When the wealthy and charming Drew Graham walks into the Tawnee Mountain Resort where I work and offers me a lucrative part-time job it sounds too good to be true. I just have to pretend to be his fiancée until he wins the election for governor and then we can go our separate ways. It seems like an easy way to make a hundred thousand dollars…until his younger brother, Austin, returns from Europe and moves in with us. And I’m completely overwhelmed by my attraction to him.
Romance novelist Savannah Young grew up in rural northwest New Jersey in a place very similar to the fictional Old Town, which is featured in her books. When she's not at her computer creating spicy stories, Savannah is traveling to exotic locales or spending time with her husband and their bloodhounds.
Mazzy has been given an opportunity to good to refuse. Pretend she is the fiancee of candidate for New Jersey Governer, Andrew "Drew" Graham. He has no interest in her, but needs a push to help push his numbers up in the upcoming election. Things are fine until Drew's brother comes home and stays. Mazzy is attracted to Austin and as much as she knows he is hands off, pretend or not she is falling for him.
This was a entertaining read. Mazzy is a bright ray of sunshine and I think sometimes when you get an opportunity for a too good to be true moment, you push forward and reflect later. I can't wait for her twins story, I hope it comes soon. Another wonderful read from Savannah Young.
This was a great read! Nice and light. Something I needed since I've been on the dark side of romance for a while. I enjoyed the premise of the book because it's something I haven't read before. I loved the dynamic between Mazzy and Austin. Their banter had me laughing throughout.

Mazzy and her identical twin Suzie have a dream. A dream to open their own restaurant or even just a breakfast place. Between paying their bills and working for less then minimum wage as bartenders they figure they should have enough money saved about retirement age maybe . Until one night at the Tawnee Mountain Resort where they both work. Governor candidate Drew Graham offers Mazzy a job. Be his pretend fiancé until the elections in two months and he will pay her one hundred thousand dollars. Enough money to get their dream started. Really how hard can it be. After moving into the Graham Lake house Mazzy meets the black sheep of the Graham family Austin. Austin having seen Mazzy at work already was attracted to her. Never seeing Drew Mazzy spends more time with Austin and the sparks begin to fly. They need to keep it under control until the elections. But Mazzy and Austin aren't the only ones trying to keep a secret. Drew has even a bigger one.
Loved Mazzy, she is spunky and gives as good as she gets. She doesn't have any experience with men. Slowly falling in love with Austin. Austin the bad boy, never living up to what his parents expect him to be. He finds himself unable to get Mazzy out of his mind. he doesn't do love but finds that changing as he spends more time with Mazzy. For being the bad boy he just has a wonderful personality. He wants to protect her and show her a true relationship. Now Drew is hard to get a read on. He never says much just follows along with what his parents tell him to do to get elected. When his secret starts to come out there is a big build up and then it is almost anticlimactic when it does. But by that point in the book I was more interested in what was happening with Mazzy and Austin. Over all a wonderful read for lovers of romance.
I couldn't have picked a better book to start off 2015 with than Another Mazzy Monday. This was also my first time reading these two authors: Savannah Young and Sierra Avalon. The story is about two identical twins by the name of Mazzy and Suzie. For years the twins thought the Bangles song "Manic Monday" they would listen to it as children was called Another Mazzy Monday. That made Suzie so jealous that the song was about her sister. The girls were super so close that they were never separated for very long since birth. The girls always loved making up crazy new recipes to try out. The food service industry was always in their blood as their father worked day and night as a Chef. Mazzy and Suzie had always dreamed about opening up their own little breakfast restaurant on Main Street in Old Town. Knowing there was nothing quite unique as their restaurant in their town. However, financially on their salary working at Tawnee Mountain Resort they couldn't afford to make that dream a reality. That was until Mazzy met Drew Graham at a political fundraiser she was working. Drew Graham was running for Governor for the Republican Party and hopefully be the United States President one day. His numbers were slipping in the polls and many said it was because of his single status. So, he offered Mazzy a lot of money to become his fake fiance until the election was over. It was a job offer that she could not refuse for so many reasons. That is when the story became a book that you just couldn't put down until you were done. You think you know how the story will end but you have no idea! Heidi Lynn gives Another Mazzy Monday 5 out of 5 kisses.
This story is about a young woman named Mazzy who is bartending as a way to support herself and her sister. They have dreams of opening their own restaurant, but don't have the funds to make it happen. When Mazzy meets a guy named Drew at an event she's working at, it leads to a business deal and an engagement. It also leads Mazzy to Austin, Drew 's younger brother.
