Stone Brother Next Generation #3

Theo: Stone Brothers Next Generation

Rate this book
The bestselling Stone Brothers series is back with a brand new generation!

I thought I knew what I wanted.

But lately, I can’t stop thinking about the boy I left behind.

Theo Stone was my first love. The town bad boy who broke my heart.
After high school, my friend said he made a move on her, so I left town and never spoke to him again.

I told myself it was for the best.
I wanted success, a career, a life that would make everyone proud.

Now I’m seven years older and minutes away from marrying a man who looks perfect on paper.

But he’s never looked at me the way Theo did.

A few days before the wedding, I made a mistake.
I texted Theo and asked him why he broke my heart.

I never expected him to respond.
And I never expected him to crash my wedding.

Theo Stone is Slade & Britton’s son, and he carries with him the fiercely protective, deeply loving traits that you loved in Stone Deep.

DNF about 30%. It was a painful read. I didn’t get any chemistry or an actual story.

Wow—Theo and Lacey did not disappoint!

Theo is the latest (and currently final) installment in the Storm Brothers series, and I can honestly say I’m hooked. I really hope Oliver isn’t done with this world yet, because I’m not ready to let it go.

This story follows Theo and Lacey, high school sweethearts whose relationship is torn apart by jealousy and deception. One of Lacey’s so-called friends interferes in the worst way, ripping Theo out of her life through lies that change everything. Heartbroken, Lacey moves away, trying to rebuild her life and convince herself she can move on. When she meets a charming, attractive doctor, it seems like she might finally have a chance at something new—but Theo is never truly out of her heart or her mind.

What really stood out to me was how emotionally charged the story felt. The tension between past and present, love and betrayal, was written in a way that kept me fully invested. The twists and turns had me genuinely on edge—I couldn’t stop turning pages because I needed to know what would happen next.

Oliver does a great job capturing that lingering “what if” feeling—the kind of love that doesn’t just fade, no matter how much time or distance gets in the way. The chemistry between Theo and Lacey is undeniable, and their journey is both frustrating and deeply compelling in the best way.

Overall, Theo is a gripping, emotional read filled with drama, romance, and plenty of surprises. If this really is the last book for now, it’s a strong one to go out on—but I’ll definitely be hoping for more from this series.

Quick-Read love Theo

This was an engaging book, and I found myself rooting for Theo from the very beginning. Everything the characters endured—both apart and together—kept the story moving and made it an easy, enjoyable read. It’s a quick book and perfect if you’re looking for a story without a huge time commitment.
I only read book 6 in the series, and while I enjoyed it overall, the ending felt a bit rushed. I would have loved to see more development at the end or an epilogue to wrap things up.

wow

Wow, just wow! I have fallen head over heels in love with Theo. Lacey did that when they were kids. She convinces herself that she loves The wealthy Dr., but it turns out that Theo never left her heart. Their ride is like a roller coaster with a crash at the end. Twists and turns I just didn’t see coming. Someone needs to stuff a sock in the mother-in-law‘s mouth. And George oh my! Can’t wait to see what happens next with the Stone brothers. Love all of them.

Second chance romance

Such a good second chance!!!! Theo and Lacey were highschool sweethearts, until Lacey left town thinking Theo cheated on her. Days before her wedding, she texts Theo to find out what happened. She didn't expect him to crash her wedding. But she was hoping he would!!!

Loved it!

Wow, can't see the sun through the storm, but it's there

The snotty wealthy woman, what a joke she is or the joke is on her. Doesn't matter how much money you have in the bank, if you're a crappy person you're a crappy person. You can't help who you love, it just is. The senior Stone brothers never had support but they know how to show it.

Please note that the book ends at 79% on the Kindle.

I didn't feel any of the emotions of the people in the story. I didnt sense love, attraction or even anger. The story and writing were very surface level.

A quick read.

Good book but a bit disappointed.

The book was really good. What I was really disappointed about was the end, my kindle said I was on 80% and then it ended which meant the other 20% was the preview for the other book. So for me the ending came quite abruptly.

Not bad.

This is a quick average read. The storyline started really well with tension and some conflict, however it eventually became dull and just pretty predictable. I liked the characters and the town's ethos, but it just lacked development.

short sweet and spicy

High school sweethearts turn into breakup. On her wedding week trying to rationalize why she was marrying him, she called Theo up! Only what he did next she wasn’t expecting. My goodness this man is bold, but he knew what he wanted and went after it!

Dnf at 42% storyline was absolutely ridiculous. The book started fine and by 40% was just absolutely absurd in every way. This girl is supposed to be a lawyer and is fooled by this ridiculous story from his parents. I don’t think so.
