People should be aware this is a cliffhanger to get you to buy the next book. I knew there were multiples, but not that there was a cliffhanger as the ending.

Wicked Proposal is a single mom, Russian Mafia story with tons of action and plenty of drama. She never fails to pull me in and leave me wanting more. The banter has been super witty and the smexy times 🔥🔥🔥. The two main characters have had super chemistry and I'm so invested in them. I can't wait to read the second book!

This book pulled me in right from the start. Mia is a single mom doing everything she can to survive, and when a dangerous stranger offers her a ridiculous amount of money for one night, saying no doesn’t feel like an option.
Yulian is rich, ruthless, and everything she should avoid. What starts as a fake girlfriend setup quickly turns into chaos. Secrets come out, feelings get involved, and the chemistry between them is impossible to ignore.
It’s gritty, spicy, full of tension, and the kind of story that keeps you up too late. And yes, it ends on a cliffhanger that’ll have you cursing and immediately needing the next book.

I’m DNF’ing this one at 37%. Let me start off with the whole autism and ADHD involving her child. As a mother to a child who has both of these, do your research better before writing about it. The daycare director pretty much diagnosed her son then she paid $600 over the course of a WEEKEND to have her son speak with a therapist and be diagnosed. This then becomes the kids whole identity at four. She also mentions after this and buying him new shoes she’s nearly run through all the money she was given. She was given 50K!! She is also coming from a domestic abuse background. It mentions there is a scar on her neck from the last time her ex grabbed her but she doesn’t even flinch when the MMC is aggravated and grabs her around the neck, she gets all hot and bothered. Later she’s asking him if he wants kids, he says no then proceeds to internally recap his own history. She then puts her had on his arm and says sorry as if she knows his whole background. It didn’t make sense. Little inconsistencies like this were thrown around regularly. After coming back to the reviews I noticed they were all done within a week’s span of each other and all gave the author five stars from ARC readers. The characters have no chemistry and the inconsistency is eye rolling.

Bratva boring
The beginning was super slow but did pick up.in the middle where the characters developed. As bratva books go it was clearly not the best. Most of all there is no ending. You need to buy the second book to find out how what happens.
I've never minded buying a book 2 in a series but not when its to find out the ending of book 1.

I liked it until the last few chapters. those were ridiculous. the flc turned into a derp over night for some stupid reason. ridiculous nonsense. so fucking disappointing.

You will fall in love with both Yulian and Mia, hoping that everything with work out for them and if they have a future together. There is never a dull moment - you will be hooked! I know I was - just love these two! A thoroughly enjoyable read from page to page, one chapter to the next - at times you are metaphorical “on the edge of your chair” wondering what will happen next. Overall, I would highly recommend this book and you will not be disappointed 😊

If there is one thing that Nicole Fox knows, it’s how to pull you in with a mafia romance, each one more unique and fun than the previous. What I loved most about Mia was how strong she was. This girl is no pushover and will not hesitate to bite back. I loved her inner mama bear, I loved how despite adversity, she wasn’t about to let life get her down, and I loved how she cared for Yulian. Her mouthy attitude and sass was unparalleled and really allowed her to hit it off with Yulian in a meet cute that was really funny and witty.
“She’s beautiful. She’s perfect. She’s…the woman I love.”
And Yulian, oh this mannnnn. He certainly had a way with words and I enjoyed every moment of it. He loves Mia for her wit and ability to navigate his world despite not being from it. I did love his protectiveness, his ability to balance his mafia daddy side with being soft for his woman.
Special mention to Eli for being a cutie patootie! I do wish that Yulian and Eli had bonded a little more in this book but I am hoping that in book two we’ll get to see more of that bond. The entire Star Tech premises was also really funny and added a quirkiness that I have yet to find in a mafia romance.
Yulian being torn between his love for Mia and his loyalty to seeking revenge was really important and showed that despite being a mafia boss and overall baddie, he’s just a man and sometimes making the right decision takes courage. I loved how transparent Mia and Yulian are towards their feelings for each other and despite the conflicts that stand between them, they find a way to make it work.
“He wants me. He wants me as badly as I want him. Not just today—forever.”
The ending was just jaw dropping and leaves us at a point where everything seems to be falling apart. I cant wait to jump into the final book in this duet and just know that it will all work out for our beloved Yulian and Mia.

