's a reason why she is my favorite author. It's because she is a writing GODDESS!!!
We caught a glimpse of Gwen in The Fixed Trilogy. I was instantly intrigued by her than. And fell in love with her in Free Me. We learn of her horrid past, we learn of her brother Ben (who I think should have his own little novelette because, yeah..I absolutely loved him!!) And we learn more about Norma. Where as at one time I disliked her, I now understand Norma. And have such mad respect for her.
Gwen is guarded. So guarded. She is controlled, disciplined, and comes across as dull. She has her reasons. But when she meets JC (major swoon) he sees the potential in her. He sees a beautiful, breathtaking, lost soul. He wants to bring color back in her life, give her reasons to want to live, and lots of orgasms! He wants to free her. They come to an arrangement. No feelings. Just sex. But we all know that those lines always blur, and get all twisted and messy. But sex with JC. Good god. How can you NOT fall!! This is another reason why Laurelin is my favorite. She's got this way with the way she writes her men. Hudson Pierce has been a long running contender as my all time favorite BBF. But then I meet Reeve. And just WOW!! And then I finally meet JC. And you know what. Laurelin has turned me into a total book whore. And I'm ok with that!! It's the way she writes them. The way each and everyone just simply casts a spell on you. I'm happy to say that JC has been added to this group! He is guarded as well. You know he's hiding secrets too. Which is why he is probably drawn to Gwen. They are alike in certain ways. I love how he calls her out. And how he breaks down her walls. He is filled with such raw compassion, emotion, oozes sexuality. And he is exactly what Gwen needs.
When Gwen's horrific past comes back. It is JC who is there to protect her. Comfort her. Heal her. And this is that pivotal point where your heart just squeezes. And you feel hopeful for these two. But you know how when you let your guard down, you sometimes get knocked on your ass..yeah. And this is where my heart broke. For both of them. And this is where I will end my review because I don't do spoilers. I will not rob you of the emotions I felt while reading this. Laurelin's writing is beautiful, heartbreaking, haunting. Her words stick with you. They make you feel all the things!! I can't even count the times I broke out in goosebumps from her words. There's a reason why 2 of Laurelin's books that I've read this year are on my all time favorite list. It's because she is one of the most brilliant writers. If you have not yet 1-clicked this gem of a book, you truly must!

Brilliant. Seductive. Emotional. Suspenseful. Laurelin Paige has done it again with her sexy, protective, alpha males. Move over Hudson Pierce, it's JC's time to shine! FIXED Series fans REJOICE! Laurelin Paige is back with the first book in The Found Duet series and it is INCREDIBLE! This FIXED Series spin-off is SO MUCH more than I could have hoped for. Superb writing, intense chemistry between characters, a suspenseful and emotional storyline, FREE ME is a prime example of Ms. Paige doing what she does best, satisfying a romance reader's every need, every demand, and every fantasy.
No strings attached turns into SO MUCH more in this amazing angst-ridden love story. Sex, secrets, and deception is the name of the game. FREE ME is chock-full of sizzling sex scenes, emotional and passionate interactions, and a dirty talking gorgeous man who is battling his own demons while trying to not fall in love with a woman who seems to be breaking down his walls, brick by brick.
You will find yourself staying up all night to finish this book! You will find yourself rooting for Gwen and JC's relationship! I was truly blessed to be one of the very first people to read the finished amazingness that is this book, Free Me. Free Me is a spin off novel and the first book in a new duet from the bestselling, totally talented Laurelin Paige.
Gwen Anders is first introduced to us in Forever with You, book 3 in the Fixed Series, when she begins working at the Sky Launch for Alayna. We know very little about her, except that she is hiding from someone or something. I can honestly say I never thought in a million years that I would love this book, as much as I loved Hudson and Alayna’s story, but I was so very wrong. I fell completely in love with Gwen and JC. Gwen is a woman that has tried desperately to put her troublesome past behind her. Her sister Norma, and her brother Ben have had a pretty crappy childhood. Suffering from a violent and abusive father, they are closely bonded, and would do whatever it takes to protect each other. The relationship between them is genuine and touching. Norma being the oldest, she’s sacrificed a lot in order to ensure her siblings safety and happiness. Gwen loves her brother and sister fiercely and to that end, she’s not allowed herself to love anyone else. She doesn’t believe that she needs it. She fears it in some ways I think. She only needs them. She loves her job at the Eighty Eighth Floor, she gets along well with her co-workers, admires her boss and, most important of all, she remains in control at all times.
“I did like my job. It was steady and rhythmic. Managing gave me the opportunity to be no-nonsense and harsh. It was how I preferred to be. Cold. Hard. In Charge”
Being spontaneous is simply not who Gwen Anders is. Everything goes up in smoke when JC, handsome stranger, brash, and completely arrogant appears in her life. JC’s the kind of man you can’t help but get swoony in the presence of. He sees people in a way that strips them bare, he’s upfront, honest, but at the same time a complete mystery. He is a contradiction. A business man who regularly rents the Viper room in the club every Tuesday night (Gwen’s regular day off) to entertain associates, he’s used to getting exactly what he wants, when he wants it. Gwen is completely unprepared for the chaos that erupts when this man makes his appearance in her life. Caught up in the whirlwind that is JC, Gwen begins to question everything.
Why should she have to be so uptight all the time? What would it feel like to let go, even for a few moments? Is it possible for her to be happy? Is it possible to be free?
“What would it be like to be that uninhabited? To be that unrestrained?”
This book made me feel so many things; I had an epic book hangover afterwards. I had every feel possible, because it was impossible not to. Paige creates the most beautiful, sexy, emotional books, they give you all the things you want and even the ones you didn’t know you needed. Her storytelling and characters are magnificent. She delivers yet another bestseller here, I’m saying this now on the record, this is “that book”. The one that everyone is, once again, going to be shouting, raving and gushing about. She somehow always manages to make her next book better than the last. It’s a talent not many authors have, but all aspire to.
Beware there is a pretty huge cliff hanger at the end, when I flipped the page and realized it was over, I wanted to launch my kindle against the room! I needed more, I’m left hanging again, I need answers I need closure. GAHHHH! Free Me, is completely seductive, impassioned, captivating and devastating. I absolutely adored this book, bring on Find Me…I’m ready!

