This Series will cover a brand new set of characters that are ex-cons (Or can they be ex-cons if they escape from prison?) and the one true loves. This book will be Cross's book.
Lani Lynn Vale is married to the love of her life that she met in high school. She fell in love with him because he was wearing baseball pants. Ten years later they have three perfectly crazy children and a cat named Demon who likes to wake her up at ungodly times in the night. They live in the greatest state in the world, Texas. She writes contemporary and romantic suspense, and has a love for all things romance. You can find Lani in front of her computer writing away in her fictional characters world...that is until her husband and kids demand sustenance in the form of food and drink.
I always enjoy a LLV book. She knows how to write crazy, humorous, and sweet stories. Weaver and Eddy were great together and while there wasn’t any angst with the two of them, there was plenty of crazy angst with Eddy’s family and Weaver’s backstory. I’m sure we haven’t heard the last of either of those stories, that were introduced in this book. Eddy’s sister is getting a book and it looked like Weaver’s sister will be getting one too- it was suggested that his sister could possibly be around.
Weaver Grant is living a different life after escaping prison and relocating to small town Montana. He has kept to his MC mostly and work, but when he is called in for a favor he can't stop thinking about Eddy Wheeler.
Edith "Eddy" Wheeler was raised in a strict religious home that to outsiders was something to be admired but within the walls was a nightmare. When she uncovers her parents secrets she reports them. Between the horrible knowledge of their actions and a bear attack, Eddy is floundering but Weaver is by her side. He has made it known he is not going anywhere. His past th0ugh is causing a problem will Eddy be by his side through it all though?
Very good. I loved Apollo's appearances in this one. So much was packed into the story and I am anxious to read who is next up in the series.
This is the third book in this phenomenal series, and this is Eddy and Weaver’s story. Eddy is a local schoolteacher and soccer coach, while Weaver is a sexy lineman with and emotional past. When Eddy walks in and witnesses something horrific, she is determined to expose her parents, to his followers. When Eddy ends up in hospital for a couple of weeks, Weaver does not leave her side and solves her problems for her. This is a well written, easy to read story, with family, friendships, emotions, tension, secrets, suspense, intrigue, drama, action, twists and turns, healing, humour, undeniable chemistry, and love, which leads to an entertaining, and unpredictable, addictive page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.
I received this book for free from Give Me Books Promotions in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review. This is my first Lani Lynn Vale book in a while, and it was as good as I remember her books were. While it was an MC romance, which are not my favorites, the MC was a small enough part of the story that I didn't mind it. The story itself had darkness, but not at all from the MC characters, but rather family and people that shouldn't be the ones you think of.
First were Eddy's parents, church leaders, and the terrible child abuse they were getting away with at the church. Not to mention the other townspeople who were helping them. And they hadn't even been great parents, Eddy and her sister both doing their best to get away from their family, until the day that Eddy walked in and found her parents doing something she had no idea they were really more than just abusive parents.
Then is Weaver, and the horrible man that his sister had been dating, and the impossible decision he'd had to make to save her. He'd gone to prison for it, but in prison had made a friend who helped him escape and start a new life. Part of the new life was becoming a part of the MC, made up of others like him who had been falsely accused or imprisoned and now were living a new life that was one they truly deserved. However they do now get called in occasionally by the person who helped them start over to help with other people needing help. And that is how he first meets Eddy.
While their relationship was a little insta-love for me, it wasn't so bad that it bothered me enough to quit. The lust, well that they gave into extremely fast. And so at first the book was pretty hot and heavy. Once again though, something got in the way of that, and also sent their feelings even faster towards the real thing, Eddy is attacked by a rabid bear. Wow, that was such an intense part of the story! So we do go through her surviving the bear attack and the recovery she must go through. Weaver of course takes her into his home and helps her on her way.
Now Weaver had to leave behind his parents and his daughter, and the sister that put him in jail. But that part of his life isn't over, and they soon are dealing with that aspect as well as when Eddy's parents are actually arrested, of course her parents decide to blame her for that. I have to say that one thing I really do like about this author's books, is that, even with the slightly fast timeline of falling in love, this means that in the end the drama we get isn't a break up. It is nice to read knowing that is probably how the story is going and I don't have to be irritated.
