The book tells the story of Tamil computing through Muthu Nedumaaran's life. The technical stuff about Tamil computing is there, but it's like you are learning about the field while following someone's actual career path, it doesn't read like a textbook. For me personally what made it work is you see him as a kid, struggling through early career challenges, facing setbacks before breakthroughs. It shows the very human path of someone who built something very meaningful through trial and error making the book inspirational and more importantly, relatable to young people.
