OMG besties, "Focus" by Moony Luve is THAT book. Like, s€rial k!ller €rotic h0rr0r?? Yes please—and Moony did NOT come to play. Andora Hollow, our bada$$ FMC, is a boudoir photographer who sees the darkness behind the lens… and girl, it gets gritty. This novella may be short, but it’s absolutely stacked with intensity, spice, and straight-up suspense.
It is told entirely from Andora’s POV, the pacing never feels rushed—every scene hit, every d€ath stung, and that TWIST? Jaw. On. Floor. I DEVOURED this in one sitting and I’m already reading Book 2. If you’re into dark, seductive horror that isn’t afraid to push boundaries, this one’s calling your name. But do NOT skip those trigger warnings—this one's not for the faint of heart. Run, don’t walk. Get it. Read it. Devour it.

Just this novella. The first book in a new series. This book is a solid 8/10, it’s a erotic serial killer horror. Now when I say serial killer, I don’t just mean she’s out looking for the right man. She knows what she wants, what she enjoys, and she ‘takes’ it 😏
This one isn’t quite as spicy 🌶️ as other books of her’s, but the subtle way she blends in the danger, death, and mayhem is perfect. As it is a novella is a short quick read, and it gets going it doesn’t stop until you’re done. Make sure you read the trigger warnings before you decide to check out this book. Cause trust me, you need to know first what you’ll be getting into. If you’re into it, it’s a definite read.

My oh my, what a deviously filthy, horrific piece of erotica.
Moony has done it again. Capturing me instantly with book 1, I need them all and will be reading this entire series as it comes out. Andora is just *chefs kiss*, a photographer that seeks power through performance. She's a dominant predator in every sense of the word and I love it. A strong female lead with a morally pitch black soul, an artist but definitely not in the traditional sense.
This book is full of tension and suspense as we watch Andora expose truths with her lens. There is so much story packed into these pages, the past catching up with the present and it going from something beautiful and innocent to something dark and truly heart breaking.
Cannot rate this high enough, I love Moony's books and her style of writing. The way she brings such relatable characters to life but makes them so unhinged and morally villainous is just perfection for me.
All I can say to end this review is GIVE ME MORE!

Boudoir photographer gone rogue. I absolutely loved this book! Andora Hollow is mysterious, insane, witty and absolutely unhinged in every way. At no point in this novella did I expect what Andora had up her sleeve for Dani and Blake and their “Clean Slate” photo shoot. My jaw was on the floor constantly. This book is dark, it is spicy in unexpected ways, it is gore and I loved every second of it!!

I know I’m not supposed to like Andora, but I can’t help it! She is not a nice person, but in a way, she is? I was surprised by the twist at the end, but also cool with it lol I hope in future novellettes we get more of her backstory and motivations because I want to know everything about her!
My favorite part about this read was the tension. The whole session, you can feel the tension of something is going to happen and just waiting for that to drop. So good.

i went into this not knowing what to expect other than the few warnings Moony gave us.
This book was insane! I was hooked instantly and Moonys writing just sank its claws deeper and deeper as the story progressed. Twisted, erotic, gore, the most unhinged little photographer ever and I’m in love!
I can’t want to see what the next book is like, but it’s Moony so I know it’s going to be perfection!