I really liked Mazzy and enjoyed seeing things from her point of view. She wasn't a weak character, although she did have a few tearful moments. She had a smart mouth and quick wit. When she and Austin first start getting to know each other, she's not even sure she likes him, but she soon realizes he's more than she thought.
You also get to see things from Austin's point of view. He is very opposite the rest of his family. And he admits to being a "bed-her-and-shed-her kind of guy". But all that changes when he meets Mazzy. Her being engaged to his brother should have put the brakes on things, but he just couldn't stay away. This might have soured the story for me if you didn't have the feeling the whole time that Drew was hiding something.
This was an enjoyable read which I would recommend to anyone looking for a nice romance that's light on the steamy parts.
I did not enjoy this book. From the summary, it felt unrealistic already. However, I have to admit. I was drawn to read the book because of the summary. Yes, it sounds unbelievable but it was a rather interesting plot.
I had quite a bit of problems with this book but I'm going to discuss the bigger issues. First of all, it was ridiculous from the beginning. A wealthy man contending to be a governor walks into a bar and immediately found the perfect woman to act as his fiancé. I get that he has done his research on her background. But it doesn't make sense as to why Mazzy is the most suited for the role when there are billions of people in the world.
Secondly, the chemistry and relationship between Mazzy and her love interest progressed too quickly for me. I didn't connect or get any love between the two characters. Honestly, it felt more like attraction and lust rather than love. I didn't feel anything for their relationship.
In a whole, this book could have been a good book but it fell a little bit too short on some of the important aspects. The characters felt flat and the plot could have been improved. As always, what I disliked may not necessarily be the same for you. Try it out if you're curious but I don't really recommend the book if you're looking for depth.
"Just another Mazzy Monday"....Reminds me of the Bangles song "Manic Monday" remember? Well like the song this book is qurky, cute and a fun read.
Mazzy and her sister Suzie have dreams of owning their own restaurant only problem is they don't have the funds to do it...Enter political canidate Drew Graham who offers Mazzy a job. Her new job, well it's not just any 9-5 job it's to pretend to be his fiancée
What Mazzy doesn't plan on is meeting Drew's brother Austin. Austin is the kinda of love them leave them guy and there is no love at first sight with these two.
It will take alot of work for these two especially Austin to bend and admit that walking away from Mazzy just isn't going to happen and why does Drew really need to hire someone as his fiancée?
Never have inread a book Savannah Young before I was going in to the known with Another Mazzy Monday, and hoping I liked the authors writing style. Luckily I found the authors writing style very easy to follow, the way she pulled you in to the story and really captured my heart especially when it came to the characters. She developed some really nice, interesting and likeable characters that I wanted know more about and told the story that flowed very well from start to finish, whilst capturing my interest and attention all the way throughout. The basis of the story is what really drew me in to this book though. The synopsis sounded very interesting and I defiantly wasn't disappointed at all when reading this book. Mazzy is a interesting character that I liked instantly. She was very driven, ambitious and hard working. I loved that she was working hard at the Tawnee Mountain Resort with her twin sister, Susie so that they could both save enough money to one day open their own restaurant. The Tawnee Mountain resort is a place that the rich and famous like to visit, so when the resort hosts a function for the upcoming elections of New Jersey Governor Drew (AKA Andrew Graham) the last thing Mazzy expected was to be offered to be offered the job of pretending to be Drew's pretend fiancé. I think Mazzy accepting the position of fake fiancé was a great idea. It would get her all the money she needed to open the restaurant she dreams of with her sister a lot faster than it would take working at the resort. I could understand that even though she wanted the position and the money, it wasn't going to be that easy for her as she would have to move in with Drew and leave her sister that she has always lived with and have always done everything together. Reading how upset and scared she was about leaving her sister was upsetting. I understood her pain but I could see how much of a great opportunity this was for them both. Everything goes well though when she does move in with Drew, the story is believable and they are making their 'engagement' very believable to others. That is until Drew's bad boy brother, Austin turns up and messes everything up. Austin is the bad boy if the family. He's hot as hell and the instant attraction between him and Mazzy is electric and instant. Poor Mazzy is put in a very horrible position and has no idea what she is meant to do and how she is going to pretend she's in love with Drew when actually she wants Austin. She is stuck in the middle of things she never wanted parted of and defiantly didn't sign up for. The story gets very interesting once Austin returns from Europe. Secrets are revealed, situations become awkward, people get hurt and you have no idea what is going to happen after all the revolations, twists and turns. Austin is Mazzy's saving grace. I loved how he was with her and how instant their attraction was. I really wanted to shout at my kindle at some points to Mazzy to tell her to go with her feelings more as they will never be wrong. Overall I enjoyed this story. It was different to a lot of the stories I have read lately and it was a refreshing read. I enjoyed that the story involved twins. I havn't ever read a story that had twins in it and I enjoyed reading about their relationship and how close they were. I found it very interesting. The story wasn't completely predictable, but parts of it was. This never bothered me at all though. A lot of stories are predictable with their own little twists . . predictable doesn't mean boring in my eyes at all. Predictable means your gareented to get a very good book to read and thats exactly what this book was. 4 Stars
“Oops a daisy “is a saying that we all heard at one time or another when we were young. As a young child our parents would hold us tight and give us a bit of a jump in their arms and catch us. Laughing and giggling saying again and again till we got our bit of a jump again. As we held our arms up high giving them our puppy dog eyes and lip quiver till they could no longer resist. Memories we hold dear.
