The bestselling Stone Brothers series is back with a brand new generation!
I thought I knew what I wanted.
But lately, I can’t stop thinking about the boy I left behind.
Theo Stone was my first love. The town bad boy who broke my heart. After high school, my friend said he made a move on her, so I left town and never spoke to him again.
I told myself it was for the best. I wanted success, a career, a life that would make everyone proud.
Now I’m seven years older and minutes away from marrying a man who looks perfect on paper.
But he’s never looked at me the way Theo did.
A few days before the wedding, I made a mistake. I texted Theo and asked him why he broke my heart.
I never expected him to respond. And I never expected him to crash my wedding.
Theo Stone is Slade & Britton’s son, and he carries with him the fiercely protective, deeply loving traits that you loved in Stone Deep.

Wow, just wow! I have fallen head over heels in love with Theo. Lacey did that when they were kids. She convinces herself that she loves The wealthy Dr., but it turns out that Theo never left her heart. Their ride is like a roller coaster with a crash at the end. Twists and turns I just didn’t see coming. Someone needs to stuff a sock in the mother-in-law‘s mouth. And George oh my! Can’t wait to see what happens next with the Stone brothers. Love all of them.
I don't think I could ever grown tired of the Stone Family!!! The story is so good! I love the interaction of the families and the family dynamics. So supportive of each other. Everyone notices when Stone Brother walks in the room! This novel did not disappoint! I loved how Theo held his heart for his true love!!!!
Please note that the book ends at 79% on the Kindle.
I didn't feel any of the emotions of the people in the story. I didnt sense love, attraction or even anger. The story and writing were very surface level.
The book was really good. What I was really disappointed about was the end, my kindle said I was on 80% and then it ended which meant the other 20% was the preview for the other book. So for me the ending came quite abruptly.
This is a quick average read. The storyline started really well with tension and some conflict, however it eventually became dull and just pretty predictable. I liked the characters and the town's ethos, but it just lacked development.
High school sweethearts turn into breakup. On her wedding week trying to rationalize why she was marrying him, she called Theo up! Only what he did next she wasn’t expecting. My goodness this man is bold, but he knew what he wanted and went after it!
Good book in the next generation of Stone men. I really enjoyed getting to know Theo and seeing how his life turned out and he ended up with the woman of his dreams.