I love The Fixed Trilogy series and I love Audio books so when I heard there was an audio version of Free Me, well I was all over that.
Two things I LOVED
There’s LOTS LOTS LOTS of hot SEX!!!! (yeah you like it)
JC is a dick, correction, JC is a SEXY dick
Gwen + JC
Gwen is a tough cookie. She doesn’t have the best childhood and because of that she guards her heart. She’s a career woman and loves her job. She manages one of the hottest clubs.
Gwen takes a shift from her friend and works a night she doesn’t usually work. She meets JC, a regular, who likes to rent out the private room. A private room with topless women and drunken men.
CRAZY?! Yet I love it.
JC is sexy, rich and arrogant. He loves women. He likes to watch them, touch them and have sex with them.
I love how Gwen and JC first meet! I was embarrassed for Gwen. JC notices Gwen and thinks she is beautiful, a little too straight lace, but sees something in her. He wants to free her. Gwen doesn’t want anything to do with JC, but she can’t help her attraction towards him.
Then things get really really really hot.
My Thoughts…
I love the relationship between Gwen and JC. I thought the banter in the beginning was completely funny and I laughed so many times. I loved how domineering JC is and I loved how Gwen doesn’t really let JC jerk her around.
Gwen puts a lot of pressure on herself. When she gets a little too stressed she goes to JC to help her be less stress … by having sex with her. It’s great. I promise. JC helps Gwen loosen up and Gwen tries to get to know JC.
I loved reading how Gwen tries push JC as well. There is some mysterious element towards him, like I said, I’m all about that. The pace works for me and I get so much character development, buildup and just good meat.
Audio
The Audio version of Free me is fantastic. The narrator reads at a quicker pace, so those of you that have a problem with how “slow” audio books are, this one isn’t. She does great voice variations and she keeps you completely engrossed in the read. I had my speaker on at times and my husband was getting turned on!
If you like the Fixed Trilogy you will love Free Me. If you want to try a Laurelin Paige book, start with Free Me. If you want something with lots of steam and a crazy awesome story, READ FREE ME.

