The Wolf and The Flame.
I enjoyed this beautiful story of the wolf and the flame. I was searching for new upcoming books from Ms Short like I always do and was pleasantly surprised by this instant drop.
If you’ve read Roommate Wanted, then this book is the next step in the series. Ms Short goes back in time using Wulver folklore to create this cute story. We meet Liusaidh whose father is giving her hand in marriage in exchange for a treaty. We are introduced to Vargr who’s travelled far and wide to create his own pack. One day while he was out running in the wild, he smells his mate and the story takes off from there. Please check TWs before reading.
Even though I will always be a fan of Ms Shorts’ darker theme books ( e.g. The Caged Heart Pet Play Series. *P.S. can’t wait for Vadik’s book in August* and Filthy Messages), I’m truly liking this omegaverse series. The chemistry between the characters were cute and it provided depth to the story Lyall’s parents explained in the Roommate Wanted. Can’t wait for the next one in the series which looks like Christmas. While I wait for the next book to drop, I’ll just go back and reread the ones that still live rent free in my mind.

I'm going to give you 4 stars because it's in the series, BUT IF YOU EVER WRITE "GAPING" IN REFERENCE TO A PUSSY EVER AGAIN I'LL DNF. 17 times "gaping bloom" is written, we outlawed the word gaping decades ago, it is a cardinal sin. All I can think is "G-G-GAPING ASSHOLE" LMAO
