this is a dark romance, rom com, taboo / forbidden, boyfriend’s dad, stalker vibes, age gap, one night stand goes wrong … or very right, daddy kink, violence, duo pov, standalone 🖤

falling for her boyfriend’s father was something tilly never thought would ever happen to her. but after a one night stand that completely change her life, she indeed gets proven that daddy always does it better 🥰

this is also set in the same world as “haunted love” and that just made it even more enjoyable 🤩

THE SPICE ?!!? good god i think my brain is mush and my legs have turned into jelly 😭 got me walking like bambi after reading this book omg !!

i love a good fmc who is confident in her sexuality, demanding, knows her worth, yet can also be submissive 😍 tilly is just THAT BITCH !! she can make men weak in their knees yet also play the role of a perfect submissive for her daddy dom 🤭 she didn’t lose her spark either !! miss girl’s personality grew twice as much and she bit back harder. i absolutely love her 🫶🏼

I can't put myself through any more of this.

Her vagina lips are called Monica and Rachel while her clit is called Phoebe (assuming the author has seen Friends).

She refers to her vagina as her "sweet little kitty" - word for word btw.

I don't think I've ever cringed so much in all my life.

Also the fmc is acting like she thinks she's a total bad ass when realistically I think she's addicted to sex?

I would try to read more but this over 400 pages and my review won't be very nice.

This book is yummy 🥵. Tilly knows who is she, what she wants and isn’t afraid to get it. She meets Zeph and it leads to going to his father’s house. While there Caesar shows up and Tilly realizes this is the silver fox she seen at Vixen. And proves that daddy does it better.

Sacred Vow

Tilly meets Zeph and what starts as a one-night stand quickly spirals into something much more when he takes her to his father’s house. That’s where she meets Caesar - Zeph’s father - and realizes he’s the same man she saw at Vixen. One forbidden touch later, they make a vow to never tell anyone. The only rule? She can’t fall for him…until she does.

This is my second book by this author, and wow - she jumped straight into the story and never slowed down. It held my attention from the very first page to the last. The writing is sharp, the pacing is perfect, and the character development is so well done. This was an easy 5-star read, and I highly recommend it if you enjoy the tropes listed below!

This wasn’t a personal favorite.

I love other books but this author and I love their writing style but this one felt off. The banter felt almost juvenile in certain spots. The story was there but it just fell short for me. I felt as though the build up to the moment Z finds out about Tilly and his dad was anticlimactic. I enjoyed the dad in the spicy moments but everywhere else it sort of fell short for me.

I love age gap but this just didn’t hit for me.

That was incredible. Honestly, the witty banter between all the characters hit so well. The spice was phenomenal. I swear I am in heat. I am obsessed.

Am i obsessed with age gap dark romance now? Um, yes!

I’ve never been hugely attracted to the age gap trope but this book had me in a chokehold! This was hilariously funny and damn hot with a 6’3 silver fox.

FMC Tilly is in college studying but also has a super high sex drive, she goes to a sex club that her friends own and notices a guy that takes her breath away, they don’t talk or connect and go home with the expectation of never seeing each other again.

MMC Caesar is a wealthy man with a son who also attends the same college as Tilly. He has a dark past that we slowly uncover throughout the book, one he likes to be kept a secret.

I had no expectations going into this audio, I was worried that the spice would overtake the plot but it didn’t whatsoever. I was dying with laughter between Tilly and her best friend Chloe, it’s a friendship that can be so relatable. The audio itself is actually one of my favourites, the narrators brought the story to life and felt so immersive.

Highly recommend listening to this!

Sacred Vow is such an entertaining and easy read. Kept me engaged and laughing throughout. It's well written, the characters are believable, with Tilly (fmc) and her bff relatable. Ok maybe not totally!!!!

Not only is Sacred Vow a dark romance, it's also a rom com, with a stalker element that is not at all a hot one, an age gap with the most delicious daddy, a couple of entitled delulus who cause some real damage, a bff everyone should have in the form of Chloe who just about rivals Tilly, our main girl, on hilarity. They both come across as sarcastic with a sense of humour that is highly amusing and a habit of getting themselves into highly embarrassing but funny situations. And then there is Zeph.... sigh..... swoon. All round great guy, bit of a puppy dog, great sense of humour, adonis like his daddy. mmmm dreamy.

Tilly's love for ironic slogan shirts is down right hilarious. She is a force that knows what she wants, what she likes, she is unpredictable and a little chaotic. Trouble seems to find her, no matter where she is. Caeser is just delicious, dark, intense, emotionally stunted for good reason, but of course our Tilly totally demolishes his carefully structured walls. Even with their age gap and life experiences being drastically different, Tilly and Caeser still got each other. They were on the same page the whole way through, they just didn't realise it. Their chemistry was off the charts and absolute fire.

It was so good coming back to Vixen, from Haunted Love, and seeing Aspen and Izaac again. Would have loved to see Austin and Becs but I'm still holding out for a book of their own one day. Maybe even just a little novella????

Chef’s kiss. If you love daddy kink (and daddy really does it better 😉), age gap, touch-her-and-die, and stalker vibes with comedic relief—this one’s a 5-star ride.

Enter Caesar Di Rozé the ultimate silver fox daddy— commanding, sinful, & oh-so-dangerous. Then comes Tilly— smart, confident and everything Caesar didn’t know he needed. In his eyes, she’s not just captivating—she is a sex goddess. The chemistry between them is electric & will make you want to fan yourself between chapters.

But beyond the steam, what lingers is the story of a man who thinks he’s too ruined to deserve happiness. And a woman who proves she’s not afraid of his shadows & is his match in every way. If you love your romances dark, funny, and scorching hot. This is the book is most definitely for you.

