I was asked if i could share a photo guide of my solid square from my Crochet mood blanket 2014. So i was busy taking pictures and i packet three variations to it. Instructions Solid Granny Square + 3 Variations The Varioationen are perceived by the type of filetcrochet. With a bit of practice result as beautiful patterns with a pinhole look. Such grannys result rather spontaneously with me.
This book, I believe, was written with good intention. However, the English is not too clear and the author seems to not want to repeat herself, so she just tells you to do it like the other granny square. It's just too confusing to read in English.
I found the beginning of each instruction a bit .... abrupt. Things are kind of mashed together. However, once you get into the square a little bit it the instructions become more clear and the square works up easily.
Nothing is discussed that you can't find for free elsewhere. Lots of grammar errors. Poor use of photos. I recommend visiting Revelry for good help, and lots of great patterns for free.
The instructions were not clear enough for me. More descriptive instructions and more pictures would have been helpful. I probably won't use this book.