As J.C. begins to show Gwen how to let loose and have fun, they develop a no strings attach monogamous relationship. The story is told from Gwen’s POV and I found it so odd, but Gwen was very anti commitment. Normally it’s the other way around, but Gwen has been through so much and she isn’t ready to let J.C. or anyone else with the exception of her family in.
They set all these ground rules to protect themselves, to keep their lives completely separate. But as you can guess things do begin to progress and real feelings develop. This is not your average sexy story, that was obvious, but I definitely didn't see the twist coming. I will say despite how upset it made me, I am definitely hooked for more!
This one is crazy hot, I mean super-hot and of course I loved that. I wish there was more of a story early on and after that ending I am not sure how I feel. I can say one thing, I am dying to see what comes next.
I listened to the audio version of this book and really enjoyed it. The female narrator did a great job executing the male and female roles. I would definitely listen again!

As a fan of Laurelin Paige's "The Fixed Trilogy", I have been excited to begin this spin off series ever since it was first released. This week, I finally got the chance and I'm happy to say that I was not disappointed. Yet again, Laurelin has delivered a fantastic and addictive series and I can't wait for more. "Free Me" was a sexy and mysterious read that was full of twists and turns and left me guessing until the very end.
This spin off series centred around Gwen. If you've read "The Fixed Trilogy", you may remember Gwen as Norma's sister, the girl who went to work in The Sky Launch alongside Alayna (but to be honest, you really do not need to have read that series first). "Free Me" can be read as a standalone (However, I do recommend reading "The Fixed Trilogy" because it is brilliant!).
Following a traumatic childhood, Gwen had learned to hide her emotions well. To most people she was closed off, refusing to open her heart to anyone. Gwen was happy to live her life without any kind of relationship so when she first met J.C, she refused to give into the attraction that she felt for him and walked away.
J.C being the relentless man he was offered Gwen an arrangement that she couldn't refuse. An arrangement that suited her perfectly. A chance of a relationship based on sex and nothing else. No emotions involved so no one would get hurt. Exactly the kind of relationship that Gwen could handle...or so she thought!
From the word go, J.C was a mystery. For starters, he refused to share his real name or anything else about him. Despite the mystery, I did really like him. He appeared to be a good guy and he was very sexy, but that didn't sway my judgement at all! lol. J.C was caring and thoughtful and I had a good feeling about him. It was a delight to see Gwen grow and accept her true feelings but as she was making her own emotional breakthrough it appeared that J.C was going in the opposite direction. J.C became closed off and struggled with how Gwen was changing him. I worried about what the future held for J.C and Gwen. Yikes, things were not looking good!

The first part of the book was a little slow paced but it soon picked up and I discovered that I couldn't put my kindle down, reading way past my bedtime. Laurelin threw in some unexpected twists and surprises and for the last 30% I don't think I breathed! I was dreading what would happen but at the same time I couldn't wait to find out. As with most series' this story left me with a lot of unanswered questions and I can't wait to get the answers.Bring on the concluding book. I can't wait!!!

I loved the 'Fixed' series by this author, so I had high hopes for this one. Unfortunately, although this one was good, it failed to meet my expectations. It just didn't rise to the level that 'Fixed on You' did, for me.
Gwen works as a manager at the hottest nightclub in the city. She's emotionally closed-off, standoffish and uptight. A stickler for the rules, she naturally swings into action when she hears that things are getting a little out of control in one of the club's VIP rooms.
JC is the charismatic, uninhibited, mystery man that has the VIP room reserved every Tuesday night. He is immediately attracted to Gwen, despite her frigid demeanor. One meeting is all it takes for him to decide that he's up for the challenge and he sets out to thaw Gwen's icy exterior.
With minimal resistance from Gwen, the two decide to enter into a weekly, sex-only arrangement. While the sex was pretty hot, I never really connected with this story or the characters. I was over half-way through before I felt minimally vested in the story.
Once it got going, it was good, but not great. There was a big twist/shocker toward the end, but it was resolved almost too quickly. Then the story is put on "hold" until the second book is released in the series. No major cliffhanger, but no satisfying resolution either. I might continue the series at a later date, but it won't be a top priority for me.
As an aside, I alternated between reading the Kindle version and listening to the Audible version. The narrator did a great job, so if you're going to give this one a try, the audiobook is worth a try.

