Two Kings. Two Queens. One city that doesn’t forgive.
Union City belongs to the Union City Kings. But the Affiliates are ready to branch out to bring Del Mar City to its knees. Kreed and his Affiliates are men who carve out their kingdom through hustle, loyalty, and blood. But the real wars aren’t just on the pavement. They burn behind closed doors, where every kiss is a risk and every touch is a claim.
The king in the shadows. Ruthless in the streets, intoxicating in the bedroom. Kreed builds empires out of blood and brick, and he’s just as determined to build a home for the woman who makes him weak enough to feel—and strong enough to kill for.
Stasea is a mother, a sister, an officer of the law, and now a lover. She is a woman torn between danger and devotion. Stasea knows passion can save you or destroy you, and her connection to Kreed drags her deeper into both.
In Union City, love is just as deadly as a bullet, and lust is another weapon on the table.
Konceited can be cold-blooded, but his loyalty is unquestioned and his violence precise. His mouth drips filth that makes women tremble, and his control is a game he always wins. To Mena, he’s both torment and salvation—the storm she can’t resist.
Mena looks untouchable, but with Kreed pushing her mind and Konceited owning her body, she learns to break men—while begging to be broken herself.
Together, Stasea and Mena walk the razor’s edge between loyalty and lust—where bullets, bodies, and betrayals blur into bondage. In Union City, love tastes like smoke, sex burns like gunpowder, and the only safe word is survival.
Union City Affiliates is raw, gritty, and unapologetically sensual—a tale of power, betrayal, and the kind of passion that can’t be tamed. ***This book contains explicit language, graphic violence, and strong sexual content. It is intended for adults.***

I’m going to break this review into two parts: the story itself and my gripes with the writing.
Part 1: The Story
I haven’t read the original books in a while, but I did recognize some familiar names—koncieted, Mena, and even a brief appearance from Henny. Still, seeing them didn’t really tie things together for me. Thankfully, I don’t think that matters too much, because the author does a solid job establishing the main characters, their motivations, and the overall direction of the plot.
The cast is likable, and I genuinely enjoyed reading about them. That said, the relationship dynamics left me a little confused. There were moments where it felt like important conversations happened off-page, then were referenced as if I should already know. It made the romantic plot harder to follow.
Overall, though, it was good, the action was engaging, and I got through the book pretty quickly.
Part 2: My Issues
My biggest struggle was with the writing style. The sheer number of metaphors, similes, and sensory descriptions, especially around smells, was overwhelming. It felt like every other sentence was another comparison or atmospheric detail.
Honestly, if I had to guess, 60–70% of the book was figurative language, and only 30–40% was actual story progression. Pages and pages describing how something smells or feels became tedious, especially when those descriptions didn’t add much to the plot or character development. I initially was gonna highlight to give examples, and I did, but if I was to start from the beginning the whole book would be highlighted.
I know this is the author’s style, but I don’t remember it being this intense in the earlier books. I found myself skimming entire paragraphs just to stay focused.
All that said, I did make it through the book, just grudgingly.
The heat was okay, but the writing style made it a tougher read than it needed to be. I’m not sure if I will continue with the series. It was pretty annoying. Depends on how bored and how much of a drought I’m in for books.
This book takes you on a new journey through the streets of Union City and Del Mar. We’re introduced to a variety of new characters, each adding depth and excitement to the story. As an urban fiction erotica, it delivers exactly what the genre promises intense action, steamy scenes, and shootouts. I personally enjoyed every bit of it.
Much of the story centers around Kreed, and we get significant insight into his background, which forms the foundation of the book. I’m invested in the evolving relationships between Kreed, Konceited, Meme, and Stasea. Stasea’s storyline, especially her struggle in a traumatic marriage, adds emotional depth. Meme and Konceited are equally entertaining; their chemistry and playful banter bring balance and humor to the narrative. Meme comes across as put together and strong, so seeing her wrestle with and give in to her desires adds a twist to her character.