When I say you need to read this book, I mean you need to drop whatever you're doing and read it NOW!

It was hilarious. Tilly's banter had me howling! Her T-shirts? Oh, and her grandma? Absolutely iconic 😂

And the spice? Phew. This is the first book I’ve given a full 5🌶 this year — and when I say steamy, I mean “call the fire brigade” levels of hot. Did someone say masked men? As in 3 of them? 👀🔥

I genuinely kicked, squealed, and cackled my way through this story. Not quote as unhinged as some of the things Caeser and Tilly did though 🫣 iykyk.

There's definitely dark elements to this story so make sure you check your triggers.

Tilly is a 22YO college student who just wants a good "lay". She is sick of "college boys" & when her cousin gets her an in with the local Vixon s*x club - She jumps right on in with her best friend & room mate in toe! This is where she meets single dad in his 40s; Caesar.

Caesar Di Roze has had a, life. A single dad to a 21YO son & a successful business owner, he is lucky to now have the opportunity to live in the wealth he has worked hard for. But, something / someone is missing. And when he sees Tilly across the room at Club Vixon, he is memorised. But when he walks through the front door and sees her flirting with his son the next night, he is left feeling confused. Until Tilly shows the same interest back. They then enter a sacred vow - s*x with no emotion. A forbidden lustful affair not just behind Caesar's sons back, but Caesar also is hiding it from his work colleague & friends.

But as their lustful affair continues, they find the sacred vow may be harder to keep than they both once thought. Especially when they both give each other, the something they are missing.
And with a 20+ year age gap & Caesar trying to move on from his dark past - Can they truly be each others person?

There is also a “thriller” sort of sub plot in this book, which honestly - made no sense to me. I won’t go into it but know it’s just not a simple age gap spicy romance, but full of unnecessary drama that made me nearly not finish the book.

There should be no surprise that this book was unhinged and spicy in the best way!! Sheridan Anne never disappoints when it comes to taboo romances!! So going into this one had me so dang excited!!

The amount of spice, plot twists, and banter in this book had me enjoying every second of this book!! Tillie was a total bad@ss. She was unapologetically herself and she had me cracking up so much! Especially her relationship with Zeph!! Let me tell you, this book starts off with a bang!! It’ll hook you from the very beginning!

I was so in love with Daddy Ceasar. That man was perfection! Even though he carried is own demons, he took care of those he loves, even if it’s in a possessive and slightly unhinged way 🤭 I just loved the many layers we got of this man!!

I was gifted the audio version of this book and the narrators did such an amazing job!! I love that the phone call portions of the book was narrated in a way that sounded like they were on the phone. It gave an authentic feel to the book!! This audio was such a fun find and I highly recommend reading it in this format!

If you love a good taboo romance where you get the father and the son, a crazy amount of spice and a book that’ll make you laugh and get emotional? This might be just the right book for you!!

Took me a while to finish this one, as I read ARCs in between which kind of gives you the knowledge that this one didn’t hold my attention as all the other Sheridan Anne books I’ve read.

Our FMC Tilly, goes to Vixen a s3x club regularly, I suppose it doesn’t hurt that it’s her cousins boyfriend who owns it. Whilst in the VIP section she is watching a couple, but the man keeps his eyes on her all the time. She can’t get him out of her mind but ends up with a guy from her class, who takes her home. His Dad walks in and Tilly realises it’s the same man from the club. Let’s just say there’s a lot of spice, her comical banter and feistiness comes through. It’s not all spice though as someone lurks behind the scenes.

I just didn’t enjoy this one, like others have said it’s hard to explain why but it was very predictable, which is not something I usually associate with Sheridan’s books. It’s an age gap, obsessive romance with spice and a little bit of jealous mayhem thrown in.

Run don’t walk but read trigger warnings if you have triggers. Seriously, 54 highlights and I only highlighted about half what I wanted to! Don’t let this sweet cover fool you, this was smut at its finest! Started in chapter two and was so steamy. Some of the twists I was able to predict but still so worth it. All five stars were earned and this is my favorite Sheridan Anne book so far!

Was this book more spice than plot 100% - was it still a good read? Yes.
The banter and the laugh out loud moments saved this book for me. I was cackling through out and I’m sure my husband thought I grew 3 heads… and there were times when I read to him parts of the book that I was reading and laughing at and even he grinned so that says a lot.
But if you love a spicy book where you hang both son and dad then this one’s for you lol

I consumed this book like air to breathe, I knew being a stand alone Sheridan Anne it would be fantastic but I really loved that it was set in the same world as haunted love as I LOVED that stand alone also. I wasn’t sure how I would go with this a trope but I 100% loved it and will read again. The Vixen club is where dreams come true.

51%: Really lucky I already know and like Sheridan's writing because I fear this would have been a DNF after the first chapter and her referring to her left lip as Monica whilst the right one was Rachel with Phoebe in the middle. Not just once either, repeatedly, over and over as she bravely waxed herself.

Finished: probably my least favourite of 18 Sheridan books I've read, but not terrible. Probably should have done a DNF when she used names of Friends characters for her flaps and saved my time though 💀

Wow! Amazing read! Like... off the charts! Phenomenal! Tilly is hilarious. I love her attitude, her take no crap personality, knowing what she wants and going after it! Zeph may be my most favoritist character ever. And don't forget Daddy Caesar! The book is hot, spicy, had me ROTFL. It's a dark romance with so much comedy that it could be a rom-com, if not for the darkness. It's connected to Haunted Love but you won't be confused without reading first. Highly recommend (both books really)!

I had the absolute best time reading this! I loved the characters. Loved being back at Vixen, too.