The story was very fast moving, and there were a few parts that I felt were jumpy like some things were left out or skipped over. But overall I really did enjoy it and if you like romantic suspense, a bad (not really) boy or MC club romance, with some pretty steamy bits, this one is for you!
One other thing I want to mention is that while they don't really have much to do with the actual story, the little quotes at the beginning of each chapter are fun, one of my favorites was chapter 21: I drive safer when there's food in my passenger seat than when there's a person sitting there. - Eddy to WeaverThis review was originally posted on Lisa Loves Literature
OMG...there was so much crazy things going on in this one! Every time you thought that was it, something else very over the top would happen were you would be laughing after the drama was done and shaking your head that you even read it.
I loved Eddy from the start and it seemed like there was a bad luck cloud over her head. Yet her attitude was so good! It was fun to see her with Weaver, they were cute together and it seems like they didn't hide their true selves from each other right from the start. It was nice that they had that connection because my god...did Eddy need the support from Weaver for all she went through. She was right there for Weaver too, when his past came out and back to visit.
I liked how this one ended, loved seeing them happy and without so much hanging over them.
Great story!! I loved Eddy and Nettie, Weaver is awesome, and Bossy is adorable! There is a LOT going on in the story too-Eddy and Nettie's horrible parents, a mean girl bully, a bear attack, a runaway teen, and a vengeful sister. It was a great read!
This is book 3 in the series and each one has been brilliant so far ! It’s as if with each book the series just gets better but I think it’s because with each book you get more invested with characters you’ve met before and they’ve now become family and friend #imweirdthatway#😍🙃
So Eddy walks in on her pastoral parents and company doing despicable things and she’s sick and shocked to her core but she does the right thing and heads straight to Sheriff Black with her evidence but clamping down on them and bringing them to justice isn’t going been clean cut and he calls on Apollo , Weaver and the Dixie Wardens MC to help him ….
Our introduction to Weaver and his sister Pippa was heartbreaking and nerve wracking to say the least and it ends up with a dead federal agent , a family torn apart and an innocent man serving life for a crime he didn’t commit and Apollo makes his appearance and gives him a fresh start in Montana along with the Dixie Wardens and company ….
Eddy and Weaver start off as “ crime fighters “ but there’s chemistry from the start and when she survives a bear attack Eddy has Weaver as her carer and he’s so good at it I feel like looking for a bear of my own 🙃🙈😵💫
Eddy and her twin Nettie are soccer stars but only nettie went pro because injuries ended Eddy’s career but she still coaches at the local high school and her players adore her and their bond is something special and I wish more kids had this ….
There was so much to keep me busy in this book , the disgusting parentals and their company being brought to justice , Pippa and Weaver reuniting albeit short lived ( she’s got a battle of her own to fight ) Boston getting to live with her dad and I must admit the 3 of them ( Eddy, Weaver , Boston ) make for a special family unit 🥰
I didn’t want this to end but knowing there’s more to follow placated me and believe you me when I tell you I’ve started the countdown for 14 April when book #4 release I just have to know what happens between Boone and Nettie because these 2 are off the charts with their love/ hate relationship 🙃
The next addition in the Don’t Date Him series by Lani Lynn Vale is here. Not a Side Chick is a small-town, slow burn romance filled with action, heat and secrets. Each book in the series can be read as a standalone in the interconnected series, but as always I recommend reading in order to get the most out of it.
In this book we have Edith “Eddy” and Weaver, two people that shoulder more than they should, who carry secrets that could rock the very foundation of their small, sleepy town. Eddy’s parents are hiding things from her, and when she uncovers their secrets she is shocked, but determined to make things right. As she starts to slowly uncover more, danger lurks in every corner. That’s when Weaver makes his debut. Weaver, a man that wears his own secrets plan as day on his face, a man no stranger to danger, but just the man to possibly help keep Eddy safe. As they draw closer, both Eddy and Weaver uncover not only the truth behind the town and its secrets but also the truth about one another. A truth they neither of them are ready for.
Ms. Author, how I adore how your beautiful brain works! Eddy is a true hometown sweet heart and Weaver is just what she needs. This story is the way it is because of the emotional angst and depth of its characters. Each of them is layered with so many things that once you think you have them figured out, you're pulling back another layer and learning something new. This is the best kind of slow burn, yes you wait for the spicy scenes, but trust me when I say, the wait is worth it. If you're looking for something to sink your teeth into, this is the weekend for it.
