The author sent me a free copy and asked me to write a review.

The book starts very confusing, but once you get into the concept of angels which is different from the biblical - angels have human mortal forms, human parents... - the story is really interesting and has great potential for suspense. Unfortunately the suspense is always interrupted by descriptions of Simras feelings and fears. The reader knows very well, what she is feeling and what she is afraid of, we don't need this explanations slowing down the otherwise gripping action. The reader wants to feel the fear not to have it analyzed.

As for the writing style, it is quite simple: Short sentences that sometimes seem to be disconnected. I'm no native speaker but I noticed too many grammar faults indicating there hasn't been anyone proofreading or editing. That's a pity because as I said the story has great potential.

Now I'll start book two to learn how the whole story began.

In this book you meet Simra Reece, owner of Reece Alzheimer's Care Facility and she has some demon and angel trouble. Her grandma has Alzheimer’s and the disease is rapidly getting worse. Simra meet Zach which happens to be ex-fiancé’s brother. For me, I story is a bit slow. I think the idea is good behind the story but in the first part of the book I was not as caught up in the story as I wanted to be. I think the first part of the book needs to be a little more engaging. Once the story line gets going the book takes us on a journey with angels and demons. It is a faith based trip. *I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review*

Immortal Memory starts off fast-paced and full of action and suspense. Chapter 1 begins with Simra Reece facing many suspenseful and supernatural issues. Her grandmother is cursed with Alzheimer's, and it is getting worse fast. Somehow, her grandmother's past is linked to her ex-fiance' who comes back into the picture and tries forcing Simra to marry him. He stalks her like prey as his mysterious, handsome brother, arrives with a mission. As everything gets worse, Simra realizes she must trust the handsome, mysterious angel God sent to her and regain a relationship with God that she lost long ago.

The book started out with much supernatural suspense that leaves the reader on edge throughout the story. There were no grammar or proofreading errors that I saw. Immortal Memory has an amazing twist of fiction and inspiration woven together which makes it an incredible, gripping story.
