It was a nice lil read but nothing too out of the ordinary and didn’t exactly become my favourite. Maybe it’s your cuppa. Who knows?

This is a paranormal romance novella, featuring Trick and Jayden, and is book five in the At First series.
Trick takes a job to hex an actor, but meeting Jayden turns everything upside down. What starts as easy work quickly becomes all kinds of personal.
This was such a fun mix of magic and theatre drama! I loved the grumpy-hexer-falls-for-the-sweet-actor vibe, and the romance added the perfect touch to all the chaos backstage.

This was a crazy fun story set in the At First universe. MNSTR was used to hire Trick. Loved this book! Highly Recommended

Love a good comeuppance
I love the entire MNSTR series and this newest addition is a perfect fit. Trick is fiery and strong, playing perfectly off of Jayden's sweetness. Definitely recommend!

I've really enjoyed this novella series. They have made perfect, if ridiculous, palette cleansers between heavier books. Sadly, this one didn't work for me quite so well. There didn't really feel like there was any character development at all and the romance just felt off to me. 3.5*