A slow-burn romance packed with secrets, danger, and heart—Not A Side Chick proves once again why Lani Lynn Vale is a master of emotional storytelling.
With Not A Side Chick, book three in the Don’t Date Him series, Lani Lynn Vale delivers another magnificent, moving, and heart-pounding romance that wraps suspense, emotion, and passion into one unforgettable story.
At the centre of this captivating novel are Edith “Eddy” Wheeler and Weaver Grant, two characters carrying far more weight on their shoulders than anyone realises. When Eddy stumbles upon a dark secret her seemingly upstanding parents have been hiding, she refuses to stay silent. Determined to expose the truth and protect her small community, she risks everything—even if it puts her directly in harm’s way.
But the moment Eddy thinks her life has reached its worst point, fate proves her wrong. The danger surrounding her grows, the stakes rise, and suddenly the world feels far more complicated than she ever imagined.
Enter Weaver Grant.
Weaver might just be the man who can turn Eddy’s worst days into something better—but he isn’t without secrets of his own. Beneath his steady exterior lies a heartbreaking truth that has shaped the man he’s become. As the layers of both their lives slowly unfold, the connection between them deepens into something powerful, tender, and impossible to ignore.
What makes this story shine is the emotional depth. Ms Vale weaves together suspense, family secrets, vulnerability, and healing, creating a slow-burn romance that feels authentic and hard-won. Eddy’s courage and Weaver’s quiet strength make them a couple you can’t help but root for from beginning to end.
And when these two finally find their way to each other? The payoff is everything—a romance built on trust, resilience, and a beautifully satisfying happily-ever-after.
If you like: • Slow-burn romance with emotional depth • Protective heroes with hidden scars • Strong heroines willing to fight for the truth • Small-town drama mixed with danger and suspense
Then Not A Side Chick deserves a spot on your TBR.
⭐ A gripping, emotional romance that proves love can rise even in the darkest of secrets.
Not a side chick by Lani Lynn Vale is book 3 in the Don’t Date Him Series. This book focuses on the characters Eddy and Weaver and boy is it a good one. Eddy is choosing her own path after distancing herself from her very churchy parents, but when she sees something, she shouldn’t, she knows that she can’t keep it to herself, enter Weaver a man with a plan to help her, but who is also fighting his own demons.
I loved the interaction between the two characters and when the unthinkable happens to Eddy, Weaver just steps up and does what he must do. I’m intrigued by Weaver and his sister’s story, and it will be interesting to see what comes of that, especially when she isn’t seen in a great light at the moment. But Weaver and Eddy are made for each other. Eddy is such a strong, brave and sassy character and she has a great relationship with her sister and people that she meets, especially Bossy, Weaver’s daughter who she just embraces straight away.
Weave is just such a great character, strong, dependable and sweet. He has the feels for Eddy as soon as he meets her and sees her internal beauty and strength and stays by her side through thick and thin, no matter what he himself is going through. He has a good group of friends who also have his back too which makes this such a great story.
Overall, I really enjoyed the addition to this series and can’t wait to see whose up next!
ARC received for a fair, honest and sometimes long review. All opinions are my own. 😊
Not a Side Chick is book three in the Don’t Date Him series by Lani Lynn Vale, and this time brings us the story of Weaver Grant. Every hero in this series has escaped prison, but so far Weaver is the only one who felt he was where he was supposed to be. His backstory is heartbreaking and I can’t imagine being in his shoes. Edith “Eddy” Wheeler is a teacher and girls soccer coach at the local high school. She’s also a preacher’s daughter who stumbles across something so vile involving her parents, she can’t keep it to herself.
This story is so unique in not only the way it’s told, but the characters as well. Weaver is charming, kind, and missing his daughter, Bossy, something crazy. Eddy is a breath of fresh air. She’s brave beyond words, feisty, and has a wicked sense of humor lol. I absolutely adored her. There are so many different levels of this story with their own twists and turns, that LLV kept me glued to the edge of my seat the whole time. And I love how she plants those easter eggs with hints and clues to stories to come. I’m definitely loving this series and I absolutely cannot wait for more!!
Escaped convict Weaver is asked to assist in uncovering a depraved local scandal involving the local Pastor and his wife. The woman needing his help just happens to be said Pastors daughter!