Before I begin my review, I wanted to thank Laurelin Paige for her gift. I had the extreme pleasure of receiving a copy of Free thanks to a giveaway on Obsessed with the Paige group.
As I know Laurelin will read this review, I also wanted to tell her how her series Fixed brought me. It's thanks to Fixed on You that I started reading in English. At the time, I was reading books in French and when a blog has started talking about this new author who came from the other side of the ocean, and after I read the blurb, I quickly wanted to read it. But with the language barrier, I didn't feel capable and comfortable enough to read a whole book in English. A few months later, I take the chance by reading another author and very shortly after I began the story of Alayna and Hudson.
I completely fell in love and in awe of this couple, book and writing style. Hudson is and still is the one I talked about as my book husband and despite the 200 books I read this year; no one can take his place ♥
So Thank You Laurelin for creating this character and this perfect couple

Gwen seemed lost, a little bitter and I was wondering what had happened to her. I have long thought that she would fall in love with Chandler, Hudson 's brother but I was even happier when in fact not, we take the story from the beginning and we will discover in Gwen in her past element
Before going any further, I should mention that this series can be read as a stand-alone without worry. Nothing is mixed between the two series. I have discovered Gwen somewhere else but you will definitely not be lost if you read this series and not the other (although I just advise you personally read all of Laurelin Paige ... Who says I'm not objective: p)
Gwen is a serious young woman that leaves little room for fun in her life. She works in a night club and a little bit particular schedules.
The story starts immediately; we quickly meet JC and his mystery side. Soon questions start to appear. Who is he? What does it do? What does he want?
Gwen will quickly be swept away by this mysterious man whom she's very much attracted to and she thus try to be very careful around him.
JC on his side is very clear, he doesn't want to get attached, he doesn't want a relationship, he doesn't want personal details, he just
When he convinces Gwen to leave him a chance to explain what he wants her, he made her understand that she must learn to relax and what better way to do it spending time with him once a week in a hotel room?

This story had almost everything to be perfect! Again Laurelin carried me away into a world and towards very endearing characters. I like the fact that she doesn't insist too much on Gwen issues. We can feel her past is heavy but we discovered gradually throughout the story. Gwen is a strong woman who knows what she wants, who knows how she is and she accepts herself completely. On one hand, she wants to change and be a little less uptight and it's thanks to JC that she will see her life in a different way.
Of course as this story is based on a purely sexual relationship, there are some steamy scenes! JC is a dirty talker just like I l like
The only small thing that didn't really work for me and so I wasn't totally blown away is precisely the character of JC. Despite his mysterious side and his alpha-male side, I'm not entirely convinced. He stayed a little too mysterious to me and even if he revealed some of him at the end, some of his actions didn't please me.
I think we will learn more about him in the second book, what he did and I am so excited to be able to fall in love with his character

In typical LP fashion she writes a steamy erotic love tale that is shrouded in mystery. She keeps the tone somewhat aloof yet serious while making you feel like WTF is going on.
MY RAVES: I really liked Gwen, a lot. She has her head on straight. She is a thinker, a knower of right and wrong. She lives responsibly yet wants so desperately to let loose and lose herself in something that makes her feel pleasure, pain...overall free. I also loved the steamy intimacy that LP writes. she keeps the kink hot and the sexual banter scorching. I always know that she will deliver the hot exactly how I like it.
MY RANTS: JC....shut the front door. WTF Dude? I just did not like this man as I could not connect with him. HOT then Cold, Dominant yet Vulnerable, Aloof then Intense, Carefree then Tortured. He was a complete enigma. I feel as if he just appeared and his story never really broke thru to where I could relate to him. I just could not get into he and Gwen's arrangement...hot as it was...it didn't get it!
DO NOT EVEN GET ME STARTED ON THAT ENDING! WTF?
So I sit here on the fence. I felt like I binged on rich chocolate while on a strict diet. I wanted this...I devoured the guilty pleasure, but just got left feeling blah!

OMG! I absolutely fell in love with this book! Like, I need to re-read it already and I don’t EVER re-read books! It was full of such emotion: heartache, love, family, laughter, regret, and angst.
We were introduced to Gwen, Norma’s sister, in the Fixed Trilogy and I was intrigued to learn that she was getting her own story. Due to an abusive past, Gwen lives her life in a certain, strict way. Most would call her uptight, but it’s the only way she knows how to survive. Until one night when she met JC.
JC is a business man who gets what he wants, when he wants it. However, Gwen proves to be a challenge. The two enter a physical, sex only arrangement; no details necessary except for when and where they meet. It allowed Gwen to open up and finally have some fun in her life. And it was HOT as HELL!
“I could see the gleam of pre-cum already on his cock, and I wanted it on me. In me. Wanted him to mark me and take me.”
Their arrangement works well for both of them until those pesky feelings get involved; the one rule that was a big no-no in their arrangement. We get to watch as both Gwen and JC deal with past issues and try to overcome them to be better people and possibly be together.
“JC had unwound me so completely, in fact, that I didn’t even let it bother me that he stirred other emotions in me too. Emotions that I hadn’t bargained for. He made me feel beautiful.”
I loved that we got a glimpse of Hudson & Alayna again as well! It was neat to see how the stories coincided in their time lines.