Mazzy-pretty and down to earth
Austin-hunky
Drew-hunky withdrawn
Mazzy is a woman that is a plain and simple kind of woman always working so hard for what she has achieved in her life. Always working towards the unattainable but when life all of a sudden brings her to the forefront with the unattainable at hand will she reach out and grab it or will she let it slip by? The old saying goes looks can be deceiving does this turn out to be true for Mazzy?
Drew is a hunky kind of guy that can have any woman he so desires but is this the real Drew? He is in the running to be the governor but needs the sexy hot number on his arm to be true but is this the number that he truly wants or is it someone else entirely? Will Drew be able to come to his senses and make heads turn or will he do the proverbial right thing and stay on the path?
Austin is the hunky sarcastic brother of Drew he lives by his own rules of the land. He has this carefree attitude and no sense to duty but when his family calls he comes home to be the dutiful son if not only for a moment in time. This moment in time with his family brings him in contact with a sexy number that has the sparkling touch that ignites feelings within him that have never before been lit. Will he act upon this ignition or will he just stay within the lines? Plus it doesn’t help that the number happens to be engaged to his brother Drew hmmm what a tangled web.
Austin and Mazzy make beautiful music together. The ignition between these two is just so electrifying that is off the proverbial charts. Even though Mazzy is off limits to Austin it makes for a wonderful spark knowing that the unattainable is just within reach. Austin however makes a comment to Mazzy that sets this couples pace that will never be forgotten. But as emotions come into play for Austin and Mazzy will these two be able to find their forever? Will Drew make his secret known to the world or will he continue on this path even though Mazzy is in love with the other? This is their unique journey.
Oh did I mention that a bar and characters from one of this authors other books make appearances?
To the author: You took an everyday occurrence and brought it to the forefront in this unique read. You had me screaming and laughing and when twists came into play you had me at “Oh No he didn’t” but in the end you gave me fire. You have the AWE FACTOR in this unique read.
Just when I thought author Savannah Young would leave her fans brokenhearted with the conclusion of her popular Old Town Country Romance series, she teams up with author Sierra Avalon to create a spin-off series, Tawnee Mountain, that takes the readers back to Old Town, NJ to catch up with their favorite characters from the first series, while giving twin sisters Mazzy and Suzie Olsen their own spotlight!
In Another Mazzy Monday, the first book in the Tawnee Mountain series, Mazzy and Suzie are bartenders at the ritzy Tawnee Mountain Resort, who dream of owning their own restaurant. While at a fundraiser at the resort, wealthy NJ gubernatorial candidate Drew Graham offers Mazzy a job to pretend to be his fiancee for the next two months to help him secure votes to win the election, she has no problem agreeing to his proposal thinking that it would help her and Suzie obtain their dream ... that is until Drew's sexy younger brother Austin returns home from Europe, and Mazzy suddenly finds herself attracted to him instead!
In true Savannah Young style, she and fellow author Sierra Avalon weave another delicious romantic tale that will leave a smile on your face. I was so excited when I saw that there was going to be a spin-off series to the Old Town Country Romance series. I really enjoyed reading about the sexy Wilde brothers, and I was so happy to catch up with them and their lovely ladies, and finally getting the chance to read about Mazzy and Suzie, who had made cameo appearances in the first series.