Eddy is the local girls soccer coach and has made no secret of the fact she doesn't share her parents religious obsessions. After seeking Weavers help, a whole series of unimaginable events take place and their lives become intertwined in a way they could never of predicted.
The relationship between Weaver and Eddy is one of protection and safety. Weaver is captivated by Eddy for reasons he can't explain and keeping her safe becomes his top priority. His past has caught up with him and is unravelling around him but Eddy has no intention in doing anything but saving him right back.
Heavier on the plot than spice, this was a was a really enjoyable read and unlike anything I'd read before. While it is Book 3 in the "Don't Date Him" series, it can absolutely be read as a standalone. It's a reasonably quick read, and what I love about Lani Lyn Vale books is that they're fast paced without the torture of slow burn heat waiting to combust.
I loved this one! I think this is my favorite of the series so far! Which it’s tough to choose because they have all been so good so far!
I was hooked right away! I couldn’t put this one down! There was never a dull moment that’s for sure!
I loved Eddy and Weaver so much! They were perfect for each other! One of the things that I love about this authors books is how everyone is part of a huge family (a made family, not necessarily made from blood) and will do anything for each other. This book was no exception. You will feel like you’re a part of the family, or maybe the family’s pet fly on the wall!
Everything played out so vividly in my mind. A big part of that was the audio. Definitely listen to the audio if you’re a fan of them. The narrators were so good! They made the authors words stand out and play out like a movie in my mind.
The only bad thing I have to say about this book is that it ended! I selfishly could have read so much more about these two!!! Luckily there is another book coming out soon that I can impatiently look forward to!!
So if you’re in the mood for a small town, grumpy/sunshine, forced proximity, suspenseful romance look no further!
We adored the characters we encountered in the story. Weaver was a charming character, compassionate, kind, and lovable. Eddy, on the other hand, was a spirited character, brave, kind, and loving with a wicked sense of humor. We were smitten with her from the moment we met her. Eddy's sister and Weaver's daughter also added a delightful dynamic to the story.
The plot was rich with elements of mystery, suspense, secrets unraveling, unexpected twists, love, laughter, and healing. Eddy truly shines as the central figure in the story. Despite facing challenges, she displays remarkable courage and resilience. She remains strong, brave, and optimistic, prioritizing the safety and well-being of Weaver's daughter amidst the turmoil.
The unexpected revelations will keep you engaged and intrigued. In conclusion, we felt that Weaver made a perfect choice in Eddy as a partner, and after enduring past hardships, he deserved some happiness. The blessings he received throughout the story warmed our hearts. We thoroughly enjoyed the story and found it captivating.
So many things to say about this one. But it was definitely a winner for me. I am freaking loving every single one of these new heroes in this series. Weaver was just another one to add to my list 😊
Eddy met Weaver when she kind of discovered some very deeply disturbing things about her parents, who runs the local church. Weaver was brought in to help her get more evidence against her parents. From there it was just a roller coaster of things happening.
A preacher’s daughter and an ex-con who ended up in jail just trying to protect his sister and his daughter. Now just living his life one day at a time.
There was so much happening, but I loved every minute of it. Lots of suspense, mystery, drama, secrets and most important love and laughter. If you love all of these things in your romance stories, then this story is just for you. And you won’t be disappointed if you start at book 1. I am totally eating up every single book in this series and don’t want it to end 😊
I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie's Book Reports.
This is the story of Eddy and Weaver. These two are the keeper of secrets that are not their own and they bare the weight of that. However, if these things got out it would send the small town they live in into a destructive tailspin. To add to all they have going on, she knows that her parents are keeping things from her and she is going to find out what they are hiding if it is the last thing she does. However, now that she knows she has to make this right. But she didn't know that figuring out what they have going on, danger would be right behind all of that. Weaver is a man that shows up with his own secrets. He is no stranger to danger and is maybe just maybe the man to keep Eddy safe. I know this is confusing, but I am trying my best to not reveal anything. I loved this book. I have loved all the books in this series. If you haven't read anything in this series, you are really missing out.
Fluff quick story. Eddy & Weaver. Very similar plot line to other books even in this series. The 'romance/love' aspect of the book was over before 50% and then we have the daughter who had been left behind. The sister who is in trouble and of course one of the other 'felons' immediately jumps to her rescue which I'm supposing that will be one of the next books.
