Circle of Elders A Journey to ManhoodIn the year following his fifteenth birthday, a lad embarks on an extraordinary journey of self-discovery and growth, guided by the wisdom of eleven elders called Tribesmen. Each Tribesman, a guardian of age-old virtues, presents a unique challenge that tests the lad’s resilience, courage, and spirit.
Through trials that encourage independence and the practice of essential skills, the lad learns to question the traditional masculine archetypes and to understand that true strength lies in character, compassion, and the courage to stand for what is right.
This novel is a compelling exploration of the rites of passage into manhood, offering a fresh perspective on the virtues that define it. Join our young protagonist as he forges his path, confronts his fears, and emerges from the shadow of boyhood, transformed by the wisdom of the Tribesmen and the unyielding strength of his own convictions.
This is a great coming of age story for young men to understand the different elements of what makes a man and what it looks like to live it out. Even though it is a fictional story, the real world applications are life changing for the formation of boys to men.
I was lucky enough to be a beta reader for this book and could not love it more. The text flowed well as the young man navigates and learns from the Tribesmen. Overall a fast read but would be a great book study (has a companion book) for any young person (not just male). Life lessons presented in a unique way.