Another amazing book by Nicole Fox. This has all the awesome mafia romance vibes with its brooding, overly gorgeous, morally gray, mmc and his equally hot second in command. We will get back to him later.
Yulian thought he buried his heart and souls with his family a long time ago but a chance encounter with Mia leaves him feeling something deep down in his chest. He’s never met someone like her, no one dares to speak to him, or at him, the way Mia does. One their first encounter she has his maybach towed while is on a call. This is probably my favorite part of the book.
Mia is a no nonsense ER nurse who loves her job and her son Eli. She has a scary past, doesn’t trust anyone but her extremely small group of friends from work. She is dedicated, funny, smart, witty and beautiful. When she comes across Yulian and his fancy car blocking in Rhonda the Honda (omg I loved that Nicole named the car), she got fed up with wealthy people thinking they can do what they want, when they want. So she has his car towed while he is on the phone and goes about her night.
Only when she comes to get in her car is she confronted and he proposes a contract she can’t afford to say no to. She knows she is selling her soul yo the devil, but at least he is good looking.
This story is book 1 in the series and I cannot wait for book 2, Wicked Refusal! I love Nicoles ability to draw you into the story and her character development is amazing. I feel like I know them personally and like I’m there in the room or the car. It’s such an amazing feeling when an author can transport you to a place seemingly effortlessly.
Ohhh speaking of book 2 I hope we get to hear more about Maksim (Yuli’s second in command) and Kallie (Mia’s bff and fellow nurse). Kallie needs her own book! I need to know more about her story and where this love match is going, if Maks ever decides to make a move. Ugh.
If you’ve never read one of Nicole Fox’s book run don’t walk and grab a copy. This one ends on a cliff hanger (which I don’t like for obvious reasons). But all good things come to those who wait. So I shall get book 2 and keep on reading.

When she comes across Yulian and his fancy car blocking in Rhonda the Honda (omg I loved that Nicole named the car), she got fed up with wealthy people thinking they can do what they want, when they want. So she has his car towed while he is on the phone and goes about her night.
Only when she comes to get in her car is she confronted and he proposes a contract she can’t afford to say no to. She knows she is selling her soul yo the devil, but at least he is good looking.
This story is book 1 in the series and I cannot wait for book 2, Wicked Refusal! I love Nicoles ability to draw you into the story and her character development is amazing. I feel like I know them personally and like I’m there in the room or the car. It’s such an amazing feeling when an author can transport you to a place seemingly effortlessly.
Ohhh speaking of book 2 I hope we get to hear more about Maksim (Yuli’s second in command) and Kallie (Mia’s bff and fellow nurse). Kallie needs her own book! I need to know more about her story and where this love match is going, if Maks ever decides to make a move. Ugh.
If you’ve never read one of Nicole Fox’s book run don’t walk and grab a copy. This one ends on a cliff hanger (which I don’t like for obvious reasons). But all good things come to those who wait. So I shall get book 2 and keep on reading.

There’s a missing Bratva lieutenant named Nikita and then the voice that can send Mia into a panic attack, all of this while both of these characters are kept busy and not sharing all that needs to be shared!
The suspense runs high, choices must be made and now is the time that Mia and Eli could use Yulian to come to their rescue…..but bridges may have been burned and their lives might be in danger and it has nothing to do with Yuli’s bratva.

Mia is a hardworking single mom with a small son. She works two jobs to take care of him. She comes back home from her first job, gets ready for her second job, and is trying to leave when she realizes a car has her blocked in. Angry that she is about to be late she goes over to the man and asks him to move his car. He refuses. She warns him before having his car towed.
Mia goes to her second job and comes home to see the man again. He is waiting outside her house and offers her a deal. He needs a date for an event and offers her a large sum of money. She needs the money for her son so she agrees. He comes and takes her to the event. On the way she learns his name is Yulian. When they arrive Mia soon realizes the event is actually a wedding. She is horrified to see her ex who is the one about to be married. What ensues is chaos. There is gunfire but they are able to get away.
Mia is trying to understand what is going on with Yulian. She can tell he is wealthy but doesn't want to get her son involved in dangerous situations. But Yulian makes her an offer she can't refuse. He offers her more money to be his date for several upcoming events. She is determined not to get her heart involved. And she is also trying to keep her son and herself safe from her ex. Her past is quickly catching up to her but Yulian seems to want to keep them safe.
The chemistry between Mia and Yulian was explosive. Yulian didn't want to get involved with anyone because of his past. He lost his family and didn't want to lose anyone else. Mia has dealt with her difficult ex and doesn't want to get her heart broken yet again. I love how these two helped each other. Mia was a strong woman. I can't wait for the next one.

