This book is well positioned to resonate with readers seeking clarity, structure, and long-term transformation across multiple areas of life, rather than one-dimensional advice.
I was intrigued by this book. I wanted desperately to connect and to receive the guidance it had to offer. My reading became tainted early on in Chapter 2 when talking about worry and how it is most often made in our minds and how we just need to manifest and be mindful to not let this worry basically rule our lives. Makes sense, but then he uses Howard Hughes as an example. Not only is this inflammatory but irresponsible. This man was diagnosed with a mental illness. It wasn't something he could fix with a checklist at the end of this book. It wasn't something that could be decided one day to reverse his thinking. After that example, I couldn't trust or put merit in this author's 111 Rules. Every example thereafter was suspect.
I found it to be very affirming and I plan on using some of the methods mentioned in my life. Its a really good book to help improve yourself, highly recommend it.
This book is very useful, affirming, and laid out in a very easy to read way! I especially liked how it cited real world examples to help drive across each rule. However, I did find that the layout was very formulaic and each chapter bullet points follow the same structure. Therefore, I found that I enjoyed reading this book as a reference guide rather than digesting it all at once to avoid being easily bored and better absorb the topics.