Another Mazzy Monday is such a sassy fun story filled with humor, drama, witty banter, and sigh worthy romance. The reader will easily be drawn into the twin sisters' lives, and will enjoy following the romantic journey that awaits Mazzy. While I was intrigued by Drew's offer, I really enjoyed watching the relationship that developed between Mazzy and Austin. Let's just say that Austin fits right in with the Old Town gang, just like the Wilde brothers, this black sheep, motorcycle riding bad boy simply stole my heart! I can't wait to read Suzie's story! So if you want to read a contemporary romance story that will leave a smile on your face, then do yourself a favor, read both series ... you won't be disappointed!

This is a fun book. A cute romance but also talks about something real in our society. Drew is a man who always pleases his parents. Does no wrong so when he’s running for governor and his polls are down he finds someone to fake being his fiance. Mazzy and her twin work as bartenders and dream of having a restaurant so when drew offers her enough for that dream to come true she jumps on it. What she didn’t realize was that Drew’s younger brother Austin was around. When Austin and Mazzy meet sparks fly and they are attracted to one another. This is the story of one brother with a secret about who he loves, another who feels no one cares if he exists because he has always been a disappointment and the girl with a dream. the story of Drew being found out, mazzy and Austin falling in love and booths boys standing together finally against their parents. When you first meet drew you can see he is a shell. There is no real emotion. He seems to be about appearances but as you get to know him you see that he is complex and lost. He’s never done anything to rock the boat out of fear of disappointing his parents. With the pressure of the press and support of mazzy and Austin, he finally shows us himself. He finally let’s down the facade and we see the man who is in love. The man who laughs and cries and feels. I would to read his love story for that would be seeing the true Drew. Mazzy is fun loving and easy going. She is a hard worker with a dream. Austin was unexpected and she falls fast for him. She tries hard to stay away but cannot. When they get together wow it’s fourth of July on those pages and also there is a beautiful intimate connection. Like two lost souls finding each other and becoming whole again. Austin is great. He’s honest and snarky. Fun and not what you would expect from his family. He never expected to find love or stick around but Mazzy completes him. She makes him feel like he is worth something. A easy going fun love story to have you laugh and smile as you root for drew to free-market and show the world who he is and loves, and root for Mazzy and Austin to have their happy ending as well.
This story is about Mazzy and her twin Suzie who live in the small town of Old Town, N.J. They have had jobs since they were 16 and currently work as bartenders at a resort for the wealthy. Their dream is to open their own breakfast restaurant but know they may be retirement age before they save enough for it. That changes when Mazzy meets Drew, who is running for governor, at a resort event where she is working.
Drew's numbers are slipping in the poles because he is single so to get voters support Drew offers Mazzy a business proposition to be his fake fiancee until the election is over. Since he is willing to pay her $100,000 Mazzy can't pass up the chance to get the money for the restaurant and agrees to his plan.
Mazzy moves into Drew's parent's summer house with him and meets Drew's brother, Austin. Austin is the black sheep of the family and is only there because he was summoned to give the appearance of a united family while Drew is campaigning.
This fun story gets complicated when sparks fly between Mazzy and Austin. They can't keep their handle off each other but try because they don't want anyone know how they feel.
The big question is why does gorgeous Drew, who was voted the Most Eligible Bachelor, need a fake fiancee? You will want to read this book and find out Drew's secret. Trust me. You really will want to read it.
The characters are terrific in this book. Mazzy and Suzie were quite naive but driven by their goal of opening their own restaurant. Drew was an interesting character but I felt sorry for him because he was trying to live up to his parent's expectations and not always doing what he wanted. Austin tried to make himself and others believe he didn't care (about anything) but that changed when he met Mazzy. She saw that he was a kind and caring person and brought out the best in him. Drew's mother was a witch. One of those characters you love to hate. She only cared about appearances for political reasons.
I thoroughly enjoyed this story and highly recommend it to romance readers.
Please note I received a complementary copy of Another Mazzy Monday in exchange for my honest review.
What a great read this was – like the other books I’ve read by Savannah Young/Sierra Avalon, I was immediately drawn in to the world and characters she creates and can’t get enough of them. She has a way of making me feel like I've pulled up a barstool and am catching up with old friends.
