My freshman year of high school my long-time bully went missing.

My life quickly changed showing me happiness is fleeting when she was found dead.

Two years after that I'm preparing to start college.
Moving from my parents to my own apartment with my boyfriend.
When the third girl to go missing is found dead.

These unsolved cases are what encourage me to be a journalist,
but going digging can be a dangerous thing.
As my mind becomes a scrambled mess full of nightmares and memories,
I soon start to rethink everything I know about myself, the people around me, and the man I love.

I'm so close to the truth when I find myself as one of the taken. . .
Truths are revealed, family secrets come out,
and we all know the girls to go missing in this town end up dead. . .

Destiny D. Scriver is your average small-town Washington woman. She enjoys the small towns, dirt roads, and quiet. She is married with four children. Two boys and two girls. She survives on coffee and chaos. Writing has always been her outlet in life, along with curling up with a good book and escaping life for a while. She works as a CNA or enjoys family time when she is not writing. Horror movies and ice cream are her guilty pleasure. Destiny's main writing focus has been dark psychological thrillers/mysteries, but she is venturing into bully romance and horror romance. She took all the extra writing courses in school to show off her creative short stories, hoping to one day be an Author.
