This short story follows Raj and Meera, a married couple whose relationship has been crumbling for the past six months. They’ve grown distant—no intimacy, no real communication—and while Meera keeps trying to reach out, Raj remains cold and dismissive.

From Raj’s point of view, we see the stress he’s under: bills, work, and pressure weighing him down. But instead of addressing it with Meera, he makes the terrible choice to hook up with a woman at a work party. Not only does he sleep with her once, but he goes back and meets her again the next day. To make matters worse, when Meera asks him directly if he’s been with someone else, he lies.

Meanwhile, Meera—lonely and desperate—reaches out to an ex. She kisses him, but guilt overwhelms her and she stops things before they go too far. Even when she tries a second time, she ends it before anything happens. Unlike Raj, she’s honest about her actions and tries to fix their marriage through counselling.

Eventually, Raj admits the truth and Meera decides to work through it with him. A year later, they’re shown as happy again.

The writing itself wasn’t the issue—the story flows well, and the emotions come through. My problem was Raj. He was completely unlikeable and, frankly, trash. If the story was meant to convince me that their marriage was stronger after all this, it didn’t. If it had been one mistake and genuine remorse, maybe I could have believed it. But cheating twice, lying to Meera’s face, and making her feel like she was the only one trying? Unforgivable.

Well-written but ultimately disappointing because I couldn’t root for the “happy ending.” Raj was irredeemable for me, and the ending felt unearned.

Meera and Raj are married, but their marriage has suffered the last 6 months. It's like living with a ghost. You know he's there, but he says nothing.Meera wondered what was going through Rajs mind. Did he still love her? Was he stressed, or was he cheating? "Love is not a reason to suffer."

Raj felt like he was failing Meera, himself, and his marriage. Raj wasn't making enough money to keep up with expenses. He needs to sit down with Meera and explain to her. If she isn't working, she needs to get a job. (Just my opinion.) Raj being stressed was no excuse to cheat. (I have no respect for cheaters.)

I get it, Love takes work. But if you're going to cheat, leave. The story was good, but Im afraid the author gives the wrong idea that cheating is ok and you should be forgiven.

Can't Get Hard For Her But Can get Hard For A Stranger, And Passionately Orgasm For Her, What a Fucking Social Abuser And Fucking Misogynist

Fuck I hate women who let men use excuses for betrayal.

Especially excuses that pretend he has blood pressure issues with his cock for her but not the rich bitch he passionately, read it, PASSIONATELY fucks while supposedly impotent.

Wow, Meera is pathetic taking that Social Abuser, and thats what Adultery is, Social Abuse, and lets him dip dick and lie real slick.

Misogyny.

Meera deserved so much better, honestly what Raj did was absolutely irredeemable.
