Supervillain Ragnarok is the third and final novel in M.D. Massey’s fast-paced superhero fantasy fiction trilogy.

Written in the tradition of gritty, realistic comic book fiction, this series follows in the irreverent footsteps of works such as The Boys, Wild Cards, Watchmen, Invincible, and a long list of other trailblazing sci-fi and fantasy worlds too extensive to reference here.

M.D. Massey describes himself as the prototypical INTJ. His eclectic background provides him with a rich tapestry of experiences to draw on when crafting fiction, as evidenced by the believable worlds and relatable characters he creates.

As a former Army combat medic (91B), professional martial arts instructor (Krav Maga, JKD, FMA), and women's self-defense instructor, he possesses a unique understanding of close combat, firearms, and criminal violence that few authors can match. This knowledge provides an element of realism to the Druidverse™ novels, setting them apart from other fantasy series.

Mr. Massey lives in the Texas Hill Country with his family and a huge American bulldog that keeps him company while he writes. When he's not in his office or at the local coffee shop writing, you can find him in his garage pummeling inanimate objects or knife-fighting with his friends.

The finale of Superhero World trilogy is the best of the series. Colin has enemies on all sides. The heroes want to catch him. The villains want to kill him, and that world's version of Superman is so twisted and evil......

All Colin needs to do is retrieve some tech to fix his own timeline. But he'll need to go through the good guys and baddies to get it.

Hard to put down

This installment of the Druidverse was very hard to put down. After reading the first 2 books in this series, you know the characters (good and bad?) and the story. Colin is just trying to get some tech to help in the apocalyptic world. He needs to creat something that will destroy the vampire virus that has devastated the human population. He comes here for the tech, only to find superheroes and villains. A horrible mistake while using his magic, turns him into a villain and he must fight to get what he needs. He makes some friends along the way and shows some what it truly means to be a hero. Great read.

It just keeps getting better

Loved this final book. M.D. Massey really outdid himself in transitioning the Druid into being both a superhero and a supervillain. The characters were all well written. Their motivations were clear. Each installment in the trilogy was interesting as a standalone book and not just as a filler. I would recommend 100% to all lovers of the fantasy/sci-fi genre.

Endgame of superhero Ragnarok

Beaten but not defeated, Colin once again triumphs over the forces of evil. A SATISFYING END to the Superhero Trilogy and a tip of my hat to the author.

Good ending

The Druid is battered and broken, left for dead, but in a world he never made, triumphs. Let's be honest, he was going to survive in the end. It's the journey of how he does that matters.

Another absolute hit

I stumbled upon Junkyard Druid so long ago and was instantly addicted. This entire series brings me so much joy. The protagonist is such an amazing character and I am always excited to read the next adventure.
