Dark, gripping, and dangerously smooth—Viktor pulls you in and dares you to look away. A twisted story of power, control, and obsession. It’s not just a read—it’s a reckoning.

When this series began, I was not sure how these different characters were involved in the timeline. I found myself wondering if these ‘people’ were Jake’s alter egos or if they were people from his past that he was punishing for misdeeds. Four books later and I am still unsure but am so drawn into these stories that I have to keep reading. When I read Jake’s journal entries I am given the impression that Jake is in control of the whole way the story goes and then Viktor throws a wrench in the gears. Reading about Viktor is so intense. He is a spring ready to bounce on others who he deems disposable. I like the cat. I think his job is to make each character wonder if they are dealing with a human or something else. The cat did not audibly talk but he seemed to carry on a non verbal conversation with Viktor. I now know this book is leading to the next; Butch and it will be very interesting to see where the reader is led.

For those unaware, that artistic expression involves murder. I was lucky enough to get an early glimpse of this narrative, and believe me, the wait for release will be well worth it. Buckle up, readers - Viktor is on his way!

Victor has done it again. He likes to deep dive into psychological thrillers for his books. One of my favorite aspects of these books is the journal pages within the book. As you read, you are taunted into wanting to know more and read more. Victor has mastered how to keep me up reading later than I plan to. 😆
Viktor is one hello of a ride. This book makes you wonder if Jake and these other people are all a part of Jake or if they are people that he knows. Going off of book one, I think they are all people within Jake, but based on people he knows or came into contact with. I can't wait to read more!

Do you like a mind tease? Then this book – well, this entire series is for you! As I turned the pages, I kept asking myself what is actually going on here? Am I the one going insane?!! I reread sentences, paragraphs, sometimes even chapters, looking for clues that I may have missed trying to figure out who was playing who- Viktor or Jake. What a delicious mind-unraveling adventure this book was! The writing drew me in and the plot kept me tethered but the characters were what I loved most about the book! With reappearances from Margot, Mr. Snuggles and even the Twins, this phenomenal book kept me on the edge of my seat until the final page when I learned that there is indeed going to be a Book 5!! And I can’t wait for it! Another masterful book by Victor Peter…5 stars! I received an advanced reader copy in exchange for my honest review.

Murder...not mayhem. Smooth like silk across a sharp knife. Sensual. Hooks you in and you can't stop watching. Viktor...cold, calculating, charming. Death is his playground, and you want to play too. Jake...the author always watching and always one step ahead. He sees you. Absolutely mesmerizing and brilliant. Worth every star.

Each new book in this series becomes my favorite. Author is amazing with making your mind think and then twists it. I love Viktor and how he thinks of his Murders as art. I also love the Jake journal pages. I can’t wait for more, I also love Mr snuggles. It’s a great thriller mystery

The madness continues in the fourth book of the Jake series, “Viktor” by Victor Peter. This time, the focus shifts to Viktor—the artist and killer—who’s desperately trying to hold on to control as Jake’s chaotic influence closes in. It’s a tense, mind-bending descent into obsession, identity, and unraveling sanity.
I honestly don’t know who or what is real anymore. Jake completely sucked me into his madness, and I loved every twisted second of it. If you’ve followed the series, this one is a must-read. Terrifying, psychological, and impossible to put down.
