She wants a fresh start, but she wasn't expecting him, or how deeply he gets under her skin.
Dante:
I don’t trust her. She gets under my skin and I know that she’s up to something. I don’t care that she’s sexy as hell with a sharp tongue and a desire to drive me insane. No matter how tempting she might be, or how deeply she seems to dig her claws in, I won’t give in.
Sofia:
I want a fresh start. Something away from my overbearing family and that means a trip across the ocean to a whole other continent and country. The opening as head housekeeper for the local Italian Mafia Don is perfect. Until I meet him. The annoyingly handsome underboss that clearly thinks I’m a spy or trying to spill secrets back to my family. I really shouldn’t care, but he gets under my skin and the chemistry between us is far too thick to ignore. Especially when he dares to hide a camera in my room…
*This is a prequel novella for the Lost De Luca Sisters series and is set before the beginning of book 1, Little Mouse.
I live in New Brunswick, Canada with my husband and our two dogs, Remi and Sako (pronounced Say-co). When I’m not writing, I’m playing fetch with the dogs, talking to my parents for endless amounts of hours, annoying the crap out of my husband, or just enjoying life with my friends. Writing has been a part of my life since I was about 12. I started out just writing short stories or silly knock-offs of my favorite shows or movies. Soon, though, I realized just how much I loved to write. How often my mind would wander and think of characters and where they could go. They became real to me, and I would start to write. I used to fill up notebooks and pads of paper when I got an idea. It would be an obsession, almost, to get on paper. Then, when I was old enough to have a computer, I started there. Now, I’m 28 years old and I finally hit that button. The one that I’ve thought about it over and over again for the past 16 years. There is no greater joy, or fear, at realizing you’ve just accomplished something that you’ve wanted to do for so very long. That is my greatest accomplishment and I look forward to hitting that button on many more.
Little Wolf By Emily Rose is the prequel to the de Luca sisters. Wow what a start to the de Luca sisters series. Emily really has a great way of starting a series with a bang.. This story is about Dante and Sofia and their love hate relationship and mind blowing sex with no strings....sofia is the house keeper for Nico and sometimes her mouthing off drives Nico crazy he'd love nothing more than to fire her. But he knows she's the best he's ever had. She runs his home with an iron fist and doesn't stand back and let Nico men rake advantage of the maids. With this as 0.5 book we in for an awesome ride. Hold tight for this roller-coaster ride we I for.
Prequel to the De Luca Sisters' series and gives the back story and meeting up of Sofia and Dante and how they move from suspicion to trust and more. A delightful short, billed as 'part 1' with the second part to come later in the year (I can't wait!). I was thrilled to get this extra insight - not only to the FMC/MMC, but also to the rest of the household. Love me a bit of Nico! Enjoy - and if you haven't yet, read the whole series - top class story telling.
If you have been reading the De Luca Sisters and you have been wondering about the history of Sofia and Dante? This is the book you need! If you are wanting to begin to understand the dynamics of Nico's home. This is the book you want! The chemistry between Sofia and Dante smolders like a banked campfire just waiting to flame again. It is a prequel to a fantastic series!
This is a great introduction to the series. This is part one of Little Wolf. That one is recommended for after Little Deer. Little Wolf was a fast paced book. I enjoyed the banter from Sofia towards everyone. Sofia and Dante's chemistry is 🔥!! Can't wait to see how their story unfolds in Part 2. Follow along for my thoughts throughout the series.
The synopsis for the novella on the website alluded to a different story than the prequel and that was really disappointing for me. It was a good read but really not necessary TBH and probably would have meant more if we had already been given their book.
This is my first read by Emily Rose and I must say:
Respectfully, how dare you leave us on a cliffhanger! I nearly devoured the book in one sitting! Can not wait for part 2 and catch up on the series this book is a prequel to.
ARC reader. Such a great book. Short and sweet but ends in a little cliffhanger . A great and powerful FMC in this book. A different take on the mafia and I am obsessed!! Give this book a try! Comes highly recommended!
Prequel to how Sofia and Dante met... I need it ...like yesterday!!!!!..I need it today... this series is so underrated...loved every page!!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
