Angel Creek: Violet - a review by Rosemary Kenny.
Geologist April Love is expecting a baby girl with Wendell...who is not what he seems. She and her sister Violet, a nurse, both live in the eponymous town, and April becomes obsessed with the old abandoned mining town - with devastating results.
Suzanne Jenkins' riveting storylines intertwine in interesting and believable ways, which reminded me of her other fantastic series, Pam Of Babylon, with Violet as the central figure in this instance.
Violet and her family's story is so compelling, that I read it straight through in one go.
Why not try it for yourself - and brew lots of strong coffee...you'll read all night!