Sooo. I read Free Me. And guess what?? I freaking loved it!!!! Ooooohhh wait until you meet JC! Gwen's life completely changes, like she's a whole other person after JC. Everythings starts as a sort of a game, a way to help Gwen loosen up, she wants to be less uptight, well let me tell you... it works!! Their sex scenes are S M O K I N G! JC wants everything to be kept secret, theres is something going on, why? Why the top secret status? Gwen can't brake through his walls, but then again, she might not want to, she has secrets of her own, and she wants no ties either. And then, feelings run deeper, secrets are not fun anymore... Oooh I can't say no more, just wait, I can't wait until you all read this. And Hudson makes appearances! Eeeeek!!! Loved and can't wait for the next book!

This book has it all...romance, sex, humor, twists, a little darkness. It is the perfect combination of sexy and raw with beautiful and descriptive words that pierce right through your soul. Free Me is pure addiction.
Ice Queen, Gwen Anders, Norma's younger sister from the Fixed Series, looks like Elsa from Frozen, and acts cool and as hard as ice.

Managed to squeeze in this read on my flight home and while I loved the Fixed trilogy from this same author, I was left a little disappointed with this one. I didn't really connect to JC's character and he was a little too flamboyant for my liking. The story was also a little dragged out for the most parts and I just didn't really buy Gwen and JC's "connection".
And I just got really pissed with JC at the end with the whole , seriously did not see that coming and kinda ruined the story for me. Not sure if I'll be reading the next one but maybe to cure my curiosity to see how they both end up.

Wow !!! I've waited a long time for this book and Laurelin has done it once again this book was absolutely amazing .
Gwen's story was a HOT , suspenseful sexy read .. Gwen is beautiful, strong and a bit uptight . She meets the panty melting Alpha, HOT off the charts JC !! (Swoon) And everything changes . I can not wait for more !!!!

JC is another Alpha Male that is introduced by Laurelin Paige. He is charming, mysterious, smooth talker, sexy, relaxed and ready to break down all the walls that Gwen Anders has put around her body and heart. I liked him. I liked the way he approaches Gwen, I loved the way that he makes her feel special.
Gwen had a rough childhood. Still she and her siblings are not safe. Her past will be back and JC will also become her protector. I like Gwen is a fighter. She is sexy, clever and willing to open up if she finds the right catalyst.
The main problem is that JC has also his own past that haunts him. And he is not that stable or that available.
Overall I liked their story, but I have to admit that the ending of the book disappointed me. The book has one of the most awkward twists that I have ever read in a romance novel.
So this made me give the book 2 stars less than I intended.

Sexy. Naughty. Sinful. Delicious. Suspenseful. Sensual. Explosive.
This book was crazy good. I have been a fan of this author since the Fixed Trilogy and let me tell you, she blew this new series right out of the park with Free Me, a sexy spin off series sure to light your e-reader on fire. This book is a love story but was unique. It was intense, emotional, and had quite a few twists and turns along the way with one hell of an ending.
This is Gwen and JC's book. From the very first page, this author sucked me in and gave me the beginning of an explosive love story only to leave me wanting so much more at the end. We briefly met Gwen in the Fixed Trilogy and now it is time for her story. Gwen was a touch nut to crack at times but she had her reasons. And JC was such a complicated man who is crazy sexy alpha with a filthy mouth so we have to swoon over him.
A no strings affair between two people who don't want commitment sounds easy, right? It never is especially when you start to fall for the other and your walls stat crumbling down. The chemistry between JC and Gwen was sizzling and smothering at times. JC was so HOT that I am super excited for more of him in the next book. I loved watching their relationship flourish.
I highly recommend this book!

I couldn't fully connect with the characters...and just praising the hotness of the sex scenes can't really hold my interest for as long as one might think...
Plot was ok but nothing that would knock me off my feet either....
And the twist...the cliffy wasn't really as suspensful as i expected...leaving me completely meeek about the further resolvement of their story...