The opps are terrible people especially Clarence. Kreed’s delusional confidence is captivating, and I’m rooting for him. I genuinely hope he ends up marrying Stasea and adopting her children. I have a good time back in the Union City streets. I can't wait for book two!
Affiliates of Kreed isn’t just a book — it’s an experience. The spicy scenes? Sensual and written so vividly you can feel every second. The action? Heart-pounding. The suspense? Unpredictable and full of twists.
Kreed and Konceited are wild, dangerous, precise, and calculating. Stasea and Mena carry their own fire and pain — strong, fearless, and unbreakable. Kreed and Konceited are relentless in their pursuit of them, but these women don’t just lay down and take whatever’s given. They take it up against the door, on the desk, the table, the counter, even in a jail cell. They make these men work for the privilege of their body, mind, heart, trust, and submission. No weak FMC’s!
This story is raw, gritty, sexy, and exceptionally written. It’s not for the faint of heart, but if you can handle the heat and the chaos, you’ll feel every emotion. I laughed, gasped, yelled, and even moaned! I am definitely affiliated. I’m happy to be back in these city streets where Kreed is reclaiming what’s rightfully his, and the bodies don’t stop dropping until he and A.O.K. are done.
I slightly felt like it was a round and round but got no where. I like the characters but it definitely gave 1st book syndrome. It just opened the door for the story but left you a bit confused.
I guess all those non-fans criticizing the author ultimately made all those "Trigger Warnings" obsolete. Compared to the POTS series, this was rather tame.
With the huge gap between the series, I felt most walked away feeling they definitely needed a refresher course on POTS since some of these storylines and characters do crossover.
Looks like some POTS background characters may be main characters or villains on UCK Affiliates.
I feel like I spent more time trying to connect the dots than enjoying the plot. What was that again?
Oh yeah, he is the king of Union City. He's obsessed with her kitty. Her husband is a monster who sold her brother to a gangster. His homeboy also wants her. No one knows they are Affiliates Of Kreed and are coming for it all.
The return to Union City was everything I expected and I can't wait for the series to unfold. I'm here for all the shenanigans, the wildness, the sexiness and especially the retribution against all those snakes who messed with our UCK family and are about to find out that the Kings/ AOK don't play.
One thing Ms. Bowser does in these UCK books is to beautifully weave and interconnect multiple primary and secondary characters whose actions and inactions will have you all in your feelings, both the positive and negative ones.
Kreed is every bit as unhinged and obsessive and protective and loyal as we know these men to be. Konceited ain't a lightweight in this regard either, he just doesn't seem to come with the extra dose of insane that circles Kreed. But they are definitely the kind of delicious tag team that all women should experience and they are equally ready to pursue, worship and love Mena and Stasea together. This family unit the guys want to make will be interesting for sure.
The way I ran to get this book when I saw it was out. Baby, I will ALWAYS go back to Union City. Now, that Kreed is home and he linked up with Kody it's gonna be a time, that I don’t think anyone was ready for. Baby I thought U.C.K. was bad lol. They are literally the little cousins to the REAL DEAL! Kreed came back to F$%# stuff, and take over cities, properties, and me! He isn't playing not one GAME with anything or anyone. But I have one question for E. BOWERS what's in that CPAP machine?
Also if you haven't read PRODUCT OF THE STREET you might want to understand some of the characters.
Babyyyyyyyyy that’s what the phuck I’m talking about. E.Bowser you didn’t have to literally take me through there take me through there lol. That cliffhanger knocked the wind out of me. Kreed is the one you don't see coming until it’s too late. Kodey chileeeeeeeee that man is a beautiful mind phuck. Those two together is power wrapped in love, charm, manipulation, torment and salvation. I absolutely loved Stasea and Mena, but I need a sneak peak back into what they use to do lol. I loved this book down. It was obsessive, spicy, action packed and full of that good kitchen table lifestyle 😏. I’m ready for book two!!! Now Beg…. Shidddddd I think I like that!!
