So this is book 1 in the series and it is the story of the character journey to get into magic school. This is a great paranormal story. lots of detail. Quick, fast paced read. Easy flows well. There are stirrings of romance and I'm dying to see how it turns out.

When I started reading this book, I wasn't sure I will read it to the end, because the beginning was kinda weird. But it is well written, so I continued reading and got hooked. Firia is an unusual and interesting MC and I can't say if I like her, but I want to know how her story continues.