- A hero who plays piano.....be still my heart
- I am really not a fan of books that don’t have dual POV’s. Therefore it was hard to understand JC‘s feelings. So when he declared his desire to be committed to Gwen it kind of felt out of left field. There was no build up to understanding he felt that way, so it didn’t work for me
- The “marriage” twist at the end. Are you kidding me!!!! So unnecessary and didn’t work with the story. Why would he even do that if he needed to hide.
- I liked the relationship between the siblings and my heart broke for them for what they went through.

If you loved Laurelin’s Fixed Trilogy like I did, you are sure to fall in love with Free Me. Free Me is about Gwen, Gwen is a character from the Fixed trilogy. She was the new manager for The Sky Launch that Hudson Pierce was opening. This is how the two series are tied but this book can be read without reading The Fixed Trilogy.
Gwen is a hard ass, follow the rules type of women. She doesn’t let people take advantage of her or let herself be anyone’s door mat. She developed such a hard exterior from the abusive up bringing she lived through as a child. Gwen keeps everyone at a arms length, never letting anyone besides her sister and brother get close. She is a manager at club Eighty-Eight, one of the most booming clubs in New York. One night while working she meets JC. He offers to help her relax, and loosen up. Even though Gwen is attracted to JC she lets her inner bitch shine, because even though what he is offering is alluring it’s way outside of her comfort zone.
The idea of it sex- with this irritating stranger-it stirred me in places I hadn’t realized could stir.
We learn very little about JC but I couldn’t help but wonder about this mysterious man. He books the Viper room in the Eighty-Eight club where Gwen works every Tuesday night. JC has looks and charm that would make any women weak in the knees, and want to get to know him better. He promises that he could help Gwen learn how to let go, loosen up, and enjoy life a little. JC leaves the ball in Gwen’s court on his pursuit to “help”.
I was upset because his guesses were right. I did want to be free. I was a tight-ass. I was boxed in. I existed on routine and missed a whole helluva lot of pleasure.
Can JC break down Gwen’s walls that she so firmly has in place? Can Gwen learn to live life a little and enjoy what JC is offering?

When I saw that Laurelin was releasing a new book I couldn’t have been more excited. I love the way she writes, it’s so detailed, the characters are very well written, the sex is beyond hot, and the story that revolves around Gwen and JC is for sure a page turner. Laurelin has an ability to write characters that hold you captive, and leave you wanting more. JC and Gwen for sure do that, I couldn’t put Free Me down at times because I was so drawn in to the book and had to know what would happen next.
So for now I will be slightly stalking Laurelin for any crumb she gives us about the next book Find Me, where Gwen and JC’s story will continue.

We first met Gwen in the 3rd installment of the Fixed Trilogy, Forever With You. The sister of Hudson's right-hand woman, Norma, at Pierce Industries, Gwen has a wonderful story all her own. I fell in love with Gwen in this one...and JC, of course. Gimme more of him, please.
Honestly, I didn't think I'd love this story as much as I loved Hudson's, but I really did love it. I don't want to give anything away, but I can say that I laughed...and may have teared up a little. I had anxiety, and now...I have CLIFF! Now I have to wait to see how the story ends, but I KNOW it will be well worth the wait for Find Me.
Laurelin never disappoints.

Just couldn't stop reading...
I love it when an author has the ability to get you so engrossed in the story that hours can go by without even realizing it. I could not stop reading this and found myself in the wee hours of the night just going and going.
Laurelin Paige has a beautiful gift for writing the kind of stories that wind you up, make you sweat, and piss you off too. This awesome read ends on a cliffhanger and UGHHHHHHHH! why we have to be tortured like that, I just don't know. But the story was so good!
Definitely going to be picking up the 2nd part just coz I have to know the ending! So freaking hot too! Super sexy and loaded with emotional stuff that keeps you wantingmore and more for this writer I love her work!

This book was so good! The scenes were hot! JC is one sexy guy. Gwen is very likable. They make a casual arrangement. But you know how those go! Feelings and emotions always get involved!

After falling in love with Laurelin's writing after reading The Fixed Trilogy I knew that I would love Free Me. I loved Gwen, and getting the background of why she was the way she was. I absolutely loved JC more! JC definitely gave Hudson some competition.
Once again Laurelin wrote an amazing story and I can't wait for book 2!