I just loved Mazzy and her twin Suzie – they were a bit naïve about things, but since they spend their time working and sleeping, it’s not surprising that their world revolves around the resort they work in and the town they live in. When Mazzy literally runs into opportunity, in the form of hot politician Drew Graham, how is she supposed to turn down the offer to be his fake fiancé when it will give her and Suzie the capital they need to make their own dreams come true? And when her attraction to his younger brother threatens her arrangement with Drew, things really start to get interesting!
Let me just say that I loved Austin! He’s my favorite type of character - the black-sheep, motorcycle riding, broken, bad boy that always tugs at my heart strings. After meeting his parents, it was easy to see where most of his issues come from and why he left the country to get away from his “socially perfect” family. But underneath all of the snark and sarcasm, was a sweet, romantic that made you just want to *sigh* and a man who definitely knew what he wanted – which was Mazzy.
It was also great to catch up with the gang from Olde Town and see what they've been up to. I love the fact that this series connects with the Olde Town series so I don’t have to say goodbye to them quite yet!
These books by Savannah Young are quickly becoming comfort reads for me – just great stories that read well and leave me with a smile at the end. Can’t wait for more!
I was gifted a copy of this book by the author for an honest review.

Have you enjoyed the series "The Wilde Brothers' by Savannah Young set in Old Town and looking for more tales of the community ? Savannah Young/Sierra Avalon have brought out a spin-off series titled "Tawnee Mountain" , this series is based on identical twins Suzie and Mazzy whom is best friends with Harley Davidson and the girls started bartending and waitressing at Haymakers which is the bar that Jake Wilde owns. Saving up for their own dream in creating a resturant - the girls both work at the Tawnee Mountain resort waiting hand and foot on the rich and wealthy. The story starts when the resort decides to host a function for the upcoming elections of New Jersey governor - for Drew aka Andrew Graham who is running for Governor. The thing is though that Drew needs someone to act as his fake fiance and Mazzy seems to fit his criteria , so begins their fake fiance partnership and of course Mazzy gets enough money out of the deal to help towards Suzie and her dream of opening their own resturant. All goes to plan until Drew's younger brother turns up and Mazzy finds herself attracted to Austin - Drew's younger brother. What will happen though when secrets about Drew's past is revealed and puts Mazzy in an awkward situation as she cares about Drew but loves Austin ? As like this author's previous books "Another Mazzy Monday" is another wonderful read , that will have you sucked in from page #1. What I liked about this book too ,was the fact that the author connected both Wilde Series and this one together - similar to what Abbi Glines has done with her Rosemary Beach/ SeaBreeze series.
I am a long-time fan of both Savannah Young and Sierra Avalon, having read all of their books. This is their first collaboration, so I was excited to jump on board with the blog tour. (Okay, they are one in the same, as the author has four different pen names. Each pen name has a distinct personality, and in this book, she tried to bring two of them together.)
This book was interesting for me, because it wasn't my favorite out of the collection by these two authors. It didn't feel quite as real as the other books I have read, such as the Old Towne series featuring the Wilde Brothers. I had a bit more difficulty buying Mazzy's relationship with Austin. Yet, at the same time, I couldn't put the book down until I was finished with it. I pretty much knew where it was going to go and what was going to happen, but had to consume it all in one sitting.
What I love about these stories is that they are designed to give you a hot romantic read that you can burn through in one evening/bottle of wine. You wish you could be Mazzy and have fantasies of finding a man as awesome as Austin. It does have a slight twist from the usual "arranged marriage" type books that are so popular, that makes it stand out a bit in the genre. And, of course I now need to know what is going to happen to Mazzy's twin sister and will continue to read the series, as well as other offerings by this author, no matter the pen name. These stories are addictive, and I can see these characters continuing to develop in the future.
I received a complimentary copy in exchange for my honest review. I give it 3.5 stars.
I was provided with a digital copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Mazzy and her sister Suzie work at Tawnee Mountain Resort. Survival is what concerns them the most, and they make it a point to be attentive to the rich and mighty, harbouring dreams for making it big some day. When there is a party thrown for Drew, the local candidate for the post New Jersey governor, Mazzy has little idea that her life would change forever. Drew, desperately looking for someone suitable to pretend to be his fiancee till the elections are over, zeroes in on Mazzy as a good fit. Though Mazzy agrees, the equation changes when Drew's brother Austin enters the scene. Although having a lot of affection for Drew, it's Austin that Mazzy falls helplessly for, and gets irresistibly attracted to. Raking up some secrets from Drew's past doesn't help matters either. Does Mazzy settle for Drew or admit to her feelings for Austin, is what the book takes us through.
