A very informative book for new parents. I kinda wish I'd known about some of this stuff when my child was young. One of the things I like about this book is the fact that it give you a few ideas on how to slowly train your child on how to sleep through the night.
I liked the way the plan was presented, the seven steps are simple, easy to follow and remember. This is something that every parent struggles and hard, however, with this plan everything is simple. The impact is good, sleep deprivation can create big health problems. Something I learnt is the right sleep temperature for the baby.
I thought this book was very easy to read and had a lot of good concepts with several options for sleep training. As an expecting mother who just found out it was an insightful read and I will definitely need to revisit this book once our little one is here.
It gives you a lot of information about sleep. The need for it, the training for it, the benefits of it, etc but the actual way to sleep train in 7 nights is only a few pages long and hidden in the middle of the book.