There were some strange moments with the random bear attack and the discovery of what the pastor/wife/deacon/daughter were doing. Going to the depth of depravity they were doing, seems like they would have at least tried to sale the stuff they were 'making'. And then, of course the mother attacks the daughter. Always, always some parental side (usually the woman's) that is deranged and up to absolutely nasty stuff. Fluff reading honestly.
*******Also, I know the publicist/assistant is REALLY busy but for the sake of readers could you freaking put some effort into keeping up the book descriptions in Goodreads. It takes like 2 minutes. I know because I'm an author and have done that myself.
This book is a ride. I'm used to a LLV FMC having a hard time but I'm pretty sure Eddy has it worst. If not for her psycho parents it is a freaking bear attack. If anyone deserves a HEA with a supremely patient and supportive partner, it is Eddy. And in comes Weaver. He sees past the trauma, scars and headlines to the heart of her. All he wants is to help her heal and share his life alongside her. And in doing so, he is able to heal his own past.
My favourite thing about these two is the ease with which they build each other up and problem solve. These two will throw down for each other and their loved ones. Eddy embraces Weaver and his runaway daughter with such joy and openheartedness.
This romance has a little of everything... Suspense and underlying investigation, spicy times in the laundry room, sweet romance and tender caring, humour and belly laughs. An all round fun and satisfying love story for Eddy and Weaver.
Another incredible read from Lani Lynn Vale! This story had me completely hooked from beginning to end with its mix of suspense, emotional moments, and unexpected twists.
The dynamic between Eddy, a preacher’s daughter dealing with shocking truths about her family, and Weaver, an ex-con trying to move forward from his past, made for a compelling and unique love story. When danger enters Eddy’s life, Weaver becomes the steady support she needs, and their connection grows in a beautiful and powerful way.
Eddy is strong, funny, and incredibly easy to root for, while Weaver proves himself to be protective, loyal, and exactly the hero she needs. And Weaver’s daughter Bossy adds so much heart and charm to the story.
With mystery, suspense, humor, and romance all wrapped together, this was an unforgettable read. Definitely one I’ll be rereading!
Thank you Give Me Books Promotions and Lani Lynn Vale for providing me with an ARC of the book. All opinions are my own.
Vale's characters always draw you in quickly and take you on the ride of a lifetime! The next book in the Don't Date Him series brings us Eddy and Weaver. She's a soccer coach/teacher and he's a lineman/electrician. He is another of the escaped/thought to be dead convicts and has quite the back story. She's stumbled across a horror she needs help uncovering. Both characters are very likable and the connection they get upon meeting is instant and sweet. His back story was very emotional and I loved seeing him get to have his life back again. Her drama plays out throughout the book and is very addictive. Well developed characters, lots of angst and so much love and passion.
I highly recommend this book as well as the entire series to anyone who enjoys a redemption story with a guy who deserved better than he got and is making his way into a new life that plans on delivering just that. The storylines are gritty, emotional and heartfelt. Looking forward to more to come in the series!
Eddy is so sweet. Man she has not had the best life and yet her awkward humor, over sharing .. not a toot to give energy that just lights up the room.
Weaver understandably is a closed book and yet that was impossible around Eddy. He's attentive, protective and an all round hunk of man in all the best ways.
These two had my heart singing. Sweet connection. Spicy chemistry and so much tension. They laughed in the best ways together and just had that ability to be 100% authentically them around eachother and I felt it.
Their story at times is real tough but through it all they persevered and not only that but built a solid foundation. One that had me swooning, laughing, gasping and wanting to throw my kindle. It was a rollercoaster. But I devoured it. Man.. this may just be my favourite. Big words for a series that's not yet complete but I loved Eddy and Weaver.
Not A Side Chick was packed full of entertainment, drama, suspense and secrets. Weaver and Eddy had a chemistry that lit up every page and the connection to these characters grabs hold of you tight. Their story keeps you on the edge of your seat and takes you on such a ride that you just can't put this book down. The storyline is unique and one that at times has you holding your breath. I loved the banter between Weaver and Eddy and that these two would stand beside the other in support no matter what. The heat between them was electric and I loved that Weaver reassured her of her beauty. Eddy was a strong character, one that had been through so much and I loved that she stood behind her morals no matter the outcome for her own safety. If you are looking for a book that has a little bit of everything, then look no further because their story has it all and then some.
