This was an engaging and emotionally charged story that drew me in right from the start. Tension and emotion simmered between the two main characters especially in a way that felt both authentic and gripping. The plot moved along with purpose and held my interest for the most part throughout, and I especially appreciated the author's flair for vivid descriptions that brought scenes and emotions to life.
At times, the descriptive style did tip into excess, pulling my attention away from the core storyline. The writing also leaned heavily on short, clipped sentences, which occasionally disrupted the flow and made it harder to stay immersed. That said, these were minor bumps in an otherwise strong and enjoyable narrative.
Overall, this is a promising read with strong storytelling and emotional depth. I look forward to seeing more from this author in the future!.

3.5 ⭐️ This was my first book by Amelia Perry. I found the writing style a bit hard to get into at first, and the main characters, Siena and Cassian, felt cold and stiff in the beginning. But as they opened up, their chemistry improved and they became more likeable.
The plot was a bit weak, and I missed having any side characters to add depth.
Overall, an okay read with a stronger second half.

His Forbidden Bride is a suspenseful and page turning mafia romance. The story is captivating from beginning to end, entertaining and an enjoyable read. This novel follows the journey of Cassian and Siena. The characters are well developed and beautifully executed throughout the story. The chemistry between the main characters is absolutely incredible and off the charts hot. I absolutely loved getting to know both Cassian and Siena as well as seeing their feelings for one another grow stronger as their story progresses forward through the pages of this incredible mafia romance novel. I love that they have a happy ending to their story with them being happy together as a true couple. His Forbidden Bride is absolutely a mafia romance novel that would be given as a recommendation for anyone who enjoys reading mafia romances. This novel contains a marvelous plot, wonderful characters and a breathtaking ending for the main characters. A Phenomenal Mafia Romance Story!!!!! His Forbidden Bride is amazingly written, exceptionally balanced with action/romance and beautifully executed by Amelia Perry. She continues to showcase what an incredible author she is with each book I’ve read by her. I can’t wait to see what her next book will be about.

Powerful, controlling, and formidable, Mafia Don Cassian Renzetti was a force to be reckoned with. Mafia princess Siena Romano dreamed of marrying for love someday, not being forced into marriage as part of a business deal. “And it feels less like a wedding…than a quiet burial.” Siena and Cassian do not have an idyllic start to their relationship. I liked that even though Siena was marrying a cold, stern mafia Don, she was written as a strong female that knew her mind and her worth. She started off as a pawn but became a beloved wife and powerful force of her own.
I was impressed with the writing style of the author. The story started off slow, the author slowly laying the foundation before ramping up and building the different parts, until it culminates in a spectacular ending. The writing was prolific and detailed, making you feel like you are in the scenes with the characters. The characters were complex and multi-layered; all loaded with emotional baggage that they need to sort through. Overall, it was an enjoyable book, and I recommend it.

HIS FORBIDDEN BRIDE by Amelia Perry is a story that has a lot of depth and characters that have strength and engage well with each other. It’s a mafia romance that had me involved in the storyline from the first page to the last.
Siena and Cassian’s marriage of convenience becomes a true love story. Coming from rival families, what should have been only a business decision and transaction turns into so much more. They tell their story in alternating chapters and I thought the chapter titles were a nice touch. The two of them, along with her mother and his sister Gianna, become humanized during the telling of the story. There are vivid descriptions that made me feel like I was there and a happily ever after on several fronts. I loved the use of Italian words and phrases along with the translation which flowed naturally. There is closure with the epilogue but I would have liked the story to go on a little longer.

This is my first book from Amelia Perry. I love Mafia romance. This book has a strong FMC and a cold hearted MMC. Cassian is a Don of a very large Italian family marrying into another family for a “Peace Treaty” between families. What he doesn’t realize is how much a firecracker she is, behind all of this all the secrets and lies. Sienna is a strong independent women. She is a force to be reckon with. She is a natural born leader being tossed to the wolves. She is used as a pawn for a peace treaty, not expecting to unthaw the heart of the Notorious Mafia Don. Behind all of this they both lead. There were secrets and lies. Great read. It is definitely a slow burn romance.

I have read books by Amelia before so I knew i was about to have a really good read, so settle down and enjoy.
Arranged marriages are for many thinks but hardly ever for love and not in this instance either, traded by her brother.
Expecting a docile bride Cassian got Siena a mind of her own and ready to put him in his place from the start.
Put them together in bed they come alive in each others arms.
When troubles begin and danger is close they must work together as a team, uncovering lies and finding secrets, or they may not survive.
A story that i would Highley recommend you read, i truly loved it.

Cassian and Siena had me glued to the pages of this amazing book. Theirs was an arranged marriage designed to end a family feud, but it turns into so much more. Siena is a great lady who is fierce and doesn't back down and as a result has feelings growing between her and Cassian. Will their marriage lead them to happiness and end the family feud.

I found this isn’t your typical very dark
mafia romance I found the balance between everything was spot on.
It’s more of two people coming together who both have
had a lot of heart ache and how there learn to trust each other and build a life together.

This book had me turning the page. I love a good strong female and Siena is definitely one of them and the way she holds her own against Cassian and his sister Gianna is awesome. If you like Mafia romance I highly recommend this book to you.

Siena was promised in marriage by her brother to Cassian Renzetti (love the name Cassian) not for love but to bring peace between the two families. Definitely a marriage of convenience with no real feelings involved. Definitely recommend this mafia romance page turner..

This captivating page turner is gripping and entertaining. It had me absolutely riveted from the very first page until the last. Loved the epilogue. Highly recommend. Look forward to reading the next book from Amelia Perry.

Nice Read!
His Forbidden Bride by Amelia Perry kept me reading till late at night. The arranged marriage trope is something that I always enjoyed the aspect of hate to love because of the constant back and forth and the banter between the main characters. Both Sienna ans Cassian have this in spades which made their love story that much better!

Loved reading the amazing and awesome romance story. When Sienna has to marry Cassian, she never imagined the secrets the two would unravel and feelings for each other. Read the highly recommended, wonderfully written, and another riveting love story by the phenomenal author, Amelia Perry.

If you enjoy mafia tropes then give this book a try. It has a strong FMC who can hold her own when needed. No triggers.

Pretty words, no substance
This was a book of moments, not plot. Lack of timelines and explanations for actions made this awkward to read. Very little depth to the characters. Needs more than editing....