Much in line with the Wilde Brothers breezy romance series, Young presents an enjoyable read in this book too. The storyline kept moving, albeit a tad slowly. The characterisation was easy to understand and ponder over, presumably what Young had intended to achieve. The narrative was smooth and flowed without stagnating.
Overall, this was an easy, casual and light read and I definitely recommend this to lovers of romance.
Mazzy and Susie both work for the Tawnee Mountain Resort and also part time at Haystackers the bar owned by the Wilde brother. Drew Graham is running for governor and the resort is holding his fundraiser. Mazzy runs into Drew and he asks her to call him and set up at meeting for Monday because he has a job to offer her. When she shows up for the appointment he says he needs her to act as his fiance' until he can secure winning the election. She isn't sure what to say until he offers her a quarter of a million to do this for two months and then they will go their own ways. She figures this is a way her and her sister can get their new resturant up and going. Mazzy and Susie are identical twins and have always lived together, so when Mazzy tells her she has to move into Drew's mansion she is surprised and upset about them being apart. What Mazzy didn't count on was Drew's Bad Boy brother, Austin returning from Europe. The attraction between the two of them is electrifying . Now what is Mazzy to do acting in love with one when she is falling for the other. There is some sexual scenes in this book so it may not be for all
Mazzy and her twin, Suzie, live in Old Town, NJ, where they work at a resort for the rich and dream of the day they can open their own breakfast restaurant. So when she meets Drew Graham, who is running for governor, and he offers we $100,000 to pretend to be his fiancee for the duration of his campaign, she jumps at the chance, for she will finally be able to open her restaurant. What she isn't prepared for is Austin, Drew's younger brother and the instant attraction that sprouts between them. As Drew is never around, she finds herself with Austin more and more until they give in to each other. When the media catches wind of a seriously private matter in Drew's life everything comes to light and explodes in their faces. Now that she is free of her fake engagement will she and Austin be able to have a real relationship or will he blow out of town as quickly as he came in? This was an amazing quirky love story. I love that they were able to find each other amidst all the insanity going on in their lives. I hope you read this and enjoy it as much as I did.
Wow, I read the description of this book and knew I had to read it. Drew is a wealthy man and looking for someone to be his fake fiance until he wins the election for Governor. Mazzy happens to be in the right spot and he offers to pay her to be his fake fiance. When she meets Drew's brother Austin, she is attracted to him. This storyline is different then ones I read and I absolutely loved it.
Mazzy is a great character. With a name like Mazzy, I excepted her to be a flaky character that didn't have mush going on upstairs but she is nothing like that. I wasn't really sure why Drew needed to pay someone to pretend to be his fiance, he seems descent. Austin is the bad boy of the family. He is not the relationship type. He and Mazzy hit it off and there is instant attraction. Mazzy being his brother's fiance doesn't prevent him from getting close to Mazzy.
It's a good read that will keep you interested from beginning to end.
Mazzy and her twin sister Suzie have always dreamed of owning their own restaurant. But at 22years old and working as bartenders for a newly opened resort, they realize it will take years to save enough to make their dream a reality. When a handsome man at a political event offers Mazzy a job and opportunity, the money is too enticing to refuse. Mazzy must pose as the man’s fiancée until after the next election is over. If she can pull this off, she will have enough money to finance a restaurant. The only problem is her fiancé’s hot, rebellious brother Austin. He makes her want to give up on this crazy scheme, but the thought of backing out now fills her with dread. How hard can it be to stay away from a man you are very attracted to for 10 weeks? Good story with great character descriptions. I loved Austin from the start and was hoping for the HEA the author gave us. 4 stars.
First I received this book as an arc for a honest review. I loved Mazzy and her twin sister Suzie. They are young and naive. They have worked since they turned sixteen on nights and weekends so never actually dated and had relationships. They are both bartenders at Tawnee Mountain. Mazzy meets Drew at a fund raiser she works, he is running for governor of New Jersey. He wants to hire her to be his pretend fiancee for the next two months before the election as he has been told an engaged/married man will get more votes. She accepts so her and Suzie can have their dream, their own restaurant. They can get it with the money Drew will pay her. Now the problem. Drew's hot hunk of younger brother Austin. And the sparks that fly when Mazzy and Austin meet. What will happen? Great light entertaining read.