You might want to make sure to double check that you are buckled up, dangerous men, alpha’s personified, possessive, oh, gorgeous, brooding all the makings of a story consisting with three D’s (dark, delicious, and dirty) 😊. There will be suspense, betrayal, death, darkness, secrets reveled, violence, hope, forgiveness, and maybe even love along the way. Mia is sweet, overworked, tired, working two jobs to support her son as a single mom so relatable, one day getting ready for second job tired when she blocked requested the gentleman to move before having his car towed and when she gets home that evening there he was again but this time with an offer that was nearly impossible to refuse but also hard to believe (sometimes something it too good to be true it usually is) . He offers to pay her for her time to attend a date with him but what he didn’t tell her was a date to her ex. wedding where all craziness was going to break out leaving her at the mercy of his protection. Nicole Fox has done it again. Every time I pick up one of her books, I’m reminded why she was my first introduction to Bratva and dark romance. Wicked Proposal hooked me from the first page and didn’t let go.
Mia is a desperate single mom who’s barely hanging on. Despite juggling multiple jobs, she can’t cover the bills, and the idea of failing her sweet little boy, Eli, haunts her. Then comes Yulian Lozhkin, arrogant, ruthless, filthy rich, and impossible to ignore, offering her a deal: a million dollars to be fake girlfriend.
It was supposed to be simple. Six months, no strings, and all her problems solved. But of course, nothing is ever simple in Nicole’s books. What follows is a rollercoaster of secrets, danger, passion, and heartbreak. Yulian is torn between love and revenge. Mia between survival and trust. And she has done it again! Just when I think it’s going to go right, she makes a U-turn and I’m still stunned! Praise for this proposal! The power of a mother’s love for her child baby is nothing to play about! I loved how Mia did what she had to do to get out of a situation and kept her wits about her when faced with craziness. Yulian (love that name by he way) stood for what mattered to him, even when that changed. Not backing down even when he didn’t have all the facts. Just a stirring in his belly and the need to protect. Them coming together and healing open wounds and falling slowly was everything! This book also touches on some behavioral and mental holdups for kids which was very nicely written, not plowed over or swept aside. It showed how these things can be missed and how not only are the kids viewed, but how some parents feel when finding out. Very nicely done. This story hit you in all the usual feels and then wrung out some extra that you weren’t even prepared to show! Very nicely put together. The plot flowed easily and well. I didn’t feel like I was rereading parts just to fill up space. The supporting characters made sense and weren’t just fillers. They added to the context and kept it from being boring. Can’t wait for the next book to find out the next reactions and WWMD (what will Mia do) also gotta see that my *nephew* Eli is gonna get back to his bubbly spy loving self!!.

Every book I read of Nicole’s I think she can’t write one better, more gripping than that and then she goes and does it with her next release! Wicked proposal lives up to that in every way! I LOVED it and cannot wait for book 2, wicked refusal!
I loved the characters, Mia is a strong, independent, feisty and likeable character, after escaping her abusive ex and raising their son and keeping him safe and protected for almost 5 years, she meets yulian. Yulian is a ruthless bratva boss consumed with getting revenge against those responsible for killing his family, when he encounters a feisty firecracker of a woman who doesn’t take his crap and stands up to him. At first he sees someone who he can use as bait to draw out those he’s looking for, before realising she is everything he has avoided letting himself have. Try as much as he can to keep her at a distance he realises it’s impossible and she, and her son, have captured his heart. When her ex reappears and becomes a problem things don’t go as he planned. And the cliff hanger ending…. So mean 😭 I cannot wait for book 2 to see find out what happens and if yulian can get Mia and Eli back.
I loved the side characters too - maksim and Kalle are loyal, fun and entertaining and seeing their relationship develop on the periphery of Mia and Yulian’s is fun and adds a bit of entertainment on the top!

I really enjoyed this book—Nicole always writes flawed characters so well, and Wicked Refusal is no exception.
I loved both main characters, Mia and Yulian. Their interactions were fantastic—sometimes funny, always intense, and the sexual chemistry between them was absolutely off the charts.
Mia is a fierce mamma bear, raising her 5-year-old son Eli after surviving a traumatic and brutal relationship. What would have broken many only made her stronger—she lives for her son, and that strength shines throughout the story.
Yulian (The Lozkhin family Pakhan ) on the other hand, is weighed down by the murder of his family and friend 20 years ago and is dead set on revenge against an elusive enemy who’s haunted him ever since. He’s grumpy, hot and cold, and carries that broody energy that totally worked for his character—even if it was a little frustrating at times!
When Mia and Yulian finally come together, magic happens. I also really loved the side characters—they added depth and color to the story.
If I had one critique, it would be that there wasn’t quite enough mafia content for my taste, and Yulian felt a little too distant at points. Still, it didn’t take away too much from the overall experience.
All in all, Nicole does it again. I’m already looking forward to the next installment!.

