This was another well written and intriguing Justice and Mercy mystery. Father Tom tries to help his wife, Chief of Police, Helen Greer, to discover who killed an elderly woman, Esther Beasley, who happens to live in the Falling Waters subdivision, where several burglaries have taken place recently. Do the burglaries and the murder have a connection? Find out by reading this unputdownable mystery, which I highly recommend to other mystery readers. J.R. and Susan Mathis have another well-written addition to the Justice and Mercy series. Father Tom and Helen work together to determine if past events are related to a modern-day incident. The authors aren't afraid to tackle challenging social issues, and this book was no different. The characters are very well developed.

I look forward to each book and can't wait for the next one to be published!