Well, just look at the title...Love it!! Catchy isn't it? With the title being cute so is the book.
In the beginning you meet Mazzy, she is a bartender that aspires to own her own establishment and become big. But there is one problem, and a problem that most of us have....money...One day in the bar comes in Drew, his dreams is politics and he has the money... Drew is needing a fiance to get that dream. So you have Mazzy-lack of money and Drew- lack od arm candy...Ding... We have a winner, or do we?
Drew is not the greatest guy out there, but Mazzy does her part. Then one day in pops Drew's brother Austin and BAM instant attraction folks.
I don't need to go more in depths of this read, but oh my, such a cute story-line.
Another Mazzy Monday is a great start to the new Twanee Mountain series. It is set in Old Town, so you hear about characters from the Old Town Country Romance series and catch up with them as well.
This story is about hard-working Mazzy Olsen agreeing to be engaged to Drew Graham, the man running for Governor of New Jersey. There is only two months until the election and their engagement will boost his numbers for the polls. All is fine and good, until she meets is brother Austin. This is a fabulous story about two people meeting and truly falling in love.
I can't wait for the next book in this series! I love reading Savannah Young's books. Her character development is strong and I can never get enough! I would strongly recommend this book!
This was a nice change of pace read for me. It is about identical twins, Mazzy and Suzie, and Drew and Austin. Jazzy and Suzie have spent their lives in a small town and always together. Mazzy meets a gentleman named Drew, the most eligible bachelor and is running for governor. Drew offers Mazzy a business proposition that she can't refuse. During this arrangement, Mazzy meets Drew's brother, Austin, which complicates her arrangement with Drew. Drew finally reveals his secret to the news which allows Mazzy to pursue all her dreams including the man she loves. I loved the storyline of Drew's secret and how important it is to be true to yourself. I received this book in exchange for an honest review.
Another Mazzy Monday was the first book I have read from this author. I had no idea what to expect. It turned out to be a cute love story. A woman is asked to pretend to be engaged to a politician that is running for governor. In exchange, he offers to pay her $100k. I don't want to spoil the book by telling what happens but it's a light read. I usually like books with more grit than fluff but this one was pretty good. My only complaints are that it could've been a little longer, with more of the build up of Mazzy and Austin. Also, I thought the ending was a little cheesy (he automatically thinks she found someone else because they were hanging a poster in a restaurant?) I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Mazzy and Susie are twin sisters who work at a resort in their small town. They have a dream to one day open their own restaurant. Mazzy runs into local hottie politician Drew Graham who makes her a deal she can’t refuse. All she has to do is pretend to be his girlfriend until after the election. Mazzy agrees because her and her sister need the money to open their dream restaurant. The only problem, Mazzy quickly falls for Drew’s younger brother Austin.
I loved the banter between Austin and Mazzy, this book had me laughing out loud on more than one occasion. It has great writing and relatable characters. I look forward to reading more from Savannah Young!
*** obsessed by books arc given for an honest review *** when you pretend to be someones fiancée all kinds of things are bound to happen. Mazzy takes the part of the fiancée to the political candidate drew, in hopes to receive enough money to start the restaurant her and her sister have always dreamt about. while playing the role of drews fiancée she meets the playboy brother Austin and whoa the sparks, but these two deny any chemistry what so ever. will admit that they want each other or will they let their pride and drew get in the way. I love this story. the banter the sexual frustration this book had it all I give this book a 5 star rating and will be recommending it .

I'm really into "forbidden romance" and this novel it has a lot of that. At first I felt like the story was going straight forward like I knew everything that was going to happen but except I didn't, I mean yes, it is a very predictable novel but it still has some really good twists. The writing is not as good as I was expecting it felt like it was all happening to fast without any explanation and some parts were really unrealistic but at the end it all work out for me, if you're looking for a summer book that will keep you entertained for 2 days this is a book you should probably read.
This is the first book I have read by Savannah Young or Sierra Avalon and I will be checking them both out again. Mazzy was a great female lead; I really enjoyed her unusual name and her banter with Austin. I didn’t click with Drew as he came across as a bit stand off-ish to me but at the end I liked him a bit more. Absolutely hated Austin and Drew’s mum, I mean she was just awful! The book ended wonderfully, I am a sucker for a HEA! I can’t wait for Suzie’s story but first I need to check out the Wilde brothers! 5 Stars!
