FROM ONE BATTLEFIELD TO ANOTHERAfter successfully protecting the Kingdom of Merinard from the Principality of Diieharte and the Kingdom of Tigris, it's time for Kousuke to return home to the capital and enjoy a hard-earned rest. Well, that was the plan, anyway. When Serafeeta starts putting the moves on Kousuke, it sparks tension between him and Sylphy's two older sisters, Ifriita and Aqual. And while Kosuke's hands are full trying to keep all three of these beautiful women happy, another bomb drops--someone's pregnant! Can Kousuke catch a break?!
The shenanigans between the MC and the various women (adding more with each volume) around him are nothing new, nor is his behaviour where he regularly does things despite advice to the contrary and it has no consequences. In limited amounts I can enjoy it, but that is all this volume is. There is no progress in the main story, and it seems the MC's powers (let alone personality) have stopped growing as well. In other words, I found it a bit boring, but it is what was to be expected. Not sure I will keep reading the series...
With the pause in conflicts, Koisuke turns to rebuilding villages for the homeless demi-humans. He also works on getting his complete set of princesses. Although I found it entertaining, not much really happened in this volume. It should have at least gotten to one of the childbirths before ending.
