set in the British era manipur, the plot follows ibethoibi- a family head in matrilineal society who views the struggles of manipuris and the people throughout the years from Britishers oppression to world war 2
the writer did a great job creating an emotional bond with characters within a limited amount of time creating grief, pain and making us feel the struggle and making us feel as if we were living there.
although there were a few spelling mistakes, the story was amazing.
