Mercy’s been taken. Trapped in an asylum on a remote island, she searches for answers about her missing best friend, only to find more sinister secrets. Fighting all odds, she struggles to find her way back to her men before her captors destroy her—or her absence destroys them. Meanwhile, The Quint, now reduced to three remaining members, takes a captor of their own. Enemy in tow, they set out to find their missing girl, each man battling his own demons along the way. Will these sinners lose their souls to the darkness that threatens to overtake them, or will they find their way back to each other, and their salvation with it?
***This thrilling conclusion to Mercy's story is for adult readers with no triggers.
You might not guess it when you pick up your first Selena novel, but Selena is a true romantic. She writes gritty, realistic New Adult contemporary novels with characters you'll love to hate and hate to love.
If reading about teens behaving badly upsets you, steer clear because these are full of drama, angst, fighting, drugs, sex, and rock & roll. There will be times you want to throw your Kindle. There will be lying, cheating, bullying, backstabbing, violence, and hard-earned, sweet redemption for those who won't give up on love. Because life's not always picture perfect, but every heart, no matter how broken and damaged, deserves love.
The book is intense from the start, with Mercy locked in a creepy island asylum and constantly pushed to her limits, so it never really feels slow. The tone is heavy and twisted, definitely more dark academia and psychological than fluffy romance.
Mercy is stubborn, hurt, and still somehow hopeful, which makes it easy to root for her even when everything around her is awful.
The Quint well what’s left of them anyway, are obsessive and morally gray, very ride or die, which works if you like possessive, damaged men rather than soft boys.
The asylum setting, missing best friend mystery, and hostage road trip vibe with the guys dragging along an enemy keep things tense and dramatic. It leans into themes of control, obsession, and “are we too far gone to be saved,” so it feels more like a survival story with romance than a standard campus love story.
Very much a dark romance: lots of triggers, lots of emotional wreckage, but a satisfying wrap up if you’ve been following Mercy’s story from the start. This is NOT a chill comfort read, but great if you’re in the mood for chaotic, dramatic, all or nothing love with a gothic edge.

Of Sinners and Salvation Confessions of Mercy Soules is book 4 in The (Fallen Gods of Thorncrown Universit). It is the final book in the series and wraps everything up perfectly. This story picks up were book 3 ended on that cliffhanger. This book follows Saint, Angel, Heath and father Dante as they search for Mercy after she was kidnapped in the last book. Another fantastic story in the series, the characters developed over the 4 books and it was well written. I learned all the secrets I wanted answers to and I loved how we were introduced to other characters which could mean new stories in this world
Final book in the Confessions of Mercy Soules series.
I finished the series more to see if the find Eternity, there was still issues around continuity. These people are ready to get it on anywhere, they're running from armed guards and stopping to get freaky. I'm curious to know if there is more about Father Dante Salvatore in a past series, he was very attractive as a character. Overall, the series brushes up against some sensitive subjects such human trafficking, but doesn't have any solutions, the authors have a good platform to help identify victims and how to get them help.
This series started with trying to figure out what happened to Eternity Stone and it all leads to this explosive last book. It picks up where the last one left off and the guys trying to find Mercy while finding out more about themselves. This is definitely the steamiest and most naughty of the series. Definitely not one to read at work...like I did and turned super red at.
This book also introduced so many new characters and plot lines that I cannot wait to see what happens next.

Yes please! This is a very wonderful ending to this Thorncrown University Series. Mercy and her men are so amazing. I really enjoyed reading this series very very much. There are a lot of twists with lots of surprises, very suspenseful, very emotional, lots of really steamy scenes that were so hot. I am so happy for all of them. And they finally getting closure with Eternity. Selena and Alexa did a wonderful job. Please check TW. I highly recommend this book and this series. Definitely a must read for all of us Dark Romance lovers
First a lot of errors. Confusing characters names, including the FMC. It was sometimes hard to follow who was speaking because of inconsistency.
Anyways I wasn’t entirely sure of the plot for a while, then I found it, and then it kinda just vanished at the end. We don’t actually learn much in regards to it either.
Idk it was an ok way to pass the time but not something I’d want for the trophy shelve, re-read or probably remember the next day.
If Selena writes it, I am reading it! The conclusion to this series was everything I wanted and more. I think Saint should have done more groveling though lol. Mercy is a fierce FMC, which I love reading about. This series will be a re-read for sure. You have plot, spice, banter, taboo elements, & suspense. I couldn't put this book or the other 3 books down. Highly recommend.

Oh Goodness! Mercy and her men! It picks up right where it left off with that crazy cliffy! I couldn't put this deliciousness down. There was so much to devour, so many loose threads to pull. I loved every last word... From here to Eternity! Lol yup I said it... I really can't get enough of the Quint and their father.

Final book continues on from the last cliffhanger and it’s a wild ride. if you have triggers when reading this series then this isn't for you. It continues with the theme of darkness, unhinged, twisted and broken characters but somehow find solace and something special between them all. Mercy is literally at the mercy of these three very different but equally powerful men. A RH at its finest.
I do not want to say goodbye to these characters. I have enjoyed all 3 previous books and was nervous about this final book. It did not disappoint. It gave you the answers and created a little bit of "could there be a spin off series" vibe. Mercy and her boys will always be a fav of mine.
what a series! what a wild ride. if you have triggers when reading, this series isn't for you. if you love dark, unhinged, broken characters, dive right in. im sad this is the end. Selena and Akex B did a great job.
I loved all the books up till this one ! Four men ! All boyfriends and she’s going around telling everyone! And they all act like it’s normal! Come on! I was so looking forward to this ! I liked that saint and Heath get together at last ! She just got on my nerves
Very dirty in sexual content…. Lots of organized crime gangs with violence…. Excitingly thrilling and wild…. If you enjoy this type of stories, then it’s a must read….
Picking up from that cliffy were back with Mercy, Saint, Angel, Heath and father Dante and boi the steamy hot twists keep coming! I so cant wait for more! Well written engaging, dark themes, fast paced RH
This was a good final book in the series. It answered burning questions and wrapped all the loose ends up. I enjoyed this series and hope there might be more in maybe a spin off series? I was sent a copy and these are my honest thoughts on this book.
This book picks up where we left off in the last book and I love that. It was a great book and it ended the series perfectly. I got all the answers I wanted and we maybe got some new hints into a spin off?? Maybe?? Hopefully
What an ending! This series was so much fun to listen to. The spice was top tier, and the deeper themes of religious trauma, mental health, and low self image is just well done. I really enjoyed these listens.
Really enjoyed the wrap-up to this series. It is fast paced with a lot of action taking place with surprises throughout. The dynamic between Mercy and her guys and her metamorphosis through the series were amazing.
