I habe to say I loved the first one more since the first one had no missunderstandings and was so freaking adorable. Don’t get me wrong this one is good but I just hate all the not talking …but damn the sex scenes were good and they both are still so freaking adorable.

Mamitas best series 100% I love them so so much. I love the green flags and I love their dynamic. I wish we got to see them hanging out with Kurumi more, but I still really enjoyed this.

pretty much delivered what i was expecting.

i'm not the biggest fan of miscommunication, but i do like that the "love triangle" was pretty much dissolved from the start, with clear indications the childhood friend is just that, and is completely straight, and just no "what if" scenarios for us to worry about. (btw i laughed at how chill his reaction was when Natsume came out to him in school, i can never imagine myself just boldly suggesting "we can do double dates" lmao)

definitely would have preferred if the miscommunication never happened, but given the questionable set-up from the previous volume... WELL i'm just glad their relationship even got further development instead of being neatly finished off with the first volume. this definitely needed the second one for the actual relationship development, because now that they've established they have more than just the chemistry and are in love with each other, they have to deal with real-world difficulties and discover how much they actually know about each other.

definitely wish there was more, because i definitely loved the mature conversations when it finally did happen, and of course the unforgettable panels of Kou's messay apartment made my day :D would have loved to see Kou getting along with Natsume's best friend too (yes, forgot his name, my bad ;-;) but yes, overall am just happy this exists.

Okay, I liked this a lot more than the first volume. It definitely needed the second one for actual relationship development; now that they've established they have good chemistry and are "in love with each other," they have to deal with real-world difficulties and discover how much they actually know about each other.

I loved that Mamita is so averse to love triangles that the childhood friend introduced for drama in this volume was exactly that: a guy Natsume has known basically his entire life, who has a polar opposite personality but a completely anchored in loyalty to and protectiveness of him. And he's straight! Completely and utterly straight, with no "what if" scenarios or any hint of an old crush from either side.

He's just a guy who has Natsume's back, will listen to his honest rambling about anything, and will absolutely fight any guy who breaks Natsume's heart. Loved the flashbacks with them getting to know each other and Kurumi being completely chill when Natsume anxiously came out to him in high school. Cool, he says. Let's go on a double date when we both have partners then!

It's a promise they haven't fulfilled yet, mostly because they don't seem to be able to keep stable enough relationships at the same time. But Natsume finally has a boyfriend he really wants to introduce to Kurumi and go on that double date with, and it's just a matter of getting past his insecurities and self-doubt to fold his lives together.

I genuinely loved Kurumi as a character and would've been happy to see a lot more of him, including the longer conversations where Natsume breaks down what Kurumi's dating issues are and why he can't hang onto a woman. It'd also be fun to see Kurumi and Kou hang out more, now that they've gotten past Kou's anxious jealousy and can become buddies on their own. But I think the series ends here.

While there was some not-talking-to-each-other miscommunication, it got handled without too much agonizing, and with some very mature conversations. Loved Kou showing Natsume his messy apartment and not-so-perfect life. Loved him asking Natsume if he felt weird about his past, and Natsume saying with no hesitation that he doesn't think about that at all - if Kou hadn't been a call boy they never would've formed this kind of relationship. And now Kou is entirely devoted to him, so what he did before they were together doesn't matter. It's very grown up and low drama and I like that.

I still think the whole business setup is really silly and would cause major issues ("we take care of both your home and your body?" uhhhh). It makes more sense that Kou's boss eventually set up a sort of exclusive host club and hired Kou as the floor manager. (Although Mamita has kind of weird ideas about how some of these places work, based on another manga.)

Mamita's stories lack a little depth sometimes, but I appreciated this deeper dive into a relationship that really was very cute and interesting.

Many a manga sequel is not needed if there is only going to be a love rival and I feared that was going to happen here. Mamita came through again with a well-done sequel and NO love rival!

Natsume & Kou are learning new skills & changing jobs planning for their future together. The problem is, they are working separately with the same goal in mind. Without a conflict there would be no sequel, so I'm glad things never got bad between them. One simple talk and they worked everything out.

I hope to see them in another story after they start living together...

Lmao these dudes are all bad at communication and really get in their heads, but I really enjoyed this volume. Loved Kurumi and I'm happy that Mamita didn't go with the typical rival trope and instead introduced a (straight) childhood friend who poses no threat to the relationship. He just cares for Natsume and wants him to be happy. I want more!! I want to see them go on their trip and I wanted at least one date! I'm praying for a volume 3.

Mamita has the hottest men in her series and I have love almost everything I have read my this author. Kou in this volume is just so sexy.

I love jealousy and a rival but not a love triangle so this one was great as the “rival” was Natsume’s straight bestie. I would love even more here cause his bestie seems like such a good friend! I also loved the part where they went to Kou’s apartment to make up. That was funny and sweet. This was a great read over breakfast.

I really appreciate when mangaka add new characters without adding a love rival for an established relationship and the lack of communication in this specific situation didn't feel contrived because of the characters' personalities already established. These two are really sweet and I love Mamita's art so much so it was a delight to get to see the progress in their relationship.

Finally read the sequel! It is again so wholesome and sweet. We have some miscommunication, which I don't mind in stories if it's done in a not dumb way lol I am hoping for a third book, but I am glad Mamita's other series is currently ongoing 🙏🙏🙏

God, Kou is such a green flag. Honestly, all of them are. Natsume and Kurumi too. Misunderstandings are always frustrating to read but the payoff was so good. Seeing them communicate about it at the end was sexy as hell. Loved it!! I only wish there was more of them to read about 😭

Loved the sequel as much as the first volume! Natsume is so adorable with his nerdy way and the miscommunication trope was done well. Bonus too for getting to see Kou constantly in a suit *swoon

1 word: Perfection (*T^T)

This whole volume was so sweet and gentle, with a mixture of insecurities from both sides. Also loved the addition of Kurumi. He's such a good character and friend!!

This came out early at my local bookstore so I snagged a copy :)! I am between giving it like a 4-4.5. It's great. The communication, the story, the relationship development and sweetness are all great. I'd probably only dock .5 or 1 star due to there not being more to the story than the relationship...which isn't bad at all. I think i just prefer plots to have a bit more going on than just the singular romance. Love the character we meet in this volume. Spicy as always, but in a sweet way.