Wicked Proposal is Book 1 in the Lozhkin Bratva series and it brings us Nurse Practitioner Mia, she is a single mother of 4 year old Eli, the cutest little munchkin, she is struggling and drowning in debt, working 2 jobs, juggling babysitters for Eli and an active CPS judgement against her because of a babysitting failure and Eli starting a fire when left alone before Mia got home from her late shift.
Then there is Yulian Lozhkin, pakhan of Lozhkin Bratva, ultra rich and absolutely gorgeous looking, he is dangerous, he and Mia meet in an amusing parking mishap!
This led to an offer of a fake girlfriend contract, very simple, no strings, no feelings and all of her money problems sorted but she has a past that she has kept hidden, this money will help with that too! Yuilan too has a past, he is filled with rage, anger and looking for revenge which is why he has offered the contract to Mia, she is his bait, but he will keep her safe. What follows though is a rollercoaster of secrets, danger, passion, revenge. The chemistry between Yulian and Mia is off the charts and watching the feelings between them grow was beautiful, the emotions raw and intense. I absolutely devoured the book and cannot wait to read the next book!

Such an amazing start to Mia and Yulian's story!! I loved the premise of a down on her luck single mother getting propositioned by the wealthy Bratva boss. I really enjoyed both Yulian and Mia and their fiery chemistry.
I loved that Mia was a little spitfire. Sure she had demons but she persevered for Eli. He dedication to him was enviable. I don't want to say too much but I appreciated the attention Eli got and his challenges. I loved that Mia has so much determination and gumption. She is a fun and entertaining character.
I liked that Yulian was a little more stoic, a little more closed off. I enjoy the anticipation of watching those walls around his heart fall. I loved that he was protective right off the bat and that he felt the connection, even if he was reluctant at first.
I fully approve of the name of the villain. I knew someone like that who coincidentally had the same name! That was really relatable for me. I love all the angst and suspense, both throughout the story and between the characters. The supporting characters are well done and engaging. The writing is so good that I got lost into this world and didn't want to leave. It was so easy to be immersed in the story and I just kept reading well past my bedtime. Like all of Nicole Fox's books this one is thrilling and emotional and I would highly recommend it!!

Yulian is the leader of the Bratva, cunning and ruthless. His past deeply impacts his ability to create meaningful relationships beyond his best friend and enforcer Maksim and a couple others. He and Mia have a fierce battle of wills throughout the books but as they venture deeper into each other's lives via their fake relationship, both begin to heal from respective traumas and let each other in.
I enjoyed the chemistry between Yulian and Mia plus the way Mia refused to back down just because Yulian had the wealth and power was great. The side characters (Kallie, Maksim, Reese, Eli, etc) added laughter and tears. It ends on a cliffhanger but I was soured by the buildup. Third act breakups, even the way this one happened, irritate me. I am excited to read the second book to find out what happens with Mia and Yulian.

One accidental, yet conspiratorial, by design. The other, an ex with continuous pattern of a****ve behaviors. Both have claims of personal growth and change, of course. A dangerous and confusing trio, but only one man realizes the need for change in the scenario. Finding herself and her son in precarious position, it can only be her to attempt to make her way out while protecting and keeping her son safe.
Can she? Does she? I don't know, dangit! This book ends on a cliffie! I'm feigning for part 2 as I review!
I really enjoyed the humorous snippets and convos, and the side characters, particularly the MFC's two best friends. I need more! And an ending!
I'm not an exceptionally long-time reader of Nicole Fox' books, but I keep finding myself coming back for more, and anxiously await her new book releases. If that makes me a fan.... You go, girl!

This is the first book in a duet. It is the story of Mia and Yulian. She is a single mom that works two job to support her son. One day when she is getting ready to go to her second job she is blocked in by a car. When the man refuses to move his care she warns him before having it towed. When she comes home there he is again waiting for her and offers her a deal. He is willing to pay her for a date to an event. She is a woman that needs to money for her son, so she agrees. What she doesn't know is that she is about to attend the wedding of her ex. However chaos is the name of the came with this wedding with guns ablaze. When he keeps paying her to go to events her heart might just get involved in these events and Yulian. But she needs to keep herself and her son safe. He past is catching up with her but Yulian wants to keep her safe. These two have some explosive chemistry. I was living for every second of it. I can't wait to see what happens in the next book.

Nicole has done it again. She knows how to write about Mafia romances. This time, it was a bit different then your normal mafia books. Yulian falls in love with the girl he wasn't supposed to. Just a nobody, but Mia needed him in her life. He just happened to come at the right time for her and her son, Eli.
But, of course, there is a bad guy, her ex, Brad. He tries to get her back and even affects her job. He doesn't know about Eli, or rather his son. Yulian and Mia both fall in love and he even proposals when he shouldn't. Unfortunately, Brad does find out about Eli, and he takes him. Then everything changes and Mia finds out about the plan Yulian had with her. He finds out that Brad took Eli and tries to get him and Mia back. But she won't have it, at least that is what he thinks. She is just trying to protect her son and her unborn baby. leaves you hanging, of course. Can't wait to find out what happens next.
