Gargoyle on the Rocks with a Lemon Twist

Rate this book
Coconut Cove is a five-star, monster and human, all-inclusive hotel and resort located on the southern Florida coast. Every day is filled with sun, fun and umbrella drinks. But for Bea this is no vacation, she’s working. As a code enforcement agent, she is sent to many various types of businesses. This week she’s been tasked with inspecting the famous Coconut Cove Resort. Sure, there’s sun and maybe an umbrella drink or two, but there is no fun to be had while on the clock. That is until the manager assigns her an escort for the week, a large shirtless gargoyle who smiles excessively. How is she supposed to get any work done with a cheery talkative male distracting her with his inability to wear a shirt and all those tantalizing muscles?
Being assigned babysitter for the sexy code inspector is the best assignment Zaxon has been given since becoming a security guard at the resort. The mouthy little human and her fuck me librarian glasses entice him to no end. He can’t help but tease the tempting female, it’s too much fun getting her wound up, and even more fun when he gets to shatter her resolve and make her scream in pleasure.
But will their week of fun and lust end when her assignment is over? Is there more for them after she leaves the resort? Can he convince her to stay and ignore the presence of the sand she hates so much?
He can sure as hell try.

This was such a cute & fun read! My first gargoyle romance & I have to say I actually loved it so much! I mean the tail play? 🥵 It’s a novella but it’s not all smut it’s actually got a really great story line! Some of the tropes are grumpy/sunshine, forced proximity & Double P 😏 need I say less lol

This book was a really cute, fun, and spicy quick read. I devoured this in a single sitting. Zaxon is just the cutest golden retriever of a Gargoyle and Bea is a grumpy woman just trying to do her job, but she can’t resist the shirtless Gargoyle tasked to escort her around. I absolutely love the idea of a monster resort and all of the different characters and creatures were fun and left me wanting more from this world. The spice was fun, but I also love tail play.

This book wasn’t necessarily anything new, but it was fun and comforting and I really loved reading it!

Thank you so much Rebecca for sending me an advanced reader copy!!

Gargoyle on the Rocks with a Lemon Twist by Rebecca Rennick was my first gargoyle romance, and it did not disappoint! This was such a fun, cute rom-com with just the right amount of spice to keep things interesting. The characters were easy to love, their chemistry felt natural, and the humor added a perfect balance to the romance. It’s a quick, enjoyable read that left me smiling and definitely made me want to dive into more of Rebecca's monster orgy series.

I love Rebecca and think about her gummy bear series at least once a week. Butttt

Cute and generic. Absolutely zero substance but it’s always nice to read stuff like this for a breather. I love Rebecca, her humor and mmcs are top notch. I enjoy reading everything she writes even if it doesn’t tickle my fancy.

Zaxon was a solid character. Bea felt kinda bland. The title throws me everytime, it feels sooo random