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Weaver & Eddy: triggers- child pornography, church, sexual assault, gun violence, wild animal violence. Wow.. this book starts off extremely mysterious as we learn that Eddy’s parents are the pastor and first Lady of the church and they are up to no good. Weaver is asked by Black to help get the evidence they need. But that's not the only thing bringing these two together because they both have interest in the other. Their connection is short but very spicy and after that is a bit of a slow afterburn but there's a lot of action to fill the gaps. Weaver’s backstory is just as shocking as Eddy’s current story so it makes the book a definite page turner. So far, I really like this series. Can't wait to see who's book is next. I think it'll be someone's sister. 🤔
I love reading a LLV book!! I swear you just never know what you are going to read when you open one of her books and I love it!!! Her books make you laugh, make you swoon, make you want to smack some of the characters so hard you can’t see straight but overall her books keep you so engrossed that you forget all about your world and are completely in her world!! Eddy and Weaver are absolutely perfect for each other and I love how they just come together so fluidly it’s like it’s always been them together. Add in Eddy’s sister and all the other secondary characters and I want everyone’s story. It’s like I know these people and live right next door to them. Now I do have to go back and read the first two books in this series but I didn’t feel as I missed anything, these are completely stand alones. But I can’t wait on the next book!!! I can’t recommend this book enough!!
I am so in love with these characters. This series is so good. The books are all better than the last. Weaver and Eddy definitely didn't disappoint. I hate reviews that ruin the book for me so I try to be very vague in my reviews but for this particular book it is so hard not to put some spoilers out there. Weaver 's history is a little more emotional than the other ex-cons in this series. Weaver left a lot behnd when he went to prison and even more was left behind or maybe the same things were left farther behind and out of reach when he became an ex-con in the not so legal way. I love Eddy for him. They are just so good together. Eddy has not had the life one would say "hey I wish I were you" to. I love the bond with her and her sister. Lani gave us another 5 star must read. The banter, the drama and the emotion. 10/10 highly recommend!
I never tire of a Lani Lynn Vale book! Not A Side Chick is the third installment in the Don't Date Him series, and I am absolutely loving this world. Lani is doing a fantastic job building the Dixie Wardens community in remote Montana, and I am here for every bit of it.
This story introduces us to Weaver—a handsome electrician and lineman—and Eddy, a high school history teacher and soccer coach (who also happens to be the twin of pro-player Nettie). After Eddy uncovers a shocking secret about her parents, she crosses paths with Weaver, and the sparks fly instantly. It’s a fun, fast-paced ride as we meet more of the Sawtooth locals and watch them find their HEAs. I’m thrilled this is turning into a longer series because these books are pure enjoyment. Come join us in Sawtooth and meet these amazing folks!

I was pulled right into this story. The story has pain, abuse, twists & turns, secrets, and heartbreak.
If you have not read the below I would recommend reading those books(s) first House of BS & Lies (Don't Date Him #1) People We Avoid (Don't Date Him #2)
This is Eddy and Weaver’s story. Eddy and Weaver meet when she uncovers secrets her parents are keeping and goes to the police. They pull in Weaver in order to try and get answers, but even more secrets are revealed. Can they figure it out? In the middle of all of this she gets attacked by a bear and it causes a ton of injuries. Now she needs help and with danger lurking can they get her better and keep her safe? His past comes for him in the middle of all of this, so they have to deal with that also. It’s one thing after another but can they fight the pull that is bring them together?
Eddy’s parents may be pillars of the town and the church they lead but her relationship with them is strained and includes one mandated visit a week. When she arrives early she sees a side of her parents that she can’t ignore however to bring them to justice more evidence is required which is what brings Weaver into his life.
Weaver was faced with an impossible choice and that decision left him estranged from his family when he was incarcerated. With the help of Apollo, he has created a new life for himself even if he can’t be with them. Working together to bring Eddy’s parents to justice brings them closer especially when it comes to their pasts.
Weaver and Eddy have a lot to overcome both when it comes to their pasts and the present as they take us on quite the ride that includes some family drama, a little suspense and a love that will change both their lives.