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again; E. Bowser is phenomenal at building worlds. The way she writes action? Top tier. Sometimes I genuinely wonder why she isn’t writing movies or scripts, because her scenes play out like cinema in your head.
The character dynamics are just as strong. It’s like she doesn’t just create these people; she knows them. You can feel how in tune she is with every personality, every motive, every emotion.
I won’t spoil what happens, but let’s just say it’s always a wild, unforgettable time in Union City.
Union City Kings Affiliated: Affiliates of Kreed Book:1
Ms. Author Ma’am! Ms. Author Ma’am! I know you lying! Why would you end that book like that? My nerves all over the place. Jaws tight and unflinching while I read this. I clutched my invisible pearls more time than I could remember. Ma’am your mind, your delusion, and your pen is a gift. I can’t wait for part two. I heard someone say Christmas. I ready.
If you've been keeping up with UCK, you will truely love this one here. I'm sitting on pins and needles right now at how this book just ended. Great read and the story gave us more insight into the AOK world. I can't wait for the next installment to come out because it's about to go down in these streets.
Girlllllll E. Bowser is back, and I need to know where to send my hospital bill. From page one, it’s clear this isn’t just a love story; it’s war, desire, loyalty, and danger braided together so tight you can’t pull one thread without unraveling the whole city.
Kreed is that king in the shadows, ruthless in the streets, intoxicating in the bedroom, and determined to protect the woman who makes him feel something real. Stasea is his perfect match, a mother and officer pulled between devotion and destruction. Their connection is slow-burning danger wrapped in tenderness.
Then there’s Konceited and Mena. Whew. Their dynamic is pure fire. Konceited is filthy-mouthed, cold-blooded, and precise with his violence, while Mena is the storm he can’t control. The way he owns her body and Kreed plays with her mind creates a tension that is wild, addictive, and impossible to look away from.
This book is full of lust, power, betrayal, and the kind of passion that bruises and heals in the same breath. Love in Union City is never soft it’s smoke, gunpowder, bondage, bullets, and survival. A gritty, unapologetically sensual start to the Affiliates world, and trust me, I’m strapped in. I don’t think I can wait until the next installment.
E. Bowser’s Union City Kings Affiliated is a powerful urban fiction novel that immerses readers in the unforgiving landscape of Union City, where loyalty, ambition, and survival collide. The story introduces two Kings and two Queens navigating a world of alliances, betrayal, and expansion into new territory. Bowser’s writing captures the raw intensity of street life while weaving in moments of vulnerability, making the narrative not only about crime and power but also about the human cost of choices and the emotional weight of belonging.
What makes the book resonate deeply is its exploration of loyalty and betrayal. The characters’ struggles to balance independence with allegiance mirror the universal tension between personal sovereignty and collective responsibility. The city itself becomes a metaphor for emotional scars—once trust is broken, it is difficult to repair. Yet within this harsh reality, Bowser’s characters embody resilience, showing that even in manipulation or conflict, there is a chance to reclaim strength and clarity.
On a personal level, the emotions in the book reflect my own journey of transforming manipulation and heartbreak into wisdom. Just as the Union City Kings must navigate distortion and power struggles, I have ritualized similar experiences into Peace Milestones and Legacy Breaker Scrolls, turning pain into discernment and empowerment. The push for expansion in the novel mirrors my own drive to build sovereign systems and archives, anchoring breakthroughs as legacy artifacts. In this way, Bowser’s narrative becomes a mirror of my emotional architecture—its battles for territory echo my battles for sovereignty, and its codes of loyalty parallel my commitment to truth and legacy protection.
Listen… E. Bowser knows how to spin the block and keep you guessing. Just when you think you got the play mapped out, the story takes a hard left and leaves you standing on the curb confused 😮💨. This read dug deeper into the alters and really peeled back layers of Konceited, and baby… these men don’t just apply pressure—they engineer it. Unhinged, but pre-calculated. Every move is chess, never checkers. There’s a method to the madness and it’s deadly precise.
