4.5 ⭐️ | This cover absolutely sced me but I decided to stick it out anyway and I’m definitely glad I did. My interest was peaked at 3%, as it started out with a bang that had me wanting to continue turning the pages! First of all, If someone shows up & their name is Jo’Evil, you should immediately run, return to sender, decline any invitation offered!
This story was very well written & made me read it in one setting as I was anxious to see how this played out. I enjoyed the comic relief that Jasmine’s character brought. Although she was not wrapped too tight, some of her sayings had me laughing out loud, and that was appreciated considering I knew shhh would get real again when Jo’Evil made his presence known lol. I really enjoyed seeing Erica & Jasmines story unfold, & absolutely ready to see what havoc will be wreaked in book 2! This multi genre author did a great job in this one.

This story begins and ends with a bang. The motto of this book could be: You may not reap what you sow today, but the consequences will eventually catch up with you. I would definitely read the second book when it’s released.

Glad I got past the cover and picked this up anyway. This story follows two women who commit unspeakable crimes in their childhood. With a promise to walk free from their consequences both Erica and Jasmine make a deal with the devil. For years the women lived “normal” lives until it was time to fulfill their contract. Jo’Evil is waiting and always watching. He will collect your soul and anybody close to you.
This book was written well and kept me entertained from page one to the end. Short read.

I enjoyed it!
I’ve been waiting to read something by this author, and this one did not disappoint. This book follows two women, Erica and Jasmine. They don’t know each other, but they have something in common: both of them have made a deal with a demon to cover up a deadly secret.
After going on with their lives as if nothing had happened, their paths eventually collide. And now, it’s time for that demon to collect. There is no amount of running, apologizing, or confessing that will stop it from collecting on that deal.
The book started out like a normal thriller, and I remember thinking to myself that I hoped something different would happen because I wasn’t looking for “normal.” It was like the author heard me, because I was immediately hit with a twist and the plot went completely ape shit, in the best way. And just like that, we’re in a horror.
The audiobook was incredible. It’s narrated by J.R. Mason.
I don’t want to spoil anything, so I’ll just say that I really enjoyed the line of work Jasmine got involved in. And here’s a small tip: never trust anyone named Jo’ Evil. Check your triggers.

Ok, there has to be something really wrong with me because not only was I clutching my pearls and holding my breath, there were times when I actually laughed out loud! I couldn't get enough of this story and am excitedly waiting for the next book in the series! And, beware of Jo'Evil!

Well, well, what can I say? Geletta Shavers rs, step to the front real quick! WHAT IN THE SUGAR HONEY ICE TEA, you had me listening to...lol...The story was action-packed, started off good, and then it got real SPOOKY....lol...By the time the ending came, you had me psycho😂🤣..lol...It was a quick read and I highly recommend it. You know what, J.R. Mason on, nevermind----Go LISTEN to it (3D/HD as I call it),🤣 because she's definitely like that. On to book 2. I'm bout scared to start, got me shaking in my boots🫣🤐😏

The cover alone, whew! I was locked in. Story opens with Erica committing the unspeakable and accepting salvation in the form of someone named JoEvil 😈 You already know where we are headed, except you would be wrong! Not once did I have a handle on the direction of the story- I love that- give me twists and turns! Then we are introduced to Jasmine, who stumbles upon a horror being committed by her father, resulting in blood on her hands and another secret to bury.
These two women with two terrifying secrets find each other. They engage, willingly, in acts so vile, my mouth was wide open. These two create more nightmares together, all while trying to hold until love and family. This was a ride! Made better by the narration! JR Mason brought this to life- hats off to her. Jasmine definitely came across as evil gangsta, not sure she even needed a pack with JoEvil! Erica wanted redemption, while Jasmine was stone cold, ten toes down on revenge against those she felt deserved it.
Great pacing and engaging story! Looking forward to part 2.

First off let me say, I didn’t know what to expect but this wasn’t what I expected!!! The fact that you took them to Arkansas is diabolical lol! I’m from Arkansas and I don’t see areas close to home unless it’s a small (that’s where they’re from) or that they passed through our state so thank you for that! OAN: this is proof to be careful who you make deals with! You meet Tonya and Nettie and see things take a turn all because one person was tripping! Then we meet Erica and Jasmine who help with an organization that could be viewed as worth it to some given the back story of it. You have the devil himself Jo’evil (see look at that lol)! One person you don’t want around. Then you have innocent Drew and crazy Michael! All tie together at some point and you will see that sometimes you can’t have that happy ending! Also your past catches up to you 😉

This is a very good book with a good storyline. This book keeps you reading to see where the story goes next. There are two main characters, Erica and Jasmine. Read to see how Erica and Jasmine know one another. Read to see what happens to Erica as a child and as an adult. Read to see who Erica gets to help her. Read to see what Jasmine’s life is like and what happens to her. Once you begin reading the book you will find the answers to all of your questions and then some. If you like horror stories then this is must read. This book has suspense and horror, I rate this book a five because I enjoy reading these types of book.

Geletta Shavers knows how to keep you glued to the pages with nonstop drama, shocking twists, and characters that feel way too real.Erica and Jasmine’s story was the heart of this book for me.And let me just say… Jasmine had me hollerin’ the whole time! She was hilarious, bold, and unpredictable in the best way.
But whew be careful what you sign for, because some of these deals come with darkness you didn’t ask for. 😩

I don’t even know where to start with Dragon to Darkness. This book was completely psycho-crazy in the best and worst ways. It was disturbing, disgusting, and the gore was GORING. Definitely not for the faint of heart, but if you like extreme horror that makes you cringe, look away, and then keep reading anyway, this one will do it. I’m still speechless.