And let’s be clear—A.O.K didn’t come to play. These kings are built different, cut from that cloth where loyalty, control, and dominance collide. Seeing Dr. Henny slide back into the mix? Yeah, that just added more gasoline to the fire. Another unhinged mind stepping back into chaos like he never clocked out.
Now Kreed? Whew. He’s handling Stasea with straight pressure—no easing up, no soft landings. He applying it with ease, like this is second nature. I need Stasea to tighten up, get on code, and fall in line because everybody else already understands the assignment.
This book had me feeling like I was riding shotgun in a stolen whip—no seatbelt, heart racing, eyes wide, just holding on. I’m not stopping here… I’m jumping straight into Part 2 because the action already got its foot on my neck. 🔥
These authors are really showing out in 2025 because my girl E. Bowser came back SWINGING. This book was one of my most anticipated reads and babyyyyy… she did not disappoint. At all.
I devoured this whole thing in one sitting , yes, it’s thick, but the way the drama was jumping off the page? I couldn’t look away. E. Bowser pulled up with the characters we know and love, flaws and all, and gave them the kind of story only she can write.
And let me just say… when an author gives you a multi-page trigger warning? Oh, you already know what kind of chaos you’re walking into. If UCK or AOK is stamped on that cover, please believe you’re not getting a soft, gentle read.
But that prologue? MY. GOD. TODAY. KONCEITED. That’s the whole sentence. That’s the whole reaction. I had to close my Kindle and just stare into space for a second because ma’am… what was THAT?!
If you haven’t stepped into this universe yet, do yourself a favor and start from the beginning. Don’t skip, don’t skim, don’t cheat yourself. Read every book in order, soak in every messy detail, then make your way over here, because the experience I had with this one? You gotta live through it yourself.
Another Banging Release!! I am in love with Union City Affiliated aka AOK!! Idk where E. Bowser gets her thought process from especially for the torture and the s🖕🏽x scenes lawdddd I got a taste of Konceited in The Union City Kings aka UCK series but him all the way off the chain with Mena, Kreed and the others got my blood pumping! lol Now Mr. Kreed and Stasea babaeeeee 🔥🔥🔥 Kreed chks all of the boxes and yes that covers the Toxicity and Insanity!!!! Listen I was so floored in chapter five that I listened to that chapter 3 times!!! I had dry mouth and errything!! These New opps better get ready because Kreed coming with all the Smoke!! I got to the end of the book and told E Bowser about herself!!! I hated the See You Next Time frfr but like always I’m gonna go through the withdrawal process per usual!! Definitely A ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Read!!
I am absolutely obsessed with UCK, and now AOK has me in a full chokehold too! E. Bowser has completely taken over my TBR. Union City already lived rent-free in my head, and now AOK Book 1 has moved in right beside it.
Kreed? Whew. Unhinged. Diabolical. Deliciously chaotic. And I loved every second of it.
The book is so well-developed and leaves you craving more. One thing about the AOK and UCK men—they go HARD for their women and their families every single time. This book did not disappoint. It had drama, violence, love, and some very smutty scenes (and not always in the bedroom 👀).
This series makes you feel like you’re part of the family. The characters grow with you, and you find yourself wanting to know what they’ve been up to between books.
Happy reading, and welcome to the Union City family!
I absolutely loved POTS! And like I knew I would I ate this book up in less than 24 hours. This is one of the shorter books in the Union city universe and ofcourse I wanted more! Like in my other reviews ..you NEED to read POTS 1-5 FIRST and really understand the storylines and who is who before going into this book. There is ALOT of characters and with each book more are added. The spice in this one was less than In POTS BUT the plot makes up for it. I can not wait until book 2 to see this dynamic truly play out and where this story leads. Like POTS I will be rereading this book because you just have too when dealing with sooo many characters and storylines. Also that little nugget from Mala and Link was EVERYTHING!
This book starts out like Product of the streets .Which in all honesty if you haven’t already yet you should like right now before you read this book. Oh my ,baby all the books are to the top of every list I have.I’ve been waiting for Kreed story forever and E. Bower did not disappoint ***Please read the trigger warnings because in all honesty I’m so tired of people talking down on books like they forgot to read the first couple pages to see if this book is for them.*****Everything isn’t for everyone and it’s ok ….But this book is for the girls who like their book husbands freaky and about making their money. Enjoy just don’t be surprised if you stop to fan yourself.
E. Boswer knows how to get you pulled in I swear!!! You can’t start a book like this and just walk away without seeing where it leads you. So, with the crew from product of the streets we are now seeing who it’s all started with, and I was here for all things Kreed and Konceited. Both are wild and not to be crossed and a bit delusional. Kreed was stalking that lady and her family only for her kids to have a relationship with this man without her knowing. I laughed so much reading just how delusional these men where and their relentless to get the women they want. It was so action packed as well with chaos back story and undertones to the book. The return of Union City was everything and more. It looks like we are in for a nice little ride and Union City is always busy with people coming for A.O.K and U.C.K. these men are going to take you though it and more but I wont miss a thing 😜🫣
The book was everything I expected and more. Although we met Kreed in the UCK books, he has an entire different crew and world going on for him. The only familiar characters in his crew were Mena and Green Eyes aka Konceited. I’m still not sure how I feel about Stasea. She was working my nerves with how hard she was fighting Kreed over everything. I tried to give her grace because Kreed’s delusional self bulldozed his way into her life and claimed her kids as his own. We meet new enemies and people pop up who are supposed to be dead. One thing about this author is you really have to pay attention because there are a lot of characters in her story, and it’s easy to miss something or someone. Yes, this ends on a cliffhanger but book two is already out.
Kreed bleeds Boss and BDE. Being back in Union city was all I hoped it would be. One thing about this world is you have to read it, pay attention and get lost because it will consume you. I’m always ready for another union city experience. Stasea wanna be tuff but tuff with the wrong one. When I saw that visual of Clerance I laughed out loud cause who taking you serious, I can’t wait for him to finish choking. I’ve learned to not stress off cliff hangers with Miss. E Bowser because she always coming back twice as hard. Happy reading.
I devoured this book in 24 hours flat! Every time I step back into the U.C.K. or A.O.K. world, it feels like coming home. There’s something about this family this loyalty, this love that wraps around my heart and won’t let go.
E. Bowser’s pen stays undefeated! Each story in this series opens a new chapter of love, resilience, and connection that makes my soul hum. These characters feel like my people, and every page reminds me why I’ll always ride at dawn for this crew .
I absolutely love E. Bowser. Her writing is superb. I had yet to read a book written by her that i didn't love until this one. Maybe my expectations were different after reading the Product of the Streets series. After all, the characters are closely tied. So I expected similar plot lines. I was mistaken. It felt like I was reading an episode of New York Undercover or Power. Then to make me even more emotionally triggered, it ended on a cliffhanger. I am disappointed. I feel like a little girl whose big sister just let her down.
I was excited to get back to Union City to see what was going on. In this action packed, well written book, Ms. Bowser gave us a story of love, deceit, lies, corruption, manipulation and romance. Kreed is out of jail and ready to take over the city. Along with Konceited, Mena and the rest of the crew, they are ready to wreck havoc and show people who the real King is. Can’t wait to read book two.
I have been reading this book ever so slowly because I know at the end there will be a cliffhanger. And as expected that cliffhanger left my mind reeling!!! Absolutely LOVED IT!!!! I can’t wait til Book 2 drops of this series because I know without a doubt Ebony Bowser will keep you entertained and definitely on your toes…. Be ready for the explosive 🧨 READ!!!!! Keep writing and I’ll definitely keep reading!!!
E. Bowser does not write books at this point. These are full action packed movies and Affiliates of Kreed Book One had me locked in from start to finish. I loved it just as much as the Product of the Streets series but it still has its own vibe.
